Welcome back to the other board PODCAST, another episode of the greatest show going round and we are back today to talk about some more N L Footy, another Rugby League episode for You. Today we will be reviewing round twenty three, previewing round twenty four and, more interestingly, this week we will be discussing the sort of the youth production of each l club. So sort of looking at the NRL academy is how many players each team produces, who were the major produces for the competition. So we got that to look forward to. So you have normal stuff today, getting straight into the round twenty three review. Thursday night we have the times versus a storm. The storm be the times by fourteen points. I was actually decent game. The Times led sixteen to twelve at halftime and they were putting in a really, really good shift. Jaden Campbell at fullbacks really impressive. I think he as much as Aj Brimson's an incredible player and has been an origin teams in the past eighteen months. I think Jadeen Campbell's the future there. I think fullback such an important position and you need someone who is as involved as possible. Is is dangerous with all the touches and Jaden Campbell sort of suits the mold of the other fullbacks in the competition, where Brimson sort of actually think Brimston's more suited to the five eighth role where maybe a halfback can dominate the game, like run the game, and then Brimston can sort of be a fifth tackle option guy. He can produce something every three or four sets and some piece of magic linebreaking running, speed, good foot work at the line. I just don't think nowadays, the way the full back position is evolved, I don't think Brimson has what it takes to be a fullback, especially relative to Jaden Campbell, who looks absolutely electric with all his touches all. So yeah, that's going to be a really interesting one to see the nights the times deal with in the next, you know, six months, because I'm pretty sure Jen Campbell will see how the rest of the year. I don't think Brimson's going to come back. So yeah, that's going to be a huge decision to make. I know Brimson grew up in the juniors playing in the halves, so I think that would make more sense. That was rumors of him like, for example, coming to the Tigers to play six, I'm pretty sure. So I'm not sure if he has an interest in that, but to me, if I was at times, that's the way I would go. I would play Campbell it's one, and Brimston at six, foggery at seven or someone else at seven. I just think, yeah, that's the best move for the team. And ultimately the store did really well to win. I know they only one by fourteen points, but they tied the record for the most consecutive wins in a row. I think it's nineteen of all time in the Rug National Rugby League Wall even dating back to one thousand nine hundred and eight. So that's pretty incredible. And the storm rest of players so pretty Olpha move from them, didn't even play their all, their full strength to side, and still in the end managed to do it pretty comfortably, although the Times did give them a bit of a scare. So yeah, well done to the Times. They've actually managed to do pretty well and both games against the storm this year, so that's a bit of an interesting matchup for them. And Yeah, hopefully, if the times care that format vasily make top eight and they'll be a bit of a dangerous side. I'd have to say if you're getting within, you know, two or three tries of the storm when you play them, because I know there's a lot of teams that managing right that able to manage that right now, and the storm just roll on really, as I mentioned, one of full strength and easily knocked off a team. So yeah, that moved us into Friday six o'clock game rights just as the SEAGULLS. And I have to say this is I think I mentioned in the preview last week, but this is turned into one of the better modern day rivalries for me. If we're thinking about ribberries,...

...sort of only started in the last ten to fifteen years, I think this is right up there. And I was doing some research and this is actually the fifth game in six years that have been decided by less than two points. So they love a golden point, they love a field goal game and that's exactly what this one was. The raiders. They they've been playing well actually the last six weeks. I think it's sort of going on unnoticed. They've had a really tough draw and they don't play pretty at all, but they play really physical and they managed to make every game they're in pretty close. So I know the manly didn't have turbo, but manly, without turbo, have put on some pretty good shows this year, obviously apart from the first month, but since then. So the raiders to almost get the W that was pretty impressive. Unfortunately, it's going to be a pretty costly loss. I think it might have seen their hopes of finals disappear. But there's still a lot of stones that have to be flipped, I guess, in terms of the story of the rest of the season. They're a lot of pages have to be turned. So there's still got time to turn that around. They've just got to win out really from here. So that was a good thing from manly, just to get the job done. Then the panthers as the Rabbit Os. This is the big game of the round. I was really excited for this one and it lift up to expectation. It was pretty pretty physical, pretty fast paced. was like finals footy really, and the panthers ended up being too good for the rabbitos. The rabbito started well and it looked like they would have the potential to win the game in the first twenty minutes, but ultimately the panciers were just too good for them. The rabbitos couldn't run the distance with them and yeah, I think the panthers sort of showed sorry about that. I think the pants is really showed the difference in class that we've sort of seen in the last eighteen months but maybe haven't been able to see in the last six weeks. So the rabbitos are still going to be a good team. It's a loss. I've mentioned last week. Level loses this, their title