Did. I guys, welcome back to the on the ball podcast, back with another footy episode. As you can see, we've got a huge absence today and that is the longtime host of the show. Don't think he's missed an episode in a hundred and fifty episodes or so, but he's he's finally, he's finally taken a day off and then he's studying for exams. So mean while are you about a step up? How's it going, mate? It's going all right, mate. Weekend was a bit tough, but it's going right now. How are you? Yeah, not too bad. Not The brightest weekend for us in terms of our footy teams, but guess we'll get into that shortly. I think we'll just kick it off get straight into the round thirteen recaps. I'll start her off with the port put our laid versus Geelong, Thursday night clash. I was very animated during this game. I had had a few cocktails. I was tweeting some great, recredible things on twitter, cop and a bit of hate. But yeah, this, this loss just cut a lot because we didn't even play bad. Our midfield stepped up, we played well. It was just purely a case of not being as good as Geelong in all parts of the ground on paper, which is not a good sign if we're trying to push for a flag. We do have a lot of place still to come back, which I'm hoping you'll help us out. But yeah, it wasn't too great. It's probably lost our hopes of the top for finish. Should still get a home final, but yeah, congrats to Geelong. I think they're looking quite unstoppable now. Jeremy Cameron is proving to be the key difference because I think he missed the first four weeks when they were two and two or whatever, and he's come back in and they've looked unstoppable. Clearly the best key for duel in the League, I would say, between him and Tomahawk. But it was good to say connor rosy finally having a good game. It's been about three years since he had a good game. So well, your tweets was about him, was it about? Yeah, Sammy Welsh isn't doing this song, but yeah, I did. I did the cane corns. Yeah, luckily I've only got ten followers on twitter, so I didn't didn't cop the height that Kane Corns copped. But yeah, any any input on that game? Do you watch it? Yeah, I was pretty and cheap, but I was obviously a huge match up. But now I just turned into a bit of a shootout, which is great for the neutrals like myself. But I think it just showed that the experience of the too forward lines. I think the cats obviously had the almost I know you talked talked about the the Juo, but you throw a gay roll in there as well and that's really experience. And I guess when Rolands firing, you know Geelong is. He's a type of player it. You know, off to long ear doing that weld, he'll have a quiet one, but yeah, they'll unbelievable. So they obviously had about twelve goals between them and that's already enough for a winning score. So I think it was just the attacking trio just sort of overpowered, not just ports defense but sort of you know, ports attacking. You See Dixon, there's obviously all strian quality, but then you've got few youngsters in George Ardis and all. I think Tom Marshall's obviously at early. But yeah, just exposing a little bit there and I think was there a bit of a bit of a size difference in the matchups on I tri McKenzie was on Tomahawk early and yeah, I guess it just set the scene really but yeah, anything to add on those matchups, because I'm bit in trade, is to yeah, the last three times we've played along, Tomahawk has had an absolute field day, whether it be on cleary or McKenzie. Song surprize that earliah spent no time on him on Thursday, especially considering Cameron was absolutely ripping him a new one up and down the ground. Yeah, one of one of Ken Hinckley's known flaws is his inability to change change up the game strategy midgame. So if we if we don't get on top of a team early, then we tend to not be able to switch it around, which is a bit of a worry. But yeah, it was, as he said, it was a great game of Footie, one of the best games of the round from a neutral standpoint. A lot of goals and both year, I'd say. Actually, yeah, yeah, it was one of the best. It was very exciting. Yeah, great to watch, but did did cut a lot as a as a die hard port supporter. HMM, we'll move on to SWANNI's Hawthorne. Friday night. I think I watched most of this game. I normally watch the swantage games because I've got about six ones in my super coach team, including Luke Parker, who, yeah, it's just ninety four right, ninety five every week, finally gets a grayed him out this week, but very poor from the Swannis this week. was very surprised about this one. Hawthorne stepped it up. John New can looks like an...

...absolute beast. I traded him in before he before he played a game, instead of Trent Bianco, which was a nice little surprise there. But what do you think about this one? Yeah, well, I was similar to you. I was thinking a few at Taco bill, but I was still able to sort of have a look across the end of the room and have a look at what was unfolding. I remember cheering for Isaac Haney kicking his gold terms of super coach and just in terms of the AFL, because found talented is and wanted to do well. But obviously missing. But yeah, and you can move. Yeah, yeah, I know he was on about twenty five. Caught a timer song. Just yea, the worst that goes down as the worst move this year for me. But yeah, I you can's full day and tackles is set the tone. Really. One of the case that in the game was the errors and Hawthorne made a modest thirty two, but swans came up with sixty, which is pretty much double and just goes to show that whatever side has the pressure on the day usually comes out on top. We usually seen that. I think I've talked about it a bit previously, but so Adelaide Oval, the crows often get a few scalps there because they just really turned it up in front of the Adelaide crowd. We saw it against you long and we saw it most recently against Melwoyne. So I think hawks is put on a similar display and I think it was just the poor conversion from the Swan's from most of their toll forward targets. Of obviously, buddy only kick the wine and just not too much else. They're really so yeah, what do you think about that game? It was obviously that type of game. I think Swan's had to lose a couple this year, given them not like a huge top four team. But I was too nice ice. She will surprised. It was against the Hawks, Bort I think. Yeah, yeah, Great. Other Swan's just looked really sloppy and like half asleep. Arguably, as you said, they are a young team. Most of their teams up and coming, so they're going to be inconsistent, but I just feel like they might have went into it a bit complacent, which costs him in the end. And Hawthorne always seemed to turn up for the SWANNY's matchup, like every single year. The swanny's going favorites in the hawks just turned up and normally beat them. But I guess it's good for hawks fans as well, showing a little bit of promise with their youngsters and especially their back line. They got a lot of young, young, exciting talent in there in cj a, scrimshaw, etc. And then with Sicily to come back next year, that could be really turned into an elite back line, certainer rather than later. But still. I will get into our ladders in a bit, but still backing swannies to make the eight. I think they'll get enough wins Rightyo. On to Saturday's action. Free I Gold Coast. Didn't watch too much of this game. I think I was out of the House. Seems like Freeo might have put on a bit of a clinic. I was expecting a close one. Do you watch it or no, I was at work. I was also out of house. Yeah, I actually ended up tipping Gold Coast just purely because of all of the outs for Free Oh. But yeah, obviously you look at the stats and it's all just gone fres way and from what I notice, obviously sewn. Darcy had another big game and we think we're going to touch on the rucks in a new segment today, but he was obviously huge and from what I know is there was a lot of this sort of mid tier players fair the ended up firing. I think James Ah had his best game for probably the club, Darcy Tucker's one that had about thirteen marks and had twenty five. You know, Josh Tracy finally is starting to not score fifteen in pickle super coach. So yeah, he would even then. Yeah, he's I don't know if what we're other HAL him previously, but I think just as a pure k for the moment he's looking all right. So yeah, it would be a bit better if you had a I guess some more AFL like surname to shout out, but because Tracy's actually my mom's name, was a bit weird to sort of follow him. But yeah, and then I guess plays, you know, like tail and demand, you know twenty two and had nine off half back and you know Brett, Buley, Colia, all these guys getting, you know, over fifteen touches. So not just say super coach, but for the team as well, it just goes to show that the gold coast travel issues just really they're just really not just cutting it away from home. They just look a completely different team. Obviously can say that about a lot of teams the AFL, but gold coast just simply aren't getting it done away from home. I don't know if it's a mental thing or you know, of the players are still pretty young to adapt to the other environments of the grounds. But yeah, it's really disappointing from so far because you can it's almost getting to the point where when they travel in state you just about bank the other team to win, which obviously we want to we don't want to see that. So yeah, it'll be a nice little challenge for them to see if they can turn that around away from home.

