Welcome back to the on the ball podcast, this is another episode, the greatest podcast there's ever been. I don't knowwhat i've said the last couple of weeks, but i'm just feeling it so today we'redoing a rugby league episode not going to be the utile structure of reviewingthe round. Sixteen games and pre doing the around seventeen will preview thearound seventeen ones, but won't be looking at specifically too many in theround. Sixteen will just be discussing the general topics of the footy world really, so,unfortunately, there might be a few negative topics that i don't liketalking too much about foot in the negative lite like focusing on thepositives, but sometimes some things do have to be addressed, and obviously oneof the main toinon right now is the dragon's coved breach. Obviously therewas a house party at pole, barns if you're a regulate fan, you would haveheard of it if you're, not while the there they go so there's thirteenplayers, including pul, warn involve twelve of them had all have a one matchsuspension and the paying pretty big fines raging from five k. All the wayout to fifty k and import like major le paul barnas, had his eight hundred kcontract terminated immediately. He's had a previous strike with anotherscandal. I think he might have had two previous ones actually so they've seenthis and they've gone, that's too many chances. I think they were to also sangit as an opportunity to maybe get rid of the over pricecontract, but still the merit was there and yeah they're, just absolute idiotsfor doing it really just respectful. The thing is, i was saying this to myparents. If it was last year when sydney wasn't really in lockdown likewhen they were sort of out out of it, but the players were still in itbecause of the bubble, i'd kind of babe. You feel a little bit of sympathy, phenic thinking like off the general public's allowed to do it well. Iunderstand why they might be frustrated that they can't do stuff like that, butthe fact that sidney's in a genuine lockdown, the general public, can't dothis. Yet these privilege blokes sink. They like they're invincible andthey're, not going to get in trouble for this. It just ridiculous and pullon had a coved breach, i'm pretty sure at the end of the last season as wellso yeah. It just shows that they don't really care they're, just arrogant. They don't think the law applies to them as much as it does to other people,so yeah, pretty disgusting actor, i have to say well unto the n. I do thinkthe punishments are definitely heavy enough. A lot of these situations. Theyoften go a bit light. You know the police tentell find them a thousanddollars, which i understand because say they treat them like normal people. Sois good that the nr came over the top and whack them with some bigpunishments because yeah, it's pretty just really selfish act. Just reallydespectat. This right hadley went on a bit of a rant last sign on an erathread. Sixty you made some good points...

...there and dream. Vols also went on theround on his radio show. So if you want to go, listen to those, they make somereally good points about. Just how disrespectful it is and yeah it's justi would there's one of the dragons plays is come out and anonymously said, like he's, just really disappointed and nod everyone else, and this being theway people are writing about it, as if that's like a scandalous thing to saybut like i would be completely completely in the same light like there.I think they're coming seventh right now, right in that hunt for the topeight and they're showin climpse this year of being a really good team, and these suspensions are over the nextthree weeks. So you could argue that well we're not sure how they'll go inthe next three weeks, but if they lose these next three games, they're,probably out of finals contention- and you could put it massively down to this.So i completely understand why every other player and all the coaching stuffand all the fans would be pissed off. So not only did they bring the game to you know into danger of not going ahead,but- and it's they've also dragged it through a negative light in the media, which is never a good thing, but they've also genuinely damage theirclubs, chances of doing well, the shit so yeah just really really selfishstuff, really disrespectful. It's all been said before in the media, so idon't no crape on about it too much, but yeah, proud of the nil for actually given these guys a big smack with somebig penalties. I don't know where i stand on the suspensions being acrosslee weeks. I've heard some people say the dogs have to pay theirs in one week.So why don't these guys get? I know it would be good to see them almost thesame week and they just get absolutely punished, but in hans like if we lookat it in four weeks and they've been affected negatively over the next threeweeks and they actually lose their extree games. I'll actually write, thenthat punishment, because that 'll genuinely alter their season where, ifthey all miss one week, they could the club could sort of just treat it like abiwa and just go yeah we're not going to get the two points here, but then wecan really have an assault. The next weeks where i feel like it's threeweeks, us pension might actually affect them more than just if they all missedthe same week. So- and i also do understand that it's, like thirteenplayers, has only thirty players in a roster, so yeah, i kind of agree withit. Maybe across the two weeks, would have been better but yeah. I not i'mnot against that. Another talking point is that that my talking points are sort of alljust randomly ordered they're not really got anything to do with eachother, but i just want to quickly touch in the mill and storm on thursday nightthey beat the roosters forty six meal without nelson is off solomona, rime, popinot and haw. Grat are right. Now it's looked like as to morse racialseason. I've had them. On top of my ladder- and i think i predicted them towin- and i still am confident in that- but it's almost looking like a onehorse race down panthers in the last four or five weeks- i i still thinkwhen cleary comes back and organs over them still might get hot again and getback up to that form. But at the moment it's looking very hard for anyone tobeat this storm team. They can...