chances are gone. And Look, I think their rabbit has. Chances winning the premiership are very, very slim. Like if I had, if I had apart chart and I was breaking down the percentages of everyone winning, I think they would be less than five percent. But that's not any sland. I think right now to have the storm at about seventy percent. So I don't think many teams would have much percentage in my patch up. But yeah, I wouldn't say I lost as much respect as I thought I was going to if they lost by thirteen points to the panthers here. The rabbits back three just couldn't catch the ball really clearly putting up some spiral bombs. Men Saw. I know he got injured. So I don't really want to talk shit about him, but he can't catch thing. Johnston even looked shaky at times. The trail shirked a couple and they were, as they sort of iron the big games every time. Their lack of ability in the Ford pack sort of was the costs, like sort of was the end of them. And this is I have to say, like I don't like being too critical of players because you know they're all just people like you and me. But the RABBITO's spine once again didn't step up in a big game. And I just said the forwards lost the battle and you can suggest that's why they didn't step up. But for me, Ford Pack, who's so highly talked about as this one, especially the harves Walker and Reynolds, I think cook does his best. I don't think he ever dominates the game from start to go, so you can't really expect him to turn a game and it's head. He will produce an odd run or hit here or there and then the treill actually thought. The travels are right. But the for me, yeah, Reynalds kicking game is good. Ebous to kick that magical forty twenty, the best forty twenty of all time, but cody walk in particular. There's people talks of him, people saying he's going to win the dally am, people saying he's the best player in the game, people playing should people saying you should play in New South Wales.

But he never stands up in these big games. And I know it's hard to dominate if your Ford packs not winning, but if you're a player who's talked about in that the echelon, you have to be good enough, even when the tides against you too, able to turn a game, produce a linebreak the changes momentum and all that sort of stuff. And Yeah, for me, once again he just went absolutely missing and it's sort of frustrating because, you I'm getting a little bit sick of the media just hyping him up every time he has a stretch of good games against Shit teams and then he shows us time and time again that he's just a solid club player whenever he comes up against the big ten. That most just into Saturday. Goodwin by the panthers, though, moved us into Saturday at Rockhampton. This was a pretty shit game. Obviously I'm a tigers fan, which made it bad, but in just in general, the skills are really like. I know seventy points were scored, but I didn't think the sharks were even that good in the first half and then the Tigers wire just wore for in the second half in the sharks took advantage of that. The sharks back seven, which is too good, too fast. I don't know what it is with the Tigers that something. Madge criticized it in the press conference, so I was wondering if that was a coaching technique, which I was really worried about because it seems so stupid. But he criticized it and that's the line speed if you actually watch the Tigers, unlike every team he's ever played rugby league, we don't actually like so the mark, let's says the thirty five meter line. When our first contact is made, it'll even be the thirty five metal Linar might be even a couple meters behind that. We don't like meet the attack and that's why I think our defense is so bad, is because we're not meeting them with momentum, so we're sort of catching them, but our momentums our weights on our heels, so they've already run ten meters before we've touched them and then they easily get five to ten meters prose contact. So you're giving them fifteen to twenty meters of play. So you're just letting them walk out of their end and that's something I've noticed pretty much since the middle of the year and I'm really not sure where it stems from. It's most notable in the so if you like set up at the scrum line on the right side and you do a switch play to the left, even if you're not like, we don't make you draw and pass. We just sort of ease off and you can just run and run and run. And even if you don't like drawing past, get a man through a line. You'll easily make twenty meters doing that. So, yeah, the Tigers really have to sort that out. I think it's a confidence thing. I think they think that as a team they're not going to move up as a line, which doesn't make sense because you're with each other every training session, surely, and that's what surely you've done your whole nrl career. But yeah, that's something that needs to be fixed Cuz it really makes it hard to win games because you're letting them runs sixty to eighty meters a set. Then you're doing all the tackling because all the balls up your end, and in the last couple games that's what's happened to us. I know we had a win over the cowboys or whatever, but we've done a lot of tackling in the first twenty minutes and we've just been bugged by the time, I guess, like the sixty minute. But the sharks were good here. Look back. Calf was really, really good. The youngster, he looks exciting. They've just got some really fast place the sharks soundly. More toloo had a really, really bad broken jawl, but he played really well. So he only Kultoa is always good on the wing, kind of Tracy. Any position you put him in. He just has a real hard crack and runs hard on to the ball, which it seems easy to do, but if you're a tigers fan you know that it's not as common as you think. And Yeah, well done to the sharks. Given themselves a real chance in the finals. Hunt. I personally don't really want to see the make finals. I don't think then the most interesting team. But yeah, if they wind from here out,...