But yeah, what are your thoughts? Yeah, looks like it was a lot of a lot of stoppages. Both midfields seemed to dominate. Another inspirational performance from took Milla that many slope freak definitely should be in all Australian teams are. Speaking of that, I just want to mention, I'll put a lie earlier, in my old Australian team last week and he played and he played the worst game of every play. So apologies for that. He's come straight out but um, yeah, similar with Hawthorne freos backline. I think it's really good. It was good last year as well, and then with our pierce coming back in holding as a lot of news about him holding king to zero goals this week, which is the first time this season. So he's a really underrated key defender and definitely huge in for free and they're still sniffs to make the eight for sure, especially when five comes back. Righty, I will get this one. We'll get this one over and done with. I was at the Sporting Globe on a lot of beers, but I was looking over every now and then I saw the saints get up like thirty two nil and then every time I looked over, every twenty minutes it was just like Adelaid slowly clawing their way back and then when they got within like three goals, I was just like, Fuck's sake, it's gonna happen again. But I'll let you, I'll let you cover this one man. Well, for listeners, if you're if you're not watching this, you'll my realize is the first episode this year I haven't worn the Hoodie. It's come off, I'm not wearing it probably for at least a few weeks. So that's done a dusted. But yeah, it's just getting to the point where I've got, you know, a few dates for every game, but for this one I've just literally written we suck. It was like like, look, it was first of all, was we talked about porch long being one of the best games this year. This was just about the worst game this year in terms of just a neutraal fan probably. Obviously the fight back from the chrome was good, but yeah, the end of the day we are obviously Sero. We were playing some pretty shocking footy, you know. Obviously conditions are hard up there, but at the end of the day, you know, it just was not a pretty game up to watch and after, you know, being thirty thirty seven up. I feels as though a game plan sort of switched. It was more evident in the last quarter. We're up by, you know, probably about three goals or something like that. And what we tended to do, and this was obviously the reason why the dogs nearly overcame us in the elimination final last year's, we tend to just completely stopped. We just give up on attacking, we settle for the school we've gotten, try and chip it around, which isn't handy when you're the most will sorry, when you're the least skillful team in the camp, also playing in the wet Jewey conditions and there's fifteen minutes to go in the game and you're only up by about two goals, I don't think it's the smartest strategy. You probably don't need someone with a very high q to tell you that, but it's just that. But I was it. I once we were on about it was about sixty we finished on or something like that. Yeah, once we yeah, when they're about sort of a goal within that, or at least two goals within that, I thought, well, we're not scoring any more. Just s s the title. If I'd laid get it all over than they win. So obviously that's what happened. I saw it coming from a bile away. I think was about they was about fifty to about ten probably, and they kicked about a one or two goals on the crow. There were still eight dollars. If you caught up on sports been I thought I just should definitely chuck a Tener on this, but unfortunate I didn't. So yeah, obviously that happened. It was just I mean I had a conversation film my saints made so after the game and we talked about it's just this issue of play development. These players just aren't getting better and better. They just stagnating. Like players like Coffield, who had a mini break out. You last year just looked lost. Players like Josh Battle had about five touches, one kick for someone of his size. You Know Jack Lorin, he just gets blown over by the winds and always Daniel Skiers, I dam but to be fair, Butler had about ten tackles. But yeah, it's just all these type of plays that just aren't just aren't delivering and they had the capabilities to do so. Well, some of them do, but clearly not anymore. So and yeah, if been long and Jaquel any played another game for this club, then I don't know what I'll do. But yeah, it's just look, lots of people are saying we got crommed, and we did, but at the end of the day it's just, you know, the the buy couldn't have come in a better time. Just see if we can maybe chalk up a few wins. But the end of the day, now the season is yet done. So kind of tank, Harris is. Yeah, well, that's the thing. Hold the little if you never want to see your team just throwing games. To be fair. In No, I know. But yeah, at the end of the day I'm almost hoping that North Offer Jack billings eight D K years so we can get a first rounder for him. That would come after our first pick, which so we'd get like two top fives. But yeah, I don't know,...

...it's just about bit. Yeah, look, I'd love to see a lot of lists management changes, getting rid of these players are just aren't taking the games to elite status, because that's what's holding us back in my eyes. So yeah, yeah, from a mutual fan like yourself, all your thoughts. Yes, as you said, it just seems like bar steel and maybe Tim membory. I know he had a good start to the year, but it just seems like none of your players have improved and if anything, they've gone backwards. I don't know, it just seems like you guys have lost that winning culture, just like knowing how to close out the close games or something like that. I don't even know. Yeah, but yeah, I do feel sorry for you. Made every it's becoming a becoming a thing every single week now. Yeah, what do you think about the idea? I actually haven't seen it, but that mccay bump on Hunter Clark. It's smaller. There's a reason that it's it's gone to the Tribune and for a debate, so still could come off with no works. But yeah, it's hard because they're both running at full pal they're obviously both coming to completely opposite directions and Um, look everyone you obviously hunters gone for the ball and McKay, I he's gone for the bowl right up until I'd say like bill seconds before when obviously he sees a person tries to brace that's probably what he's doing, but he could he's obviously got hunter in his in his eyes and the end of the day. Only he'll know if he was trying to get hunter a go for the ball. But at the end of the day I think it's still is a footy collision. I think you should get off. I know how horrific obviously hunters injury's eyes, I'll eat he's completely fucked his jaw and he's out about eight to ten weeks. But I don't even know that. Fuck yeah, he's done a lot of damage. So at the end of the day, I think it's just this. You know, this is probably going to happen a couple times a year where it's a butt, where players going for footy and one guy comes off perfectly find the other comes off really bad. So unfortunately that was this week. That yeah, look, I think I look, I think it'd be too detrimental to penalize him for what, to penalize them at all, but even for the three weeks that they're saying, because I think that would really it's sort of put a bit of a shock into the footy system. I think plays will actually start to second guess themselves about whether it's to go for the ball because other than day, you know, hit's like these were plays are gone for ball if it turns into three week suspensions. This is their job. They're going to probably it's going to come into their mind when they're playing. Yeah, so, yeah, I. Yeah, So, if you really analyze the information like so, the the the images, you can see that like it's going for a ball, gone for the ball and last second that, you know, raises his hand to come up on me. I'm you know, I think you're everyone's just about sure. It's just to protect himself because, you know, human instincts and all that. So, yeah, that's what I think it is. And Yeah, unfortunately, you know, there was just a it was just a collision to hunters head and jaw. So, yeah, I think you should get off. Is Shocking as it is, but I just need to do too detrimental to what just to the fabric of the game if he was to get suspended just because of the mindsets that would put these players into. And Yeah, well, that because, yeah, I think it's going to come a time when, if this, if players start getting suspended for these type of things, it's actually going to really start effect in the players and how they play the game. We don't want to see that. You know, foot is all about rough and tough and we talked about how it's not skillful sport and that's because it's high intensity. So you don't lose that aspect of it. So yeah, yes, it's completely completely agreeve just freak accident from the from the looks of things, and unfortunately these injuries are just part of footy and, as he said, the best part about footy is the is the toughness and courage. So we cannot, we can't get rid of that in the game. alrighty Sunday, north gws. First draw of the season. Not sure how GWS got out of this time. I think you're and Cork are both predicted this to be a close one. I said it would be a blowout, but north turned up. I only caught the end of the last quarter, which was when gws were dominating, but I don't know, must have been a good game. Just quick shout out to Josh Kelly, who's, yeah, one of my always spend, one of my favorite players outside of port. Need just put on an absolute vintage Josh Kelly Clinic with thirty nine and two goals. Did you catch any other though? I did. I watched it all halfly because I yeah, I had about six players in this game and Kelly was my loophole so obviously turned it up. What it matter, which was awesome. But that was it was a actually a really good game and I wish it was played it a ground that wasn't blunted like his. Yea, she's just this. You know, there as some grounds that it's just difficult to watch a game of...