...genuinely have close to six or seven oftheir best seventeen out and they don't look like they're missing anyone yeahit's just dan like this was a change, pretty good they're coming sick andtheir genuine top for chance still and yeah the meldon storms made them. Looklike a bade team. Everyone was banging out the tigers the other week, but yeahthey're, basically doing it to any team. They compages right now, so yeah hugecongrats have got to go to craig belme. I remember at the start of two thousandand twenty, when these new rules came in, everyone was like the this is theend of craik, belme and storm of stuff, but yeah he's really changed the way hecoaches in the way the melton storm play and they've become one of the mostexciting teams to watch and their success is definitely walls sort ofincreased if anything, so yeah well done to cray bellamy, just furtherstamping his claims to being the best coach of all time and well on to theplaying squad there killing it something else that happened on theweekend. The raiders got pumped by the times for forty six in camber's, well, camera actually favorites going intowhich surprised me. I tipped the titans and i actually said in my predictionslast week that that's like my opposite of the week and i had them at the lineand everything yeah. I just think there's not been alot of press on it because there's been a lot of other things. Talking pointshas been origin now there's this dragon's covin breach, and my dadbelieves, because a lot of his friends with a lot of the people in the mediathat he doesn't get much attention. But i do think ricky stewart's time is upin camera. I just think it all seems to have gotten a little bit stale. Therethey've had a couple good generate lot generations, but they've had a couplegood teams now i know they made the top a and i think, liketo thousand andfifteen two thousand and sixteen it that blay coston lead side and then thelast couple of years they went with an a bes, dick of winning a premiere shipthat a really good side. John batman, george williams, jack wines in was ingreat form josh properly. He was one of the best players in the comp, but forme now it just looks like it's got a little bit, stale, not sure if it's allhis fault or if it's the players fault. But at this point i ank camera do needa change because at the start of the year i was verypatient with stewart, because i thought last year they started slow and theycame good. So i was just assuring that was going to happen this year, but it'saround sixteen now and you could argue they've actually gotten worse since thefirst month of the competition, which is hard to believe. That's happened atthis stage. They don't actually have too many injuries. They've got shinesout a bit apart from that there almost full strength or george williams, leftin the middle of the year and left a hole in the salary cap. Butapart from that, there still get a very, very good team on paper and they'replaying like a bottom for side. I just did my lot of predictions before iwould try all readout in this second but yeah. I had them finishing at fortin fourteen after being a top four team, pretty much for two years, a row so forme, ricky stewarts got to go and...

...there's a lot of heat on mica, babuiand some other coaches. But for me brick to it's the one in the firingline right now- and i just think i think everyone would benefit from it-obviously not him because it would be unemployed. But i just think camera need a change. Theyneed a freshet up. They still got some good players there, so if they broughtin a good coach straight away many a few quick signings or something likethat, they could pretty quickly get straight back into that top for huntbut in the coming seasons. But i just think right now, yeah the rikisha andthis current playing group something's, not right, something's gone wrong and ithink change needs to happen. And unfortunately, it's easy to change. Onecoach than seventeen to thirty players, so for me, ricky short, has to go andyeah it's sad, because i really enjoyed that the last couple years of thecambered team. They were really exciting, tent to watch the fans, gobehind them, a whole city of camera, up behind them, rickyshow it's a legend ofthe city and of the team, but unfortunately, for me a change has tohappen and it's got to happen soon. Well, at least before the end of thebefore the start of the season or next season. For me something else that occurred on sundayafternoon, actually no saturday night, what i'm getting confused other nightsfor an absolute clinic over the cowboys. Thirty eight neil- and this was thefirst time mitchel p s came on ponged jake clifford all played to get us, sothis is really what the nights are capable of. We've been expecting itreally since the start of the other atamor era at the in the hunter, and wehaven't seen it on too many occasions. They've shown a few bright spots hereor there had a couple really good halves, but they've never really puttogether an eight minute performance like this and all of a sudden. Therecontend ar not for the premiership, but like their genuine chance of top eight, and you know the there's some teams who are inconsistent in that top six rightnow, such as the roosters and you wouldn't want to face the nights. Iwouldn't say the strike power they've got their ford packs of meant, so thenights are definitely going to be one to watch, especially if they getthrough this origin period are unharmed and they come out of it with pierce poland clifford off the back of the sciped boys. Clamor braman best comes backfrom injury. All of a sudden, what's been a pretty poor season for the nightstarts to look like a pretty exciting one coming into september. So yet hugewarning shot from the nights. The cowboys have been a great form, meta, hideous and lead up to that game with their coach go into isolation and allsorts, but a yet really really good win from the nights, especially keepingthem to neil froze. Also, coming back, i think in the coming week, so yet begresult for the nights and looking forward to see what they can produce inthe future. But sadly the last three things i've mentionedhave been big bargains and that's something i'm going to address today. Iknow the nil is often a bit of like an alarmist culture as soon as there's onebad ground foot, your we're very...