...they'll probably get in and they deserve it. But yeah, the Tigers really disappointing. Don't want to talk too much about the Tigers because this is an NRL podcast on a tiger's podcast, but just so I'd give my opinion on the whole madge dilemma. For me I would keep him because we've sacked about three coaches now in the last six or seven years and every time we've sacked one it hasn't really changed the way our club is gone. So you know the saying like, if it's not broken, don't fix it. Well, in this situation our method is broken, so fix it. So our solutions always been to just sack the coach when we feel like it's necessary, which right now it would be in the past. But for me we're doing so poorly. I am happy just give him another year and see how it goes. My brother reckons we should give him to the halfway mark next year. I'm happy with that. Or I'm happy with them just to say you've got all of next year. I know the Tigers are criticized of blaming Ivan cleary, but the last of his horrible contract city signed are all done now. So now just essentially had the full salary cap to build a square that he likes and yeah, if he can't not necessarily improve on the ladder, I think it's going to be another tough year next year. But if we don't at least see it a direction that the club is going in, they're brought in sheens now to oversee the whole football club pretty much, and if we don't start to see a direction or a future then I think you can move them on. But for me now I just don't think you get much from sacking him. I think you'd bring in a average coach to replace him and you're sort of stuck in the mess you are yet again. So do we also got injured in this one, which is really horrible news. Has Been The standout, I would say, of the Tigers season and he's, I think, is actually one of the best five eights in the competition. I think it's really overlooked for being in a poor side, but it looks like he could be up out for up to seven months, which, thankfully it's happened at the perfect time of the season for us. Seven months from now is pretty much round two or three. So if it's as bad as it can be, it's still not horrible, but it's just really bad. So one of his age, she's had a knee problems in the past not ideal, and also for him to miss out on a full preseason. It's going to be tough for him to find next year, which really sucks for the Tigers. We do have Jackson hastens coming in from England, along with all of a Guildart, so they're going to be really interesting players to see, just even from, I would suggest, from a neutral point of view, I was like seeing people come from the Super League and seeing how they go to an adapt but I watched a lot of Super League on the weekend and Hay stings has a reputation now and guild art looks like he's actually a pretty impressive player. So really excited for them to come on a board. But YEF, for me matches, you just got to stick thick with him. If anyone should go, probably Justin Pasco. Just doesn't seem like he's great at his job. But yeah, I'll just let it marinate because of this point where you got to lose. That moved us into the bulldogs to night's I have to say this is one of the all time worst super sad down line ups of there scene. I think five of the bottom six were in play or something like that. So I wasn't that key going into it and I didn't really Miss Hound anything good either. I do mutch all this game, but the nights one by six points against the bulldogs and I can ball scored a great tribe. I didn't even see it. To be honest. The night just aren't looking great. I keep thinking there's going to be a week that just clicks for them and they're gonna turn into the show the potential that they have, but they just really look scrappy. I still have them coming seventh, I'll be honest with you, but I'll be honest, if they come up against the roosters or even the EELS, I think they might get a bit of a weeping in round one. But hopefully they can find some form between now and then. Yeah, they just don't look good at all. But what onto the bulldogs, I guess, for almost upsetting a...