...a for footy. And Yeah, it's probably just a personal thing, but I hate watching the footy there. But yeah, I it was. Yeah, it was awesome game. Obviously the north turned up a Blindston just except for those last sort of five or six minutes with Daniel Lloyd. brought him into it, but obviously could only get them the two points, not the four. But it was hard to stop the mouse run most of the time during the game. You know, whole coming off halfback was he was probably best on ground to be honest, apart from Kelly obviously, so he was an animal for them. And then simp getting conto through the midfield with bulls. But yeah, it's just a bit of a lack of Judos as forward presence. Obviously they're missing Jeremy Caeron in their bit Himmelberg's playing a lot more up the ground UNOTICED, and Matt Flynn was usually the main target up forward and Clung to a few nice marks. But at the end of the day probably don't want to be relying on one of the part time rokids. So yeah, unfortunately greened just typical grand forms of one goal for so unfortunately couldn't convert. But yeah, it was it was a good game to watch and it was good to seed North showing some fight, considering plenty of people sort of lock them in for no wins this year. So yeah, I was watching a lot of players, in particularly the canes, closely in terms of super coach now, but I will touch on that later obviously. But yeah, it was a very high it was a highly super coach eving game, but yeah, it was good one nonetheless. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I traded in Arnhall this week and I've had Josh Kelly yes, most of the years. I was stoked, stoked about this day from a suit so standpoint. North's midfield seems to be getting quite good, though. CUNNINGTON and seeming a dominating each week, and I think gold stains finding some of the last year's form again so we'll see if they can win any more games. Think GWS A ten. Yeah, they are. So that's still as there are still in the hunt, but not the greatest game to let it towards that. Yeah, it's interesting when both teams just looked suicidal when the siren went, when they yeah, both through, it makes you wonder should that? Should we implementing you and you sort of even and evil felt and go. I'd actually like to see that. Not The point, but a goal would be shattering to copy rough end of that, but actually be pretty good. All right, another game of the round here, along with the poor game West Coast Richmond. Huge Win for West Coast here. I think I backs them in the tipping or back their line. So that was good and always great to see Richmond losing, even though I also had less so but yeah, classic, Classic West Coast Win at home. Huge performance from that Newi, Shannon hern, looks like a beast at the back, and then Elliott Yo's last quarter arguably won them the game in the end, and obviously Josh Kennedy as well. Any thoughts? Not Too much. I shouldn't catch I was listening on the radio for a bit towards the end, but I was out that night. So yeah, it's obviously really good to see rich and lose. It's yes, that's the best part about it. Yeah, exactly. You could tell those thirty months taken between short and Juley. So West Coast obviously allowing them to get it out of the day fifty, but setting up when it goes into the fort too, Richmond's Ford fifty. So yeah, obviously hand was obviously a big player in that. Kids of the performance he put on. But yeah, a few of their younger play Steppan our know Lukeya Woods, twenty seven touches. No one really saw that coming and how marry Ed Woods as well was really good for them down back in and that folly as well. Yeah, yeah, it looks like he's found a little bit of a role. He was like sixty points like halfway through the second for them was so ridiculous. Yeah, so, yeah, like I said, I think earlier in the season, but west coast so just got a lot of really good sort of role players and depth and that was just perfectly showcase in this game here. I think players like Josh Rotheraman all that also having really good season. So yeah, I think it was just, yeah, the fact those guys also turned up. Jack Redden another sort of thirty touches. Yeah, thirty touch performance helps that as well. So, yeah, it's lots of these guys stepping up in the absence of, you know, showy Tim Kelly and all that. And obviously Yo still probably bit sore from, yeah, long injuries had. But yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure Yo's last quarter I was like eleven touches, heaps of tackles and like sixty super coach. So that man. That means looks like he's send it on, looks like he might be back. I was I to say, yeah, I think, I think we'll just move on. I was going to say how deep there is. This a our date west coast and midfield is they got about eight blokes who can just go in there and rack up thirty touches. Probably probably partly due to that Neisse, but anyway, yeah, Monday, Monday's game. I did watch all of this. One day's Collingwood just at an emotional way for the past to go out, Buckley's lastt game. I kind of had a feeling it was going to happen...