...introspective vaud say, is a as acollective. I think af l and other sports really appreciate their game andi think sometimes we're a little bit critical of the game over critical, actually, whether it be the rafts, the commentates, the players just theproduct in general, but right now there is something wrong with the game andthat a hundred percent needs to be addressed, and i think that comes in the form ofthe rule changes and i wan bennet's come out and said that not like pinpointing any teams or anything but he's basically said, there's just the reason. The gap themargins are so big is it's just the some of the lower teams than thecompetition have just made. Some really really poor business decisions in termsof list manager and stuff like that, and i completely agree with that andi'll talk about it in a little bit more detail in a second. But there issomething wrong with the game. It's a hundred percent correct. Even if welook at a game like the nights versos, the cowboys. These are two evenly baseteams going into it and if you want, i know i just was was saying how greatthe nights were. But if you watch that game you would a thought it was oneversus sixteen. But realistically i think it was like twelve versuseleventh or something like that. It's not just when i know and right now ithink the storm, an panthers are probably the two best teams i've everseen in my lifetime, and i know that sounds like some serious exaggeration, but that's true, they're, just really incredible teams to watch so pat, butit's not just them pumping teams, every teams, pumping teams, even the tigers, one of the leash in most out of form teams in the competition to haveproduced a few wallopings. Even the ballots beat the dragons of the weeklike thirty to her something, so there doesn't need to be something interest. If you don't believe me, the statistics are here to back me up. The amount of games of the margin ofover twenty points per round has doubled from around two to two point.Five from you know like two thousand and fifteen to thousand anine teen toaround four to five games around. So that's over half of the game is par.Around has a margin of over twenty points. So that's like four tries the margin, which is just not a closegame and all not an exciting product, and the average margin in these gamesin terms of points is essentially doubled. So it's gone from around tento fifteen points, pera peroun to twenty twenty five, so yeah, justreally it's just no idea is it. We want to see close foot. Yes, it's excitingto see a team purnall of points, but when at sixty six neal like it was onsunday and saturday with manly rest of the baldos that's off on for anyone towatch it even at points. Well, i can't really relate to it astikes fan and i'm a die hard blues fan, so i never want them to go easy on themoraines, but there there was times in that origin series. I can't even denyit i'm not saying origins broken or anything. This was just a one offseries, but there were times in that game where i was like well, this isjust a bit boring like it's not really a contest, so something else, i'm are so concerneddabout the international at bellied...