...finals team. Then the eels cowboys. Once again, didn't watch much of this. The eels were up the eels one. We knew they were going to win. They just do what they had to do. The cow really disappointing. Ever since the middle of the season they've had an awful run home. And Yeah, just just like it the EELS. That didn't impress me. I'm not I wouldn't suggest to anyone get back on their band wagon or anything like that. I think they're still in a big spot of bother. Then Sunday afternoon footy. This was one. Was it? Towns will? Sorry Not Tounsil to a WOMBA. Didn't know they even had a stadium there, but it was actually look like a good day of fun footy. Dragons roosters actually put in a bit of a show, to be honest. The first sixty minutes was really, really good back and forth action. The dragons looked physical, fast, exactly like they did the week before, I think was against the panthers. And then once again they got gassed out. So this is seriously an issue for the dragons. But the roosters just stormed home squat about four tries and fifteen minutes or something to close out the game. And Yeah, Teddy had an absolute another cracker. Some of the young guys for the dragons looked really, really good, so that's a promising sign for them. And yet good win for the roosters. They look like they're going to be an interesting team in finals, to be honest, because we've pretty much every week they have about two or three outs, so we're never like, I know, Luke care and stuff like that, Lindsay Collins, they're actually out for the year, but we don't really know what they're going to be like when their full strength, without the players who are out for the season obviously. So yeah, I don't know where put the roosters right now in terms like a power rankings or something. But and then that led to the game of the week for me, broncos versus the warriors. This is an awesome game, to be honest. Back and forth all day, ref controversy, which is like like, as much as we hate it, it's good fun to watch. With the hand of God, you could call it. Can Remember who was in Follard. I feel like it was you and a can in Zavier coats and something, and there was a ball. To me it was grounded by coats and they somehow claim that they can put it down. I'm pretty sure that's what happened, but it was something like that. The warriors got to try. Just wasn't a try. Even the Commentaris like what I heard the bunker ref say that a can ground of the ball and I was like what? And the rests, like the comments, didn't hear that part and then like five seconds later they saw the tri sign. They were like so confused. But yeah, well, she ended up losing the game for the warriors. I hate to put it all on one player, but when it comes down to kicking it's pretty easy to pin it on someone. Unfortunately for Reese Walt I think it keeps one from five or something like that. I think the warriors scored one more try than the Broncos. Bronchstn't miss a kick if I'm not mistaken. Neil food was really good. I don't want to put too much pressure on him. I just want him to enjoy his footy. He actually look like you had a lot of fun on Sunday. He was just run around running players on the fifth chipping and chasing throwing balls to testing you. They look like they could be a good Combo for the future. But yeah, while onto, Milford probably played himself into a better contract for next year. So yeah, looking forward to see if Milford can keep that for him because I don't know about you, but my family was up on their feet where meal for got the ball on Sunday Day, which is what we love to see from him. Moving to my top eight, my prediction is stayed. Actually it's changed a little bit this week and I'm not really sure why. I must have predicted the seagulls to lose to the raiders when I did my ladder predictor. But I've the storm pants has rabbits one, two, three, and then I've got manly lea frogging the roosters to come forth. But the roost is in at fifth, the EELS in its sixth, the nights and seventh, and then I've got the titans in it eight. And now I actually have no one missing out on points difference. I've got everyone full win back. So to me it's...

...a clear cut top eight. I really do need to look back on my top eight prediction. I'm interested. I listen to my tigers prediction. I think I was like one spot off. I think I said they're like twelve, that I think they're going to come like thirteen. So well, actually, I don't know where they calm but yeah, looks like a good top eight. Manly storm round one. If it stays the way it is, that's going to be really exciting. Even Rooster's titans could pose a bit of a threat if the eels come six the eels diets about shop. I have to say that could be a bit of a student's first but who knows. Hopefully Klem Pink can tear them apart or that moves us into my middle section that I'm doing today. Sort of given a break to the middle sex. Actually, sorry, I need to chat about these Super League rivalry round I've completely forgot that, but that was actually a big part of my weekend. Watch two of the big games. Watched Wig investus St Helen's, which was up absolutely incredible. If you own foxtel or KO, please go watch that game. It is like actually nothing like I've ever seen before. So I have to say to the Super League it's a really good product. If you if you but as I said before, if you have K or something, I legit record tune in. All I do is I check the scores and when there's a big game, I maybe watch it on a Sunday morning or something, because you know, you don't want to stay up till bloody's three am watching. I'm not that commit actually, that's why I did for the whole barby on point. Can but don't recommend it. But Yeah, just I love it. The coverage is awesome, like the statistical analysis they at halftime, you know, they get up the video footage makes them really, really good and analytical points about the players and the way the Games going. Yaht see. The coverage is awesome and also in general, the League do a great job of promoting a game. We're like, it's not the number one sport. Will it's not necessarily number one sport here, but you know it's not as dominant over there and for me that's probably part of the reason. Like here we're a big sport, but we're so focused on what's wrong with the game, how we can be better. But rather than that, we they just celebrate their game and they they talk about it in such a positive light. They promote it so well like they've got rivalry around. They are. They're the ones who created the magic round. If you didn't know that. They've got one coming up in two weeks at the Newcastle Soccer Ground, which should be really exciting. They can get a big crowd into that. But yeah, rivalry around was this week and wigin St Helen's arguably the biggest rivalry in English rugby league right now and it was crazy. Like there's this guy called Willie is Sare. I don't know much about it, never really heard of him. He was an absolute lunatic blow tried to get sent off about three times and yeah, man man was an absolute cook up. Finally got simband about the fourth time. He should, like genuinely should have been sent off like some of the things he was doing. I was like, what the Hell is going on? It was so physical. We can didn't show up, which was disappointing. But yeah, there was a lot of nl players on show and there was some awesome English talents. I really recommend going and watching that one. Also Watch the last twenty minutes of the Hole Derby. That was an incredible game, back and forth the whole time. One stand was full of the whole Kr fans, all red and white. One the other three stands or full of the whole off sea fans or what? Black and yeah, it's just a great spectacle. They're singing, there's chanting, which is such a cool thing to see. How wish we could bring that to our game here and there was a great finish to it really. So I don't want to spoil it, but yeah, I really recommend watching Wi and St Helen's and whole versus whole. If you can, maybe just a highlights package or something on Youtube, but if you have watched it or you live in England and followed the Super League, let me know because I'm really interested to know more, really enjoying what is going on over there right now. I think there's five rounds and then there's final. So it's a really good time to get into it and this is like I think...