...and like whenever you see the coaches last games or new coaches coming in, the team often comes out firing, puts on a clinic. Not even I wouldn't even say the day's looks like noticeably shit or anything like that. Think collingwood just played really well, especially down back. They were limited the day's scoring opportunities quite well and obviously Scott Pendabury with one of his career best games at his age after having a pretty average season, was great to see as well. Yeah, hundred percent, and I think they with to go rolling through the midfield now. Thirty two touches for finally delivered for them. Obviously had two scoring shots as well, but obviously both behind. But just goes show that maybe you know he's obviously still young and got all his potential ahead of him, but hopefully he can stream them all together because he's an obviously a huge talent and looks like the Arcy Cameron is. That could form at a little partnership that many teams do with that those two Ruckman set up the well. One rests forward and the others obviously in the rocks. I hopefully grunby most of the time in the Rock and Cameron can swing through there, but players that tall for because obviously bag four goals, so that was really handy for them. Tell you what I reckon. I Luke Jackson and James Jordan might be the too front runners for the rising star this year, though, two of the day's best players, and they looking like absolute beasts just like that. All the essendent. Fans of just screamed out in discuss because, yeah, I've talked about Nick Cocks h James Jordan's just really underrated. He's just gets an yea every single week. But yeah, I think that'll do it for our fair around thirteen recap. We'll move on to our ladder predictions. You can go first, mate, just outsi hats already. So I've looked at like the future go obviously. Sorry, the rest of the fixtures for these teams coming up and given that, I've decided, I've changed up the top for not partly because I'm just gone for the same one every week, but because I just I don't I see this team losing one, two games Max the rest of the year. So I've got him in on top, and that's actually Brisbane. Yeah, they've got the easiest fixture in the top eight, or probably even the rest of the come. Honestly that I only sort of saw them having one or two challenging games for the rest of the year. So obviously they're hitting some form locking eels back. So hopefully you can turn it on. So yeah, I've got them finish on top. Obviously doubt of them slightly earlier in the year, but probably because I'll playing tougher opponents, to be truthfully honest. And Yeah, obviously love it when the lines get up because it's not it's not like this stereotypical sort of Richmond West Coast type of thing. Brisbane obviously haven't progressed to a grand final since we can remember. Sob You all and to see how deep they can go. I've actually changed up again. I've got you long now in at second. I've probably got this one on like percentage or something, but to long of obviously got the extra avenue to go now with Jeremy Cameron, and when that trio fires it's really hard to stop. So I've got them in at too. Obviously, with danger fuel coming back, there's teams just going to get better and better and hopefully their past that sort of boring forty stage that they were at last year in the style of this year. And then I've got Melbourne, the dogs, rounding out the top four. I think that's going to be the way it stays. Obviously get probably going to be a bit of change in that order, but I think those will be the top four teams. They got poort and at fifth just be seeing our link. Just his form against top eight teams is still a bit of a worry. I think we touched on it probably a few episodes ago. Other got west coast finishing in it's six, Richmond seventh and Sydney Eighth. I just can't I don't know, I'll I'd love to see Sydney finish higher than that, but I just I can't put Richmond Eight. I just know they're too good for that. But obviously they are sliding and I think they're obviously obviously those players are getting a bit old and it's been autome dynasty for them and if there's one lesson we've learned over the last sort of for five years, is don't Count Richmond out. So lots of people are talking about is this the end? Is this the end? I'm not going to say it yet because just how many times I've bet against something they've proved me wrong or all this and that. So yeah, I mean I'll leave it at seven and and I can definitely see them still going deep into finals because the obviously September great, but this is probably the most vulnerable they've been since about two thousand and seventeen, I think it's fair to say. Yep. Yeah, so, as a few of US know, I've been a bit biased on my ladder predictions this season and I'm going to I'm not going to do it this way. Oh No, I can't. I'll bring myself to do it after after Thursday nights display. But yeah, this top four is just so tight, like it's so hard to split them. Wouldn't be surprised if they...

...all ended up on the exact same amount of wins. But I'm just going to I'm going to keep Melbourne on top. I just think they're while they're probably the most inconsistent of that big for a, there they have the most wins at the moment, with a huge percentage still, and they've just shown that they can beat the good teams on any given day, which is very valuable. That would definitely rather be in their shoes than a sidelike port who beats the beats nine to eighteen by a hundred and twenty in Carbet a top ID team. I'm going to I've got the bulldogs in its second, to long. Third. I would not be surprised if to long actually won the minor premiership. They've they looked really good Thursday night and their team on paper, on paper, is just ridiculous, like their list is insane. If they don't ye like they're coming right up to the end of the window. We know that. But if they don't win it this season they'll be. There should be some head scratches going on behind the scenes there. And then Brisbane. Fourth, port fifth, huge teer break after the top for but I'd still put poured in at fifth. Do you have them at first? Last week I did. I said provided with gates along prod of a bait. Okay, hadn't. We hadn't pretty easy fixture after that, but I just can't say it's doing it anymore and our percentage is a lot worse as well. Yeah, I've got Richmond at six still for the exact reasons you just mentioned. You can never count them out. You just know they'll hit form. They're definitely the most vulnerable they have been over this dynasty looking a lot worse. We're not a lot worse, but worse than each of the past four years. But they'll still they'll still do damage come finals. West Coast seventh. They still haven't shown they can win away from home. We know how well they can play optics, but they're going to drop. They're going to drop games away. And then I've still got the swan. He's in there to round at the eight. Pretty Stock Standard top eight from me. But yeah, any further comments or should we head into the next segment? Yeah, I don't. I don't see those top eight teams changing now. It's obviously been that way for about six or eight weeks now. So obviously the orders going to switch and the interesting to see where everyone finishes. But yeah, can't see free are really going into the top eight there and then gust of the other's hand. But yeah, Anste the other of them really make here. So yeah, it'll just be a matter of who finishes. Well, Yep, it's and especially after they're drawing its north. You can't be drawing it north if you want to make the top eight. As as the giants right, we're gonna we're going to do our top ten Ruckman in the AFL rankings. We're going to do we're going to rank each team's top Rackman as a top eighteen, but we've decided to just go pure top ten Ruckman, with a few honorable mentions, and this year as well. Yet to clear up anymore any confusions, just this year's form. So Yep, for you before the North Fans, actually north if don't have any fans, so we don't have to worry about that. But we'll start with some honorable mentions. I'll kick it off. I've Got Matt Flynn in there. I know he's kind of he's hardly he's hardly even his teams first rackman anymore, but when he when he was playing as the Ruckman, which he has done for more than half the season, he's actually been really good for them and honestly near the top ten. He's been putting out great numbers and he's Pretty Handy's a key Ford as well, as we saw on the weekend. Stephen Martin I've got in there. Probably. I mean he's he's definitely not a top half Ruckman, but you can see the impact he's had on the bulldogs this season, just allowing their midfield to finally get some first use of the ball. Doesn't really offer anything around the ground but has had a big impact on his team. And finally, this bloke's probably not deserving of an honorable mention, but mark pittnet is a bit of it. He's a bit of a meme after the last season, but he has improved. He's he's improved a lot over the offseason. Far Better stats this season, getting a few more touches. I mean last season the add games are get like three touches and he absolutely ruined my room a super coach season that year. I've traded him in after his tondred and forty S. yeah, he has improved and I don't know, he's just a average Rupman who has played every game and been serviceable. We'll go, we'll do your honorable mentions and then we'll start at ten and work our way up. Too Easy, M Yeah, I've definitely got flee in there. Obviously can't just can't fit him in there because probably missed too many games with the giants obsession with Mumford, which is kind of fair enough. I think all about five and I with him and then all on five without him. But yeah, Flynn's exactly the type of player I'd want saints to go for because he's obviously shown so much since his debut game and I feel so I would be the perfect replacement for riders that...