...rules of generally been prettyconservative compared to the right by league. So i was doing some researchbefore and i thought the ruching es hadn't come in to play forinternational age league, so i was going to be interested to see how theworld cup, at the end of this year played compared to the nil and whetherthe product was better on ut, but they've actually adapted the rules ofinternated to the no rules. So there will be six agains and all that stuffand unfortunately i actually think that's going to make international la alot. Less interesting might increase the interest in thegames, like you know, some o versus b g or whether it be new zealand versus tongar because i think they're a similar level and- and there might be, like you know, thirty or game stuff like that, really high scoring them- might throw the footaround. However, i think the games involving australia are going to beabsolute blowouts. I think australia in general. Don't get me wrong. This andtalented plays in those other sides, but the australian team has a skilladvantage that a shore and so say they're here they're a little bitbetter than you know. New zealand, tommy, england and all these rules havedone. We've seen it with the storm, the panthers, the eels or the good team toshare it. Just winds that gap, so all of a sudden, a ten can't really grindout a tough win or close competitive loss like they used to be able to indefense. Now, if you're, the weaker team, it's pretty hard for you to becompetitive in the game, so i'm really worried about the wall cup. I thinkaustralia o when a lot of games by a lot of points and they've actuallychanged the system this year they used to have a system where all the to onenations were in the same group to avoid like australia plane. I don't knowlebanon the group stage and winning like seven neal, but this year thethey've actually changed that so australia will be playing some of theweaknin. So that would be a little bit scary. I have to say, because we don'treally want to see australia winning like a hundred and twenty meal, alsothink australia have a huge fitness advantage. That's not really somethingthat they should be punished for. Obviously we want the better the fit ofteams to win, but teams like toler an ingle might not beas fit orth as if athletic as istrian teams and if they have to defend acouple sets on their line that i think that they can really become exposed now think about how to fix this. So alot of people in the nro community just complain complain complain, but no onereally brings solutions to the table and it's a very tough issue to tackle, because these rules were brought in to fix problems at the time how they have, unfortunately had unintended consequences as a lot of things do whenyou change rules, or even in like you know the economic world, you willchange your palsy or something and something unforseeing will happen, butyou still going to be able to make changes to fix those unforseenconsequences, and we've been talking about it. The last few months with myfamily and i think, two of the rules that should change one. I think they should bring back ascrum for kicking for touch. I think...

...this allows the game to have morebreaks. Yes, people find it boring, especially in the last ten minutes whena team on top kicks the touch, slows the game down, get the defense set. However, i think, especially in like the first sixty minutes, i think a lotof times. Both teams are pretty happy to have a break when the ball goes intotouch. I rarely you see one team brush to a scram unless is like a minute left,so i think both teams wouldn't even mind this. I don't think it wouldreally suit one team or another, and it would just allow the game tostop at the moment. You can watch a passage of play. If there's no tries itcan go like twenty minutes without a stop and these players they're fittheir great athletes, but it's not sustainable to play a sport as intensosreglage without stoppages, so this seems to come into play. One thing itis: is it also brings in a tactical element of game management, which iactually think is really good me being like a bit of a test cricketfan and a fan of strategic sports. Like that, i i don't mind the element oftime management. I think there's some things that they got rid of in terms oftime management like kicking it dead that i think they need to stay out ofthe game because they are boring, but i think kicking for touch. I think it's avery fair way to slow the clock down. It also helps with the battle ofpossession. For example, let's look at the bulldog so next year they'll havematt burton and jake abaria's, also a really good kicker if they've beentired down to their end and they can produce a really really big kick, whichboth of those guys are really capable of doing and they can pin theopposition in their own thirty to twenty met, a line with a brillianttouch finder. I think they deserve the opportunity to catch their breath, gettheir defense set and see if the other team can break their set defence ratherthan them keeping touch and the game is going great keep, but unfortunatelythat is coming back twice as far o. So i think that should be a rule thatshould change. I don't think it'll slow the game down much at all, especiallywhen the balls in play, because it only occurs when the ball is out of play. Idon't think it happens. I think it happens, a lot less than people thinkand the ball goes over the touch line and then something else i want to seeis this one's a pretty drastic change, but i want to see six o gatine callsreserved for only only if a penalty takes place in a team's like, for example, if i'm defending myline, my twenty meter, i'm defending my trial line. If there is a penaltycommitted by the defensive team in within twenty meters of the trial outthey're defending, i think, that's when there should be a set restart. Ibelieve this was the initial intention of the set re start. I think a lot ofteams that a lot of the stronger teams what they were doing is they knew theirdefense was good. So when they were in a little bit of strife in their owntwenty metaline, they would hold down a player for a long allow themselves toset their defense and that way they...