...this is the closest season there's been a while the last few years. St Helen's is sort of just running in home. So but yeah, that moves us into my academy section. So what I'm going to do? I'm going to go through sixteen to one the academy. So this is a bit of a tough one. So the way I've done it. There's no real perfect way to do this, but the way I've done it. I didn't want it to take me six days because I do have a life as some sorts, although in lockdown. So for the last five seasons. I've grabbed a team list from one round, so twenty fifteen or two thousand and seventeen Toyoto Cup, and then two thousand and eighteen to two thousand and nineteen. I had the Jersey Flag for the New South Wales Competition and I think it's like the hastings and daring coup or something in Queenslake Cup, but they're both. I under twenty on the twenty one. Same sort of bullpark. Twenty twenty got canceled in this shooting include because and they so what I've done is I just tallied up how many times a player from. So, for example, I'll give you an example, Terrelle Fu ma own. It was in the Paramatt Toyota Cup team in two thousand and fifteen. He's played more than five an hour or games. So I just gave paramounter or score one and I pretty much just tallied up and then whenever a team was tied on the number, I split it by quality. So there are some teams who've only produced nine or ten and they're really high quality. There's others who produced twenty one and there's sort of all myths, but that's the general gist. There's definitely going to be some who slipped through the cracks. It's on a full proof method and but yeah, I was just interested to see because I'll seeing about the Tigers and what we've gone what's gone wrong, and I feel like every other team they you know, bringing some youngst off the bench or something wrong week, and they really exciting. They sort of tear up the game for five minutes and get fans really hyped up, sort of like the dragons with talent out our mown the other week. I'm one where the Tigers. I feel like I haven't had that in a while. So I was just wondering, are we producing enough plot talents? So that let me down this rabbit hole and starting in at sixteen. Speaking of rabbit holes, it's the Rabbit Os. They've only produced nine N R L players. And the another issue. Sorry I didn't mention that when I finished my introduction. It's sort of hard to know whether this means the team of the best scouts, because they've picked up these juniors and put them into their junior programs, or if this team's actually producing the talent. You can't really split the to both a good skills. So we're just going to credit the teams where the credits do so. The rabbits are only nine players. Now this sort of makes sense. It's a really small section of Sydney that they're given, sort of surrounded by an RL teams them in the roosters. They haven't produced many big players. Angers CRICHTON was one of their biggest, Caleb Graham, Adam DOE key on Colombe the tongue more recently. But yet they're down the bottom only producing nine players. Manly were next in nine. However, they're produced a lot of quality, so they have not necessarily seen the best of all their quality that they've seen a lot. Let go turbo's obviously the main one, and Nassi final. I know he's had his whole off field saga, but if he does get back on the field I think it can be a very good player. I don't really want to talk about people with ongoing court issues because I don't talk about a guilty person. But they've also got Jesse Ramy and Niko Hines, Brad Parker, all the Quatu so there's a lot of skill. They're just not much volume, which makes sense. Once again, manly, small area and number fourteen. I have the bulldogs. They had produced ten players and not many players of note. With a Gratish spect I don't that they had ten players with more than five games. Don't think any of them have played more than thirty games. So that's in the interesting one to note not producing many. They're out of the Canterbury area. The titans were in it thirteen. Now the titans had a lot of players that sort of jumped around. They might have started the times and the team might have come in and got them. Brian Kelly was one that I was surprised at. Didn't...