...sort of rock forward swing role because he can obviously play in the rocket down afford it looked really good up forward on the weekend and probably had been mccay for a lot of the game. So He's in there obviously putting up a lot of great numbers. But yeah, I'll be interesting to see what happens to the Rock Berry go around this year, whether he sticks with them. Probably will, unfortunately, but wait and see there. And Yeah, Pitt and Ay as well, obviously very serviceable for them. Obviously they're both preferred Rachman at the moment. Stephen Martin's obviously been good for the dogs, as he touched on. So yeah, I've got about the same there no one else really to add there. You know the like. I'm not going to bother throwing in the likes of Andrew Philips or anything, but yeah, I was tremthed that. Yeah, I don't know if I could do that, but I've got patty rider and there I haven't managed to fit him into the top ten because he's missed probably a couple too many games. Yep, and he's in having those best on ground performances as he's had last year or year before. So I've just had to leave him out. But those honorable mentions. Yeah, Yep, if we were including last season and previous seasons, I probably would have had patty rider in my top ten. But just numbers. Numbers haven't been as good this season. Problem might be a bit due to the saints being down, but he's getting old as well. To be fair to the great man, I reckon. We rotate, so you just spoke. Go One by one in it. Number Ten, I've actually Gone With Matt Flynn's counterpart in Shane Mumford. Hasn't played many games, but when he has his surprisingly been really good, especially to all the start. It was getting huge hit out numbers and taking big clunks around the ground as well. And, as he said, five and no, five and no with Mumford, five no without him, or something like that. So he has had a huge impact on the giants and they have looked a much better team with him in there. Even though Flynn's been good as well. Yeah, a great of you obviously notice his sort of bulloking work around the ground. Is Ferocity. You know. It's not really the style that many Ruckman play at the moment. However, I've gone is going to be controversial. I've gone with your boy Scott lie set just hasn't played enough games to work as way up ahead of the guys ahead of him, but has obviously been very good for them. And obviously Peter Adams and all that have gotten a bit of the light and the fit last few weeks is obvious. have been very promising through there. But yeah, it look if I said it played just about every game this year he'd be in there, but obviously hasn't. So has found his way in at ten, but he's obviously better play than that. But yeah, it'll be good to hopefully get rid of all the dead weight Ruckman I've got in that, sorry the good Ruckman, the deadweight teams I've got coming up here, and to seely set progress all the way in September. But yeah, yet fair enough. Unfortunately, big Scotty can cust me. Henry got done for four weeks with it's awful stiff, but um in at number nine. I've got the Nank from Richmond. He's huge for them. Obviously nowhere near the hit out abilities of some of these other big men, but he is arguably one of the best ruckman around the ground. Takes huge intercept marks, gets a lot of possessions, really mobile. You know you see Rachman that just look like they've just been pulled off the off the street who don't know how to kick a Footie, but nake looks semichordinated and shows it with his with his numbers and work around the ground. Yep, I've also got naken at nine as well. He's obviously one of those Ruckman that you know they're not going to get the same numbers, is gone and grunting all that, but in terms of Richmond and Richmond's game plan and the way they play, I think he's really good for them. Obviously the way he gets around the ground suits they're fast attacking game style really well season, racking up about fifteen touches about every week and he's often down back, which is not taken huge in set marks, which is not a thing that many Rockman do in the AFL or least they do. But you don't. I don't notice it as much as I do with name, I think thanks probably one of the most prominent key defensive intercept marks that I've seen, least some recent years. He's been really good for them. Obviously Richmond got him for cheap as chips, so that's a very handy pick up for them. Is obviously contributed a lot for them over the last few years. But just another serviceable year for Nank and is a big reason why they've obviously done so well, and obviously with child arm controls. Sorry, Soldo missing. A lot of the weights been put on him, but yeah, obviously just done really well for them. Yeah, yeah, that's probably his best trait, his ability to get behind the footy and take into set marks, which adds to Richmond's already elite defense. I remember when we played them I'd laid overly took about six Inter set marks, all from all from our defensive kick in.

They just mark it outside there attacking fifty, which made me hate him for a couple of hours. But eyss a good bloke. In at number eight I have got Riley O'Brien, who probably should be higher than this but just did not. Didn't have a good start to the year. He's finding form now, but we all know how good he is and it's going to have a huge career. He's still young. Like the Nank huge work around the ground, can take big marks, get behind the footy and with an added with an added you know, tap tapping, hit out ability, which is obviously the main role of a Rachman. But I just think he hasn't hasn't been his best season this year so far, but he has been building so I expect him to increase in the power rankings in weeks to come. Yeah, hundred percent agree. I've actually got team English who is obviously we all know about him, obviously still developing a lot in terms of his body and his game but because of that spends a lot of time up forward and obviously because that's a bit of a it's a bit hard to judge on where you put him in the list on this list, but I've got him in here because, you know, obviously sometime the future he develops his body. Will probably take a little bit longer than others to develop it, but these ability to play up forward has been really handy for for him and kick a few bags because at that height and that sort of, I guess, forward craft that he's got arm is a real weapon for them. So he's really, really talented because at that height when you can obviously, like you mentioned, picking Rockman off the straight, he's still been a very nice kick on him and very good, like you. So yeah, in terms of a ruck when who are all pretty usually pretty dopey, he's actually looks like he's a really nice pick of the bunch there. So I've got English in it eight. Like I said, Pretty Hard S. it's the term because he'll be obviously missed a few games this year. So it's a bit of a controversial pick, but I just think just going forward, he always looks like such a threat in those marking contest up forward, I'd say English is just about one of the best in the AFL are taking those even given his sort of light stature. But yeah, the end of the day I'm going to leave me a yeah, Tim English is who I want Peter Adams to try and become, ultimately become better than. Obviously not there yet, but they've got a lot of few similar qualities. Ladams is probably better in the Ruck, but English definitely a better mark, better key forward number seven. Few North fans out there actually, you'll probably be disappointed these. Is Slow, but it hasn't had the best of seasons, especially, you know, compared to his use your standards. But Todd Goldstein had a great game on the weekend. Has Been, has still been, you know, one of the Best Rackman in the league. But yeah, I think it's just been an average year for him and there's just been other blokes that have been slightly better. So the men's in at seven. For me, Yep, what the exact same one as well. We're Goldie at seven. Obviously just getting pretty olds. His numbers are just a bit on the declining side of things, as they are for obviously a lot of Ruckman that are getting towards the end of their careers. But it's obviously been huge player for them in the entirety of his career and still managed to get really good numbers in the middle of the contest clearances and all that. So he's obviously been a huge player for them. But yeah, like I said, coming to the end of his career. I remember there was come Aber, what year was one in two thousand and fifteen, while he was Goldie and Steph Martin for Brisbane had two of like the best super coach seasons the modern era, or at least it was a for fantasy. I remember they they would consistently clock up s every game. So the twilight of his career he was obviously an absolute animal. Still still is a very quality player, but yet coming to the end of his career, so to commit at seven at least it you know, at his age, to get to seven's obviously still a really good feat. But yeah, yeah, YEP, exactly right. And we do love go he's a fan favorite. I think it's kind of he's one of those players where you just can't hate him. I don't know if it's because of his head or his or his name like that. Just seems like one of those not nice guys, great blokes, so good, good on him for that number six, I've actually gone with my boy here, Scott, last set. This is definitely higher than probably any nonport fan would have him, but I get to watch him every week and he's just huge for us, and especially this season before he got suspended. He's just he's really good around the ground, really mobile, can take marks, can get twenty touches, but he's also really improved his head outs over the last two years especially, and he you know he can. He contends with, you know, Grundy and stuff. Doesn't really doesn't get beaten too badly. He would be like thirty two...