...could slow the game down. The teamwould have to kick for touch and all of a sudden the dangers kind of gonebecause they just back themselves to tackle for six tapers so leaving thesix again there stops that from happening means the team master defendten twelve tackles at a time. However, when a team is, you know, thirty metersout from the opposition trial, and i don't think i don't think it's sixagain coal is appropriate. I don't think it's necessary. I think it justallows teams to go up and back way too easy and it stops the bit of a grindthat rug billy can get into which some people say is boring, but every now andthen you need that ten minutes in a rugby game, you need tempor. You needall right, we're just going to grind it out for ten minutes get to our fifthtackle kick see if we can win the battle of psi field position and thenall of a sudden ten minutes later, you know they're gone into and line breaks, tron the foot, that's the way rope league has been forcenturies. It's been a grind in the middle. It's never been, the oppositionhas to tack with you eighteen times in the next minute, because you get threeset restarts that marchin down the field. I know kicking for touch willalso march you down the field, but at least it allows the defense to get alittle bit of a break. They still get punished with the loss of territory andan extra six sets that it doesn't completely eliminate the chance ofdefending back pretty much and then so they might to propose willchange that. I think, would have a drastic effect on the game. I think itwould lower the margins low. The total points slightly. I think it wouldn'treally hamper the product, if anything would make it more exciting, becauseteams would be have more energy because there's a fewmore stoppages. Therefore, there's going to be bigger, hits big impact stuff like that, and, however, i dohave to agree with wan bennet. I think right now. We are unfortunately in atime where there's five or six really really good teams and there's been someteams at the bottom of the ladder for a few years. Not there's no teams at aprenatally been bad, except for made my anton the west tigers, but that isthrough no fault except their own and some pull like along the way. However, i do have to say there is anissue in the narl and i i'm not sure how you tackle this. To be honest, ithink every sport kind of faces it, but for the bulldogs and the tigers andteams like that, they often get criticized for their built inability tosign good players that really changed the fortune of theclub and the issue. Is these players? No, it's not the players fault, so thetheir teams faults on agents fault which just the way sport is so, forexample, everyone is saying the tiger should sign dal for nuka or somethinglike that from the storm. Delphini ins, a great player. I think you would makea big impact and tigers wouldn't change the team drastically holy. He would bea huge stepping stone into the right direction for the side. However, thetigers would have to pay dale fenua, almost nine hundred thousand dollars, ibelieve, to attract in there a because...

...the team is not winning up all and bethere's just like, like we're not offering much. Unfortunately, as a club,we don't have great facilities all this stuff, so i was seen in recent yearsthe world so probably had to overpay for nicor for josh ado car and otherplayers like that and yes, they get slander for these mistakes, but tobring in someone like an alum renans like a dale for neckan, you have to payclose to a million dollars which, unfortunately, these players are justnot worth that much and the good players like. I know the morestwins. They are on something like two hundred three hundred thousand dollarsin their last couple of years to play for the roosters. They were not thatfar off origin selection, they're playing for a team in a top forposition, absolute legends of the game, because they're playing in a winningteam, they were happy to take a bit of a salary cut and unfortunately, if theywanted to go to the tigers of the boards, they probably would have askedfor eight hundred a d nine hundred dozen dollars. So this is somethingthat needss to be stopped. I'm not sure how you do it. That is above my paygrade. This is just a random idea. I thought of there's probably a lot ofissues with it and it's sort of just eliminates the free market, butsomething i was thinking is there could be an independent panel that sets areserve price for each player. This doesn't have to be announced oranything, but what it can prevent is so say i don't know, let's say: delphinnugan. The independent panel discusses that del fenua is worth six hundredthousand dollars and what this would set, what i'm? What i'm thinking in myhead? Not a way for would work or not, but this is just an idea, because idon't want to criticize the game and not produce a solution. What could happen? Is you can make bracket where he can go? For so, let'ssay his reserve price is six hundred k, so a team can't pay less than fourfifty and a ten can't pay more than seven fifty k to pay this player. Thiswould prevent someone making a fatal mistake that ruins their club for thenext five years or something if they wanted to pay. Like one point, twomillion dollars it a it would also limit the advantage of great teamsgetting away with paying these players like three hundred k, because right now-and this isn't cheating. This is one of the benefits of having a great clubwith a winning culture. But if you look at the storm and the panthers and theeels- and you look at their squad of thirty and compare it to the squads ofthe bulldogs and the tigers, you kind of question: how is that on the samesalary cap? And it is because players are willing to accept a lot less toplay for a good team. So that's just something i could think of something else. This is orthes ething else you could thinkabout is compensation for player production. However, i don't think thisis really that much of an issue in the nl. I know the tigers, a produced, afair few plays in the recent years and haven't been compensated for them whenthe big teams coming and pick them up, but unfortunately, that's sort of justthe way that sport works without the...