...know he actually stemmed from the titans because, if you remember, he debuted through the manly system, Max King of the storm fame, Aj Brimson, Mo fil a, wake er, Fillip Sammy. So actually quite a bit of homegrown talent on the gold coast. The number twelve. I've got the warriors. The warriors. If we did this from two thousand and ten to two thousand and twenty one the why's legit might be first, but their production sort of slide down the last couple of years. They've produced twelve players Bredi near Kurey of paramount of fame is one just avgas a probably Harris de Vita, Eliasak toler. So a lot of them coming through the warrior system. Number Eleven I have the raiders, and the raiders are a twelve team, a twelve player team as well. Not much talent coming out of the raiders system. I believe Panga I played for them at some point. Chot rich is from there. Then they've obviously got raid as young guns like cause brass if shields to MOCO and Lachlan Croaker of manly fame. That puts the storm in at ten. I was surprised by this. Not sure if I was expect them to be higher lower. To be honest, I was interested to see where they'll be because they're great scouts, but a lot of their players usually a bit older that they scout. That who sort of flopped it assisted somewhere and then they pick them up from reserve grade. So not surprised they're not too high. They had twelve players. Nicol Kluck Star was one who's been in their system, Jake Turbin, Jesse Arthur's Josh Ka to know a brown, which was interesting, Harry Grant, Bradon Trindle, which was interesting. Scottie drink water then this isn't a pun, but it's so meant to be a joke. I'm a tigers fan, so don't get him mad. But the Tigers here in at ninth the Times are produced thirteen players. A lot of come through Keebra Park, but yeah, not much talent paper house and obviously, and then apart from that, there's not many guns. That to vet it to toller Tanny of Tenny, old PERSECA, and then the rest are like tigers, players like Jacob little to top mchayley and all that stuff. Race Stone from power. That was interesting. But yeah, not much quality there at all, which is obviously something that the Tigers need to fix up because they used to be one of the great junior producers and that's probably why she's he's been brought back paramount of in at eight they have four team players. They've got some good players in their midst read many deal Brown, bevern, French food may owner, Mus Smith. So they've got some good ones in their dragons. In at seventh, the dragons have produced fifteen players, not much quality. Zach Lomax, about dufty. That's about it really. Luciando Le Lure. So yeah, a lot of players, not too much quality from the dragons, but I think their next proper junior is going to be really exciting. Cowboys are in. At sixth there produced fifteen players. They had a freaking gun team in the Toyota Cup. Go back twenty fourteen to two thousand and sixteen. Look at their Toyota Cup teams. I don't really know what rent wrong. I know they had a really good nmrl team at the time, so the players might have left thinking they had opportunities elsewhere. But they had really kick out. Brandon Smith, Braden Ham, lnu Eli Cohen, Hess Klen Palmer. I know Jerome Hughes was in there somewhere. He he didn't count towards this but I know he played for them at some point. They were said Jake Clifford, Corey Harsbro Dejan r see more recently. But yeah, that was a really interesting one. I didn't think, I know it's a big area, but I didn't think that would be too much talent. For some reason the nights and at fifth they had sixteen players, but not the most talent. I don't I know I keep saying that, but when we get to the big teams you understand what I mean are they had that siefeedy twins, Tom Starling and they are probably the main months of note. R heading into the top for now of producers of talent in the NRL. Sharks a fourth, which I was very surprised at, I have to say, in the last especially under Shane Flanagan,...

...and recently, I guess they do. You know, two or three young guns get blood of the year and they usually pretty good, but I didn't know that they would have this sort of volume. Add a car Jermaine Asako, kind of Tracy, the Brailey brothers, more Tarlo trendle, will Kennedy, Jesse Raymian, CAL flanning and so yeah, they've produced a lot of good players actually, and they're produced eighteen. So whoever's in charge of the junior symccronella absolutely killing. I think people should go have a look at what's happening there because I don't think. Look, I'm from Alban never lived in Sydney, but to me coronel is not like the biggest area when you compared to like Brusbane or pen ruth, and I think it's a pretty awfluent area. So I didn't think there would be that many like families, but I could be completely wrong. I'm just going of what I saw. Ud understand about the geography of Sydney. Paint, isn't it? Third, obviously a lot of their current team has come through their own system. So they were, I need they're going to be, at the top. They have twenty players. Brent NADE and Mostes, Leoda, Dylan Edwards, Nathan cleary, Duran Lewi, Corey wouldell, Caleb acons, Brian Tyler. It's pretty much is their whole team right now, plus a few others who have not been good enough to make the team and look seeked elsewhere for game time, Dan Lourie. So yeah, penrither in it. Third, the broncos are in a second. Not really surprising there, towards the top. Obviously got probably the biggest NRRAL market in terms of participation per team, if we're going to say that. So they have an access to a lot of good play. Still can't keep them walk up anyway. Ash Taylor, Joe Offer, Hang Gawy, Jane sewer, Gyarro, tweet to Panguy, Tony stags pain Hars, Jordan, ricky ten a boyd. So yeah, twenty players. Are some good players, not the most quality, but a lot of them still got time to sprout, as this whole list does. And then this one shocked me the most. The roosters a number one and I thought the roosters would be really low on this list. Obviously a really small section of Sydney, not many families there. So and obviously eastern suburbs rugby union heavy. They produced twenty one players. So I