...and twenty six or whatever. So he's really important and you can I know we're missing butters and all that lot, but he's definitely been the biggest absence for us this season. We've gone to we've pretty much gone to shit ever since he's been out and Laddam's hasn't even been that bad in his in his spot, to be fair, but it's just a huge, too huge out for us and will be good to get him back this week. Just touching on laddams, I need to I'd need to bring in the well, it's to the perfect try that I want to do. I need to bring it a for it's about four forty K and there's just not many options at all and I looked at ladder as I thought well, but then obviously not Scott List was coming back, so they got rid of that plan. But yeah, I wish he could. Liset could just, you know, do an ACL or something at training tomorrow and that was sold. My sufcase Tay, but Laddam's a genuinely be a top six forward. If, if, that happened. Yeah, if, yeah, if you played number one rock. But yeah, it's all. I love the enormous difference between if LICEN's in there and if he isn't. Yeah, between lambs, has some foremans. But yeah, and number six, I've got Riley O'Brien. Obviously had a poor starts the side of the season, but he was playing under an injury cloud and he seemed to have gotten over it now, so that's very handy for him. He's obviously been a huge play for in the last couple of years since he broke out and became the preferred Ruckman over Sam JCUBS. And just, yeah, huge work around the ground, takes lots of really good marks in contest and all that. And Yeah, Tolim like, like we said about gold, he's a huge fan favorite the great man, probably because of his head as well. But yeah, gets down back, gets Ford. Obviously not the most fluent kicking style, but at the end of the day here's an animal. And Yeah, it's deserves to be number six, given he was one of those types of Rahman that could easily have been chopped at any any time before he sort of leapt down onto the scene. So it's good to see those type of players come through and formulate really promising careers. But I'm yeah, it's good to see these out of that injury cloud now and playing his best footie because, yeah, like I said, he's just a quality player. When he said his best. Yeah, definitely a good player and he's going to be an elite wrapman in his prime. In at number five. I knew this guy had been good, but when I looked at it, when I look through the stats, I was like, Holy Shit, but sewn Darcy has just been absolute animal for free. Oh he's he's averaging like a hundred and ten super coach or something like that, which is genuine elite numbers. But Um, yeah, you can tell. You can tell the impact he has on the Games. He's he's a huge, huge man, wins most of the tapouts and he's around the ground. Is really improved this season. You can take Marxie and get the ball. He just has a massive impact for free. Oh Yeah, when he's not out there, the definitely a fart worse side. One of the most improved players in the camp this season. A hundred percent agree. I write them that much. I've got him higher than that. So at the moment of actually got Tom Hicky and at five. They were tight for me. Yeah, that was a very tight call. We've obviously got the top three the same the same three plays. And Yeah, four and five with their own category. It's hard to split them. But I've got Tom hikey and at five. There's obviously been a revelation for the swans this year and you know, as a past saints player, it's it's good to see these guys getting opportunity, given they're absolute spuds on our least. But he's obviously been really good for the swans and is work around the ground and all that's been awesome. You know, every time he was one of those plays, every time he got the ball, you know you'd put your hands in your head thinking, ill, shit, what's gonna do now? But yeah, this is look, he's obviously been really good for them and had that miraculous recovery from my injury. I think paying out, one of our mates said he's used about three or four trains or topic you to see you because of it. But yeah, he's obviously been awesome this year's great to see him thrive in that New Swan's environment and just sort of revitalize, revitalized his career. I use if he's if it was a bit more popular, he'd also be one of those fan favorites like O'Brian and Goldie, and this time it was definitely because of the pill. Yeah, he's he's been a very solid player, so worthy of a top five spot for this year in terms of the RUPPAN. Yeah, yeah, definitely a gree with the the fame fan favorite call. He's got one of them. One of the funnier heads in the AFL. I'm obviously I've obviously got them. At number four, he just picked Shawn Darcy. For me. I think Darcy's arguably a better numbers this season, but I think just the impacts Hicky's had on the swan as this year, if you take him out, I mean I don't think they're they're in the top eight. He's been one of the best players and probably up there in the best and fairest with calorn mills and maybe a couple of others. But yeah, he's just been huge, which is good to see. Do you know if he. Did he play in the grand final West for West...

Coast or did he not? Way, because not know. He was voted mass that wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, like she don't know. Hickey was on the list. That Pole, wasn't it? He might have made, but you know it was. Yeah, fought. He was the one in there. Yeah, I can remember which year he got onto the eagles. Yeah, he he might have went the following year actually. Yeah, but anyway. Yeah, so you've got darcy it for. I've got Darcy it for. I'm never saying game of thrones, but I think many people have touted him as hod or, I think you pronounced it with him up right now. Yeah, it's Hod. I think he got drawn comparisons in his debut game. I remember his day game. It was against delong at GM HBA and it was a bit of a blowout, as you'd imagine. I think Freyer or a bit worse back then. But elling, he crushed the hitouts on debut record by about more than double. Just came in as that number one rock. He could tell this guy was an absolute based in the rock and it was just around the ground what he can do. But he's clearly worked on that and he's clearly a much better play because of it and is work up forward as well as been huge for them. So I think that's going to be a nice little partnership Darcy and Tracy going forward for the dockers. Yep, yeah, Darcy's gain that rock forward status in April fantasy was been handy. But yeah, he's obviously been a huge player for them this year and he's just he's really nailed on that consistency. I mean, if you look at the numbers this it's every week now, which is what you want from your Ruckman. You don't want them sort of getting beaten every two or three weeks. You want the consistent players in the eds doing their high yards. If they're not winning the contests in the Rock you want them around the ground, maybe kicking a couple of goals. So that's exactly what he's doing and, as just stamped himself in there, is their main rock for the next sort of decade. So it's been awesome for him and the docks as well, because they had a bit of had about three or four Rockman in contention for that this year who are all probably at the right age to get that spot and obviously Darcy's taken it with both hands. So it's been awesome to see him do that. For the docks. Yep, it's been huge. He's a he's an absolute gun. Three hour making a habit of developing some absolute goliaths in there in their rocks. Yet so on to the big three too. Clear top three. Ranking them was pretty tough. I think it kind of depends what you want in a ruptman because they're all slightly different. But I've gone with Roadie Grundy at number three. I just I'll speak about nick NA now. I just think his what he brings, is slightly more significant and important the outcome of a match then grundy. Obviously depends what you want Addie Ruckman. What's what situation your teams in. But just what KNICK KNACK? When you take Nick Naw out of West Coast, it's just their whole different side. He just gives them, gives their midfield as first use every time and they just keep kick goals out of the center bounce, especially Optus, like no man's business, and he kicks goals as well himself and gets clearances. So yeah, but Grundy obviously absolutely done arguably the most mobile Rackman in the league. Gets the most disposals out of all them, clearances, tackles, just does everything. Most most versatile Ruckman in the COMPI's Lee. Yeah, have to agree. I've also got grundy in at three. Yeah, his ability to get around the ground and, you know, rack up twenty, sometimes close to thirty touches game is really vital for them and obviously his work in the rock contest is obviously superior and you know it takes really good marks around the ground. But yeah, like you said, I've got obviously the other two ahead of him just because of yeah, like you said, Nick Nats just the impact on a game, and a big game is huge and just about the only play in the comp that can do that and then gone. I we you know, something needs to be said there. Just his ability to do just about conqu every market comes to him and taps about every ball that gets thrown into his leading midfielder is a second to done. So yeah, yeah, I've just got those two guys ahead of Grundy because obviously, at the end of the day, you do you know, all those obviously extra sort of two thousand and twenty five touches of vital for your Achman. But the end of the day it's it's a difficult thing put it because obviously what you're upman getting higher disposed and numbers, but you'd rather your Ruckman have the qualities, I'd say, of gone and Knick Nat more so than you're rock when getting two thousand and twenty five touches, if that makes sense. So yeah, it's obviously got. They've all got uncanny abilities, but in their own respects. So I'd rank the other two over Grundy's. That that makes sense. That's why I've got him in at three. Yep, I agree. Knick Nad and gone, especially Nick Knack, just their ability to make their midfields that much better.