...draft. It's very hard to think of anysort of compensation idea, because other the way other people do it asthey conversate the opposition team with a pick or a play, or somethinglike that. So yeah, i'm not sure if that's really possible, that's also itanother option, and this is sort of the inverse of this i'm kind ofcontradicting myself. But if we really really want to well, i don't i'll behonest. I don't think this is a really good idea. It's been discussed, but idon't actually think the nlist unequal. I think there's the top teams on bottomteams futat pretty regularly, but you could also do a draft which would seethe talent dispersed evenly, but once again i don't think that is too much ofan issue. So let me know what do you think about some of my opinions thereon how to fix the game this? These changes will be implemented in twothousand and twenty two, i'm not saying the game is in a shocking position. Ithink everyone is panicking a little bit. We've had a couple big blowoutsand i think we've just got a couple really really good teams this year, whoplay a really really exciting brand of foot. So i think we're got to staypatient, but i just think a couple rule tweets could go a long way to fixing itand, i think yeah. In my opinion, if you change those two two rules, i thinkwe would pretty quickly return to a great brand of footy that everyoneenjoys. So, oh yeah, let me know what you think if i'm over simplifying thematter, if you've got any other suggestions to change rules or if youthink the game should be left alone, i m moving into my predicted top eightfor the nl. It's pretty similar to what it's been in a long for most of theseason. I actually did it in a lot of predicted this year this week, there'sonly like seven or eight rounds left, so it didn't take it too long. I'vestill got the store on in top seeing their way too good got the panthers inseconds. Still then they're going to be riding there. When cleary comes backfrom his few weeks off, i think there's going to be a very, very dangerous team.Again i've got the rabbits coming in at third. Just think: they've got a softdraw coming home and they're just a very, very good side. The seagulls inforth hope hope, assuming their great injury free for the rest of the year, they're just ridiculous right. Now they put away almost every time they come upagainst. I haven't seen them play too many of the top sides since they've hitthis run in form. We saw them play the panthers early on in that their streak, and i think that's about it, but will be interested to see how they go ifthey come up against. Some of the big dogs got the eels dropping down tofifth, which is probably controversial, but they've got a tough run home. Theyplay some of the big boys again and i just think that will hurt them in thelong run. Got the roses in it sit still think they're better than the rest ofthe competition, but i think they're a little bit off that top five at themoment lacking. Well, i don't want to have a crack atsampo, but they're just lacking some experience and composure in that harvedepartment, and i think it's very noticeable times. I've got the nightsin it. Seventh now i just think they're...

...going to hit a nice run in form on theway home if they get through this origin week unharmed think they should yeah. I just see themcoming home with a bit of a wet sale. I still got the shark es in at despite adisappointing loss to the bronchos just on paper. I think their team is one ofthe best of the teams in contention for that eight spot and also they've beenin pretty good for him in the last four or five weeks, and they have a truckrecord of making finals. I think they're bad, the last two or threeseries, so i've been bit more favor in than the teams. I've just have missingout. I've got the titans and dragons on two points: less in the sharkeyfinishing in ninth and tenth respectively are so based on that. Ithink the dragon suspensions could seriously hurt them and the titansearly season inconsistencies and then four points back from the sharks. I'vegot the warriors tigers and cowboys all tied up, leaving the bottom three asthe raiders broncos and bulldogs. So let me know what you think about that.Let me know if there's any changes you would make and we will get into ourround seventeen preview not going to touch on ero fantasy this week, eventhough i hardly ever touch on- and i had a decent week this week's by weekso interesting to see how ever on goes then come in the top twenty seven k atthe moment. So, okay with that doing a lot better that on that than my atflercoach, but there's only four games this week to previous, so it will be prettyshort, manly business, the raiders. This was a bit of a rivalry a coupleyears ago. I remember dil walker. He did kick a goal after science, something like that. There's some controversial penalty after the sign hekicked a goal and then he got in the radis players and there was a bit of ascuffle. So who knows, could see some tempers flare, don't walkers, actuallyplaying at number seven dc and to obviously out for origin purposes. Sogarrett goes to full back del morkar goes to the seven karen fords captainat six going to be interesting to see how manly go. They actually won thegame before origin one when their playersmissed. They pump the cowboys by like forty or something so didn't see thatone coming but it'll be interesting to see if they can do it again. This week, raiders themselves are pretty affected by both injuries and origin. They'vegot poperye, simonson and white head all missing out, save you savage dartsat fall back, don't know much about him to be honest, but i saw that one andthat for alle plays at number six he doesn't get too many chances at theraiders, but we'll see how he goes is usually a pretty steady hand when heplayers moving into the rabbis and cowboys bene. Marshal has been pickedto start at the hooker position, which is interesting. You played a little bitof that for the tigers last year, so they'll be interested to see how hegoes. Taffy is playing full back and the full back for the cowboys is alsodejean. Ask you not sure how to pronounce that name, but some excitingyoung talent on show for both teams are the rabbit. Os they've got their usualhearts, which is going to be a big...