think a lot of this can come down to scouting, but that is still a very good skill to have as a club. So yeah, I gained a lot of respect for the rist is doing this research. Their best players were Latrelle Mitchell, joey man who, Connor Watson, Mamroski, Vic Radley, Sam varrel's sertility, supernewa Jackson Hastings. So yeah, they've produced a lot of players and a lot of them have gone on to play for them, which is always good to see, and they're we're just a lot of good players. So yeah, rusus number one. So that's just a little insight into the youth production of players in the NL. WHO which teams are batting above their average? which teams a sort of stealing other teams players, pretty much. But I like it's still skill to scout players from other systems and all that, but I just want to be interesting check that out. So yeah, well, Donto the Roosters, proncress pants, I guess the main top three. They're interested to see if the Tigers can move up that scale. As a fan in the next couple of years. Now time for around twenty four, preview the penultimate round at the regular season. At this point, I'm going to be honest. Don't know about you guys, I'm sick of the regular season. Just want to get into finals. Might because I'm a tigers fan, but honestly I'm just happy with the top a right now. Are we just called off call of the day? But all jokes aside, I do think the season is a couple weeks too long. I think the gap between origin three and finals week one is too long because you get time to pick up the momentum again and then it's sort of like it's hard to maintain it into finals. For me it should be like twenty two rounds. Origin finishes maybe around eighteen. You get a good month to really build back into the season and then finals, Bang, you're pumped. So I don't know. That's just what I reckon. So Thursday night we've got the nights versus the titans. This is a huge game in terms of this season. If the titans los this,...

...they could be in danger of missing out and the night secure finals, I'm pretty sure. And if the Times win this, I don't think it affects the nights too much, but it'll really boost in their chances. So the main INS anounced for Zel's in clomus suspended peaches playing six tailors out. There wasn't a reason there, so we might have been dropped. My be injured Mo follt away canmit rain and feel sat Philips ammu returned for the Titans and I'm actually tipping the titans this week. The favorites other nights the lines one and a half. So I'm actually going to take the nights. I'm actually taken the Times at the line and head to head, I don't the times haven't been wing too much recently, but I think they've had a lot of honorable losses against a lot of good teams. And Yeah, what I saw on Thursday night against the storm, to me was a lot better than what the night's put up in the last couple weeks. So I know the nights probably have the STAR POW to beat the titans, but for me the titans all day. Six o'clock in Makai. warries versus raiders another really good game. Similar position on the ladder. Tough one to tip. I think I'm going to go the raiders the line, six and a half and the raiders favors. So I might go the warriors the line, but I think we're going to go the raiders head to head. I know the warriors really good form, but the ray it is actually, as I mentioned in the review before, I actually think they're going under the radar a little bit. They obviously should be doing better than they are. Not Saying they're doing well, but they're being competitive in a lot of games and I think that's sort of being unnoticed because they're not getting the results. So I think if they bring that physicality that they have in the last month to this game, I think they would be too strong for the warries and I think the warriors were back down. I think they're the biggest fan of a physical fight. They we've up the old Darby, the Roosh's dress, the Rabbitos, the to foundation clubs. I guess bell main would have something to say about that and I'm sure if you others, but you know what I mean. Karen and that butcher injured. Lock on lamb to play center. I didn't read the INS and outs for the Warriors Raiders, but at this time actually mentioned them. Shawn of Sullivan in for Harris to Beta, which is really weird. So how has to be to dropped? CHATANSA roomains of the team, except he has not won a game for the warriors. Yeah, I didn't get that. Nikoam back on the bench, Matt Lodging for Jaman tournew Brown, Nicol Kluk Star on the bench again. Halls Bro Returns from his bulldogs loan to be on the bench. Sorry about that. Ill lucky lamb to play center. Egan butcher played back row. Kim clomb a toungey our for two weeks suspension mentor season likely over, unfortunately. Jackson Pollo to replace him for the rest of the year. RABBITO's line is twelve and a half. This is, I think the roost is the most unpretty cool team of this at the moment, like I have no idea how good they are. I'm going to have to tip the RABBITOS, but I'm probably going to take the roosters out the line. I think twelve and a half pretty generous to a team that just got beaten comfortably by the panthers. But I will be tipping the Rabbit Os. I think their forms too good and the roosters like they've got a lot of players in their team who are pretty inexperienced. Some are playing out of position, so I think the rabbits get the job done. Dragons has a cowboys Saturday afternoon in Rockhampton, which was an interesting grass. I'll say that much like probably should have been trimmed a little bit more before kickoff last week. But Tyrol Sloane to replace Matt Dufty, like Laura Returns, Jen Sullivan to play nine, Freddy Lustic, I believe, on the bench as a loan player for the dragons. Tamalolo felt into a longy return for the cowboys. HOMES MOVES TO CENT UP GRIFFIN NAME BACK on the bench from suspension. Dragon's favorites line story and a half. This is another tough one. This could be a great round of Franky League. Actually, my initial law is to tip the dragons. Seeing those cowboys he in INS. I am tempted and they are Jew that's all I'll say. The dragons of look decent the last couple weeks for about sixty minutes. I like that they're playing...