He's probably something for the best way to put it, probably something that Grundy doesn't quite have. We we has it, but just not to the same extent. Yeah, I've got nick NAT to gone one. We did you have the opposite or no, I had Nick Na to one as well. Yeah, I see, Gordon's just an absolute animal. Just yeah, I mean just around the grounding, you know, just every time it gets put on his head he takes it. So I mean that's probably the deciding factor for me. Obviously Dick. That's huge out of that center bounce ball laps. But yet the end of the day I think gone's just it's just an absolute animal for them around the ground. I don't feel too many people we differing with that beast either. Think obviously they can have the big three, but I think, yeah, gone and Nick Na think it's going to be the most common order. Yep, YEP, agree, they're right. I so good little segment there. Will move into a little bit of super coach Chat. I record actually just quickly. Honestly. Yeah, I'll ask you a quest. You if you're the COLLINGWOOD least management. We always talk a lot about these sort of ruck scenarios and in terms of how much they're worth, and I'm a big I think we had this similar question the potty couple months ago, probably Hammer, and he said, you know, what's your call in the rocks and I said, you know, they're my most important players on the ground and all unds and I laughed at the critics of the rucks. But yeah, would you have paid grundy the same amount of money that as the pies did, considering they obviously had to laugh offload two players, trouble and Stephenson. Yeah, would you have paid grundy that amount? Given they're also still in financial troubles, as has been documented, and they're probably going to hit it again this offseason? Would you have paid grundy the same amount or would you have let him all? Yeah, that's a tough one. I think in hindsight you'd probably have to say that you wouldn't do it, just because of what's actually happened to them, having to let go of those players, as he said, and just coming right out of finals contention, which is a bit unfortunate. But at the time it was just after that lost that grand fine, or right, it was after two thousand and eighteen. I mean they probably just thought they're probably just doing everything they can to try and secure that premiership, which is fair enough, but in hindsight I'd probably say not. Yeah, have to agree with you on that one. Yeah, like, as we've seen, you can you pick off a pretty good Ruckman for not much at all, whether it's through the draft or from another list. So yeah, yeah, I think I'll obviously very desperate to get that flag, but at the end of the day, given it's meant that they've lost to law Stephenson, Tom Phillips and bubled by sounds are they're not out of it yet. So, yeah, in hindsight, given they almost started a mini rebuild after it and he's take up a lot of cut space. Yeah, I would have done it either. Yeah, yeah, yeah, like it's wonderful thing. Those are the troubles of being a list manager. But yeah, well, we'll get into bit a super coach. Firstly, we'll go or you score this week I got one nine, six nine. Oh, I got one hundred and eighty three. So that would have been a rank increase few as well. They're right. Yeah, I jumped up eight hundred and ninety, but it's this week that I'm pumped for. I'm going to rise a few more, hopefully. But yeah, yeah, you're mentioning prepody that you'd planned for the plan any simms the Internet round for him by yeah, everyone's saying I got about eight or ten plays of my other in my group chating like I'm chilling here. Projected over like about two thousand and fifty and I'm ready. But yeah, Cork was saying that more. I think it was mos had like seven players or something. Isn't it a strike? Yeah, that's dire. Yeah, I moved up six our seven hundred and sixty two spots. Sit In that twenty four hundred, which is lovely. Not a bad I mean considering the start. I'm not like that satisfied with it, but I'll take the good week and it's not the worst spot to be in. Obviously yourself. Yeah, in it, three hundred and five, six two. It's more just about long term. Yeah, my team, I conceived a bit of trade the start of the year, whereas everyone else sort bit through them, but I've been them. Yeah, exactly. So I've conserved but yeah, I've used all. I've used basically every single one I can and the loss or couple of months. But yeah, I'm striking out. The teams just about there. So yeah, yeah, I've got I'M gonna have to use all four trades this week to field eighteen, provided, and that's provided Lucky Jones and the Essen and forwards don't get dropped or maddage. Jones had an absolute shocker, so I'm not confident he keeps his spot. But my team is pretty much full promo now. I've just got like imp F six and creeps. M hopefully I'll be able to upgrade them. But teams not looking too bad.

To be fair. That's lovely. On all the trades looking like well, actually Cher and Luke Parker finally fucking them off. They have been absolutely disgrace. Or especially nice little stiffaturel especially chair off. He didn't even make me any money. I'll pick him up for like hundred K and he just stayed there. I don't know what's and then the week after I got him the news comes out that he's unhappy at free hour once, once, come back to Melbourne or whatever. So that cut. But I'm looking at getting Walsh and another midfield. Are Looking at Mitch Duncan or merit or Tom Mitchell, one of those guys. I can't afford the bottom polly's and parishes, unfortunately. And then a forward. I'm liking the look of Kyle Langford, but you and another good mate, Fitzye, both don't write Langford as a player and are reforming him. Apparently that's all feel at last, because I'm a similar boat and I do write Lengford. I just I'd actually, I didn't say anything. I don't write lengthfort. I just first of all, I look through twitter and saw some he plays snot players. Sorry, fans had been using as the whipping boy last few years. But it's more so the fact that they I think, Devin Smith coming back this week and they're going to get she'l and about three weeks. I think it's just it's at this time of the year when we're getting into single figure trades, I don't want to breathe. It's yeah, I'm really tossing up whether it's a bring in someone that's gonna get rotate a little little bit more through that midfield in the coming weeks. But the end of the day, they've had a few players roll through the last few weeks and Lankford still scored well, so I'm kind of hoping. I yeah, I don't know. I'm on the side of this point because it's currently I've got three fifty two K in the bank. Can down grade pulled to a rookie. So that free time about five hundred and fifty K to upgrade the likes of Jordan, meccreary and fucking heeny. It was the worst trade in yeah, that's The Times worse and are actually yeah, exactly, could have had length. Could have picked Lankford over him, but I was yeah, I didn't. I hadn't said enough of LENGTHORD, obviously. So, yeah, I'm in a similar boat. I think it's a nice little discussion for this week about which midfield is to bring in, because if you don't go for that sort of top tier price of the parishes and all out of the world you're looking at. The main ones are Oli wine, Sound Walsh, the ones you said of Zarah and Tom Mitchell. That's Saber spoke as well. I'd throw in there. I was boake as well. Yeah, probably not human cluggage and not danger at the moment. I'd probably still clear if Duncan if I was on, if I'm honest, but break crouch I'd go for but he has the buy, obviously. So I was. I was, believe me. I'd locked in Welsh into my team every single plan I did and involved him. But I don't know if it's something I should be too worried about. We should be too be worried about. But he's playing GW has twice in the run home. He's got two board this week and he's also gone in round twenty three, which is grand final week, and that is telling off because exactly because, first of all, he's obviously what is? He's a he's age, he's two thousand and twenty one. He's his third year. He's never caught the tag before. We've seen what happened to braysure when he cops his first tags. Yeah, and still happens. He's obviously a young body. So the likes of the boys ten years on him, and this is all under the assumption that the ball goes to him. Could very well go to Patrick crips. But I think it's getting to the stage we've got a tag while show over him. Now got to stop training whilst like a kid, because he is done thirty every game and he is a gun. So I'm really sort of tossing up what to do, because my debate at the moment is him or once is the main one. And I've looked at wine. He's obviously been huge the last sort of month. Obviously two scores of a hundred and thirty and a hundred forty. But I'm just sort of a bit edgy on if he goes back to his, you know, round one hundred eighty performances where he got one, one hundred forty and then just to lone hundreds in the rest of sub hundred. So yeah, I don't know if you can give some inside into that, but yeah, I'm just sort of tossing up, as I'm sure many other people are as well, and how to finish off the midfield which one to go for. So I don't know if there's anything you know, support supporter about wines and whether I should pick him or not pick him. I've got some advice there. For what I based it off? Actually Got Travis Boke last week over him, based on the fact that wins is having a care rear best year and Brown low contention year and was only averaging a hundred and four, and then Bokey is having arguably a Dan year and was averaging a hundred ten and he's off the by so had it got a chance to rest up. So, especially given his K cheaper,...