...factor i'll get into my tips after irun through the team changes the boldover as the roosters, the bodos gettheir players back from their covin breach, unfortunately not sure how muchthat will impact this game, but it is a brush for them. Sam walk has beenpicked, despite some calls for him to be rested for the rest of the season bysome experts. Drew hutchinson has been picked since his first game, since he'spunctured long against paramounter and locking lamb has been dropped to thebench. Sharks viso, the warriors race, walsh, cody nicaria, come back inthrough from injury. Matthew lodge also makes his debut for the warriors, starting in the number ten position and to hoo harris and chad tenson out, sadly, for chad, towns, and he looks to be out for a significant number ofweeks. After only coming to the club last week, so yeah little bitdisappointing there, the war is of building something, though i like theway. Phil gold is obviously a very, very good, listen manager, so hopefullythere's more of the fila types out there that can sort out some of thesepoor clubs, but i'm moving into my game picks. All around i've got manlybeading the raiders by twenty six points, which is much sure better theweek. That will also be the only one i'm interested in at theline. The handicap is thirteen and a half to the sea gulls i could be over.I could be underestimating the impact of no turbo and dc, but i just think itip the cowboys actually last time when the manly seals were without turbo andthey pump them by forty. So i'm going to try and learn from my lessons andalso the rains, are pretty injury and affected themselves got the rabbitohsby twenty over the cowboys just think they have still go their harves there. So it a lot of good players, camel grain alk johnson stuff, like that, that ford packs pretty much untouched. So i think that would be too strongcowboys. They were in decent form in a around magic round early in the season, but they look like their wheels are starting to slow down a little bitand. It looks like you know that top pain things not not not great for them.Bolotics a rousters. I've got the roosters by eighteen. I could see thisone being a little bit closer than people might think in a normal round. Iwould say the roosters by forty odd, but i think roses with no james todaysco, i think that's a big impact on them, so i could see being a little bit.Close bulldogs will be looking to respond from their absolute wallopinglast week, so they might be getting busy and they were actually indecentform for last week. So they'll be interesting to see and then game theround for sure sharks us as the warriors huge implications in terms ofthe battle for seventh and eighth position, the warrior sauce by one point lastweek and the sharki lost to the bronchos. So it's going to be a bigweek for both of them need a bounce back victory. I'm going to be tippingthe warriors, which is my upset of the week- i've only i've ticked them by onepoint, because i think this is a real toss of the coin. I think the sharksbefore last week were one of the form...

...teams in the competition outside of youknow around that top fall spot, however, that last lost last week was reallyreally disappointing and the warriors the one that doesn'treally stay down for too long if they lose a game one week, they're very, very likely to bounce back for the wind the next week. So i trust the warriersto bounce back. They've got some begins and race, walsh and nicaria and matthewlodge yes harrison towns it out hurts, but i think the ends out way the outthere and i'm going to say the warriors pick up and upset cora. Guess it is that strata tribally, aware of that, i always get confused with the dragon stadiums. Unfortunately,i think all these all four of these games are in cindy, so i don't thinkthere's any crowds or any of them, which is a bit of a shame or would itlike. I know it would have been a very expensive exercise, but it would havebeen cool if the niro came down to melbourne for a couple of weekends andplayed all the games here would have frothed that by anyway. I understandthat is a very costly exercise. So let me know about my predictions. Let meknow who you've gotten those four games or, if you disagree with any of me, mycalls i've been in this episode. Yeah enjoy the week i'll, be doing a nroll review. I guess early next week and also a bit of a preview before theorigin series game three. I also be having an al episode up later in thisweek. You need holidays, but yeahthanks for joining me today. I hope you've enjoyed the episode if you haveleave alike and all that good stuff, otherwise i'll catch. You next time, chees.