...the youth. I think the youth are the fute will obviously the future of the clubs and o'mous statement. However, cowboys do a lot of INS. I'm actually going to go the cowboys. Could be dumb because the dragon the also Jud but who cares at this point? And Seas Sharks Viss broncos. Sad Day. Second Game Tom in him for the Sharky's gamble. Sadly ruled out for the year for the broncos. That's about all the news. They're shark's favorites. Lines five and a half. Got To tip the SHARKY's. Unfortunately, they're in the finals hunt, so I think they've got more to play for. Broncos are good on Sunday, but I was they just scraped a victory really, and if it wasn't for reese's, what reese Welsh was kicking, they wouldn't have got the job done. Storm versus eels, Primetime Saturday night. You got to tip the storm lines twenty two and a half. The few team changes. Brandon Smith Justin old jerome WHO's return. Hines shifted to the bench. Interestingly, George Jennings out again, same injury. Dean eremia returns, furgo replaces Sevo. For the EELS, I actually don't think they got to win by that much. I think the EELS will keep it tight, not like six points or anything, but I don't think they got to lose. About twenty two and a half. I didn't think the game's going to be here like I don't think we're ever going to think that he's going to win, but I'm going to go the storm still be comfortably but not quite twenty two and a half. Then Sunday we've got a double header at redcliffe which I'm really excited for. Well, actually I've just remember the second half of it. Not excited for that, but did enjoy red cliff footie the other weekend. Seagulls. This is bulldogs. Turbos back, Brad Parker's back. There's about sixty eight changes for the dogs. Not going to read them out the lines. Twenty nine and a half for manly. Got A tip manly head to head, but I'll probably take me. Bulldogs of the line. I know their teens looking pretty atrocious right now, but we'll look that. I swear bulldogs don't get blown out. Could be wrong. Manly could win by eighty, but yeah, obviously manly had to head. And then, sadly, the ultimate, the culmination of the round. Panthers Tigers at redcliff. Look, I'm a tigers fan and I'm not excited for this. We looked also lived. We look so bad on Saturday and the penzas look like they just hit form again. Fisher, Harrison toto return, just our luck. Dylan Edwards named. Don't mind that. Actually do. We out for the year? Mentioned that before horrible news. Jock baton pick to play six. Happy with that. It might be a tough game for him, but give the give the young man a chance. Jacob little returns at night and Simpkin to the bench. Definitely enjoy having two hookers. I don't think either of them are good enough or fit enough to play eighty minutes on their own. Yet say far back on the bench, really happy for him. was worried about his injury. When Josh Halla, why really dangerously, came late. The Medi and I forget there's a name for it. Is a cannibal tackle. I don't know what it sounded like. I just said Cannibal, but I mean cannon ball. Say Far back on bench. Happy for that to Lunny Simpkins Walters dropped, I think pretty stiff. I'm too lungy. Simms and Waltz's deserved horrible defense in the middle. On the weekend panthers the favorites. Lines Twenty eight and a half. I'm taking the tigs at the line. Not sure why. Don't see US getting a whipped. Could be mistaken because we are looking shit at the moment. I think the two wins against the bulldogs in the cowboys was very disguising of our actual form. The head toohead for your life saving on it. I'm happy to jinx it because I'm a tigs fam put your life savings on it. The line. Might take the tags of line. Honestly, I know twenty and a half. It's quite a big amount of points. Could see it being in a forty two. Actually, that's twenty eight and a half.

Could say being a thirtysand eight hundred and twelve. There you go. That's not twenty eight a half, but that is the end of my round twenty four preview. I only got one more regular season preview, which is really exciting. So pumped for finals. Wish they were this weekend, to be honest, but hopefully we get crowds and four finals. But actually I'm pretty sure the whole season in Brisbane anyway. But yeah, that's all for today. Let me know in the comments if you've enjoyed the episode.