I'd go bokey. Not Going to lie that the bare comment has put a spanner in the world. It's a yeah, it's not pretty. Spit not especially he's got him twice. We have seen dubor put on some forward tag as well. So we might go to start of Dockerty, but I'd probably say probably go to Walsh. Yeah, it's a huge fan of work because he's obviously got potential be a top eight mid so it's really annoying. And unfortunately wines plays first, so you can't see whether you know, you can't see the second before the game whether do wors running to Welsh or not. But hopefully, baby, I just can get some insight into what's going to happen, as I made some help. But I'm just, yeah, there's a few combinations. Looking at you know, looking at likes of going for someone cheaper so I get a better promo, so likes of Dan Houston and, you know, someone like Harrisy Andrews or some of that. In defense, I'm just, yeah, just a bit stuck and I'm just not sold lengthend. So it's been a annoying it's a little Um, it's a little negative that I found in this whole beauty of having fight and K to up grade a couple of players. But yeah, it's stuck on to do but yeah, yeah, yeah, with Langford I'm probably just trying to send it because I'm at the point of the year I'm just just going high risk, I reward. I think, I think even with she'll back. I think there's still a spot in the rotation. I don't think Dev Smith will play in there. If he does, then Langford's fucked. But he just got suck. That's a huge up side because I think if he plays in there he can average up two hundred and ten, which we've seen over the last couple weeks and the end of the last season two. But anyway, yeah, it's a quick shout of Tommy Hymen as well for saving us all fucked up. If you still trading out this week on? No, that was another. That was another. Yeah, that sucked back. So you're going to you're going to keep him or get rid of him? Yeah, he's on. Yeah, now he's him and I think Murphy's going to have to stay as my day seven and eight cover. So yeah, it look looks good. Tommy Hi'more is probably overtake a coffeel for intercepting marking role. So he just hopefully stamped his job security now a little bit more than previously. Coffeel just looks like a lost player. So those that have him, I would advise getting rid of him because, or at least yet, because I think his job securities a lot higher now. He is obviously a mature age recruit, so he's not one of those eighteen year olds that you need to worry about. Obviously only one week in, but I think he's really sort of stamp that job security. Well, yeah, I watched him last week come off the bench and score like six, but I'm pretty sure is yeah, it's me. Was He playing forward? Was Playing? Are you started in defense as a lockdown, gave way pretty to freeze and then, I think, yeah, then he played forward for about a quarter in a bit and didn't not at some point it was rolling through the midfield. So yeah, I think it was a bit it was a bit of a road call from us, but yeah, like, yeah, we found like that's how cal Wilkie came into the team for us. Came in as an intercepting marker and is now come in and being a really well, at least one of the few plays that I'll still rate the saints. A really underrated lockdown key defender is allowed Tommy him or to come through as an interceptor. But yeah, he's hopefully stand this job security and honestly, Yep, all right. Well, all the best for this week. Mate in supercoach I hope you can. Hope you can get a dub rise up the rankings. We'll finish off here with a we did this last week. Few Quick Fire Sports Bet line predictions, so I'll just I'll get him up here. You can't as well if you want. will start ups with a sweet but yeah, not many games, but quite this way. Will start off with too long doggies. Believe this is a simmons to long, the long arm minus seven point five. which way you learning? I'm liking to long in terms of the tip. So I'll back him to win by more than eight points. Yep, I tend to agree there. I reckon. They'll, they'll get it done. They're looking they're looking scary at the moment. After say, Gold Coast, Port Adelaide in gold coast plus seventeen and a half for Goldie. Yeah, I'm also back in port to win by three goals there. Yep, Goal Co Star on a top at team. So could probably back us into yeah, beaten of fair amount. Three goals isn't much. They we'll get that done. North Brisbane. I think this is. I don't know where this is a they. I think it's Bible and stone again. Right and they have a thirty three and a half point handicap. MMM, I'M gonna go bridge. I'm going Brizzy to go north here. We saw it ha happened last week and I can't remember the last time Brisbane played there. So I would have probably been against Hallthorn. But yeah, I'm like a...

North Fair I think. Obviously play that ground pretty well compared to other teams. Fair enough. That one bit me on the ass last week. It probably really again this week. But I'll just cut can't say north contending with the lions giants, carton giants minus eight and a half at Sydney showground. This is tough one. Just want to flip with a coin. Yeah, that's very hard. The feeling, Carlton, just have to yeah, you get the feeling. Culton have to win a game sooner or later. Like it one of these type of games, I mean. But I'm still going to go Jil us. Yeah, like Matt Flynn might kick like four goals or something. Yeah, I think if I just go with the gut feeling, I just I can just see the giants winning by more than that, to be honest. Yeah, how and just start cutting it. Yeah, and it is at the in Sydney, so that's a big advantage. And lastly, hawks bombers, hawks plus eleven and a half Aurora stadium. Is that Tassi? I think. Yeah, it's Tasi as well, so we know how well they can. They play that as well Hawthorne. So yeah, any other ground in the world I'd be going Essendon in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure about this one. This simes a toughie, as we'll still yeah, I still think I'll go essen in because they've alviously been in decent form the last sort of month or so. But I this is the type of game that Hawthorne all come out and perform well and probably win. So I'll probably end up regretting it. My call there, but I'm going to go at something. Yeah, I'm going to go the opposite. I'm Rio Hawthorne very good in Tassi and a lot of other teams struggle down there and coming off a good win. So surely they'll take some form into it. They probably won't, but I'll back him into let's get at least keep it close, get within two goals. All right, we'll pick a will pick which one we like the most out of all them. I'm going to go with port. I think that's a that's a lock. Three goals, I like. I'll educate that one. Well, I have a feeling that. I have a feeling that Delong's form is hitting at the right time. I think it'll only get better, and especially GM HBA. I think I might take the cuts at negative seven point five. Yeah, I think, as we saw against port, it was that sort of the domination of Delong's forward line in so compared to Port Adelades, I think it might be the same this week. Yeah, likes if the Betrio, I think are going to keep pretty at least ten combined again against the likes of, you know, Bruce and Norton, who I don't know if we'll kick that many. So yeah, I'm going to take that one. Ye, have seven point five to the cats. They'd be my second pick as well. I think they're I think they're both locks. Might might double some coin into them if I fight, if I have enough bears in me, which I probably will, but we'll see. Anyway. We'll wrap it up there. Quick shout out to corker. Thanks for thanks for giving us an opportunity to step up. Hopefully I've done a good job and, yeah, thanks for listening.
