Hello and welcome back to the on the board podcast. This is episode a hundred thirty four will be my guests today and we are back. The full trio is back, first time in a month, I would guess. Row He's back as always. How are you, mate? I'm great, mate. How are you? Yeah, I'm pretty well. Pretty well. Highlight of my lockdown week this pilch. More importantly, no offense, Roley, but we are. You and me are here every week. So which I guess can be the special guest for today. Interested in your thoughts and Opinions Day pillage. But how are you? First and foremost? Yeah, thanks, mate, good to make my monthly appearance. Be I'm good. Good Week of footy this past week. So yeah, I swear every time you're on, port and Saints Win The week before. Like I'm could be, could be, might beget on something in that I think your decision is made after the window, to be honest. Not sure. So not sure what comes first. Chicken all the egg, but pretty similar structure this week. Looking forward to the redrafting at the two thousand and twelve draft further down the line. We have all basically agreed that it was a shock and draft, but still nonetheless interested to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions and can have a chat about Super Code, because I am a little bit worried about my super coach side. But before we get into that, we've got out a little bit of a chat about round eleven of the AFL. I believe it was round eleven. So we'll let pilch special guests to the party. Will let him start with his winners for the week. So if you want to, let us say who you thought had a really good week. Shut can hamish. I'll kick it off with Brisbane Lions, who obviously we're expected to win against. We were at home, but they absolutely play them off the park. And gws wearing pretty good form and in my opinion and in quite a few people's opinions now, Brisbane a probably the number one seed. I think they're the best team in the COMP at the moment. And this is all without locking neel as well, which we'll see what happens when he comes back, but I'm sure he'll make them even better. Is that a is that a commonly held opinion? I don't know. Roy, what do you think about that? I don't want that. I think there were a lot of sort of slight down is if Brisbane early on in the year. I think, Hommer, you and I sort of spoke bet how we don't know if they're really that good, but I think, yeah, the last few weeks in particular really shown how strong they really are and all the talent that they've got flowing through that even their players to come in and playing roles like James Madden has got a lectrifying spade and those tour players all just fit in samlessly and really shows that they are very close. And I'm one said I don't know, I've I've got him in the top for definitely that has changed over at least a last week or so, but I'm not going to say topsy the moment. But I'd like to be proven wrong because they are really exciting side to watch and yeah, exactly, when looking your comes back, it's going to be awesome for him. Yeah, huge W for them. Smack judo spy sixty four. Well, I don't know if it's more than five on the trop but I was looking at they fell louder and they showed the last five results and they would only team with five W so that's why I'm there S. pretty sure they were one and three. Yeah, I think I'm not a hundred percent sure, but well, there was still last seven on the trot. Yeah, Delong Sidney and dogs. I think they lost to all the first month and then they obviously beat calling with just with the Zach Bailey kicks. I think I'm not missing a game. There could be, but yeah, that's pretty outrageous how far they've come in space about two months. The other other team I'll get around up the top of the table. There's another team worth mentioning down the Mid Table, but the other team at the top that I'll be getting around today will be the demons. Huge clash at the top of the table against the dogs, and scoreboard showed that it was a fairly good win, but I think if you watch the game was even more comfortable than the score board suggested. Dogs kicked a few late goals which kind of brought it back, but yeah, huge bounce back after a disappointing loss in Adelaide and I guess it shows that every now and then you've got to lose a game to keep the fire in the belly going. And they beat a pretty Ford admittable opponent in the dogs, and they now go clear top of the table and win ahead of everyone. Well, at least they've obviously more than a win ahead of most. And yet it killed it on the weekend. And Yeah, do you think Melbourne are a serious premiership contender now, Robbie? Oh, I do. I have obviously been thinking that for a few weeks now, since they've really sort of proven them that...

...they are this good. I think it took us all maybe a month, or maybe five or six weeks to get get him to really show that they are who they are, just given Melbourne's history in the last sort of a few years. But I think they are genuinely the real deal now. Obviously they played the g well because it's their home ground, so there's no grand farm disadvantage there. So they are generally the real deal and they are going to do on the if not the favorites for the flag. I'm still standing by Michael the other week against Tom Morris, who gave an absolutely earful about how they lost to the crows. So I'm still sitting by that. They obviously not invincible, as we all know. It's yeah, I definitely think they are the real deal and it's going to be very interesting finals match, especially if we see the dogs in the day's play against each other, especially if it's at the gay and I'd be well one of the best matches in our can last few years of football. That'd be incredible. But yeah, I definitely think they're the real deal now. Obviously took a bit of time, a bit more than it should just given now our Melbourne, but fully convinced now. Yeah, yeah, and then the third winner I'd like to touch on. I don't know if you boys want to touch on any others, but the bombers. They probably haven't given them enough love on this podcast, to be honest, considering that how poorly they were predicted to go this season and how well they actually are going. There now look like they're a bit of a smoky for that eight spot that we've been talking about four weeks rowy, but they are now go level on points with free mentor and gws. They are a little bit behind Sydney, as are all those teams in that race. But to beat West Coast in Perth. We've always talked about west coast trouble on the road, but we've never questioned their home form. So fast and in to go over there and get that win pretty incredible. Peelge, do you think there are genuine chance for the top eight or do you think they've just hit a bit of a rich fan of form? Yeah, I think they're definitely a chance, but more a smoky so still unlikely. Yeah, I think that'd probably be the common belief. I don't think many people would put their house on them over a team like Sydney or even gws. But yeah, there's a bit of hope now in the Esse and faithful, which is always a bit concerning because we've seen them get hopeful the past and be pretty disappointed. But yeah, they're killing it right now and with the young guns they've got, why not get excited, bombs fans, but that was a huge win. Rowy, draw a touch on your losers for the week. Yeah, well, we'll go to the polar opposite there and the eagles. It's obviously pretty disappointing for them. They had a few of the best players on the ground that had not new e just do as usual thing. Forty touches, twenty I sorry, Forty hit outs, twenty touches. Don't shade at forty three as well. But still couldn't get over the line. And this match there was obviously play on their home turf, which they're nearly invincible at. I think they'll beaten by a line up in the bombers who feel a bit rejuvenated this year. I think there's a lot of role changes in that team and it's really helped them. You know, they've got parished in the midfield. Now they've got hepple down back sort of managing and navigating everything, and obviously marit's got it on a string and players like nick kind coming off halfback. They just look a lot more structure and it's looks like they're in the positions that suit them. So yeah, the eagles, they were beaten clear by the better team, I think because in front of that crowd is obviously always the talk of the home ground bias, which often happens, but yelling ess and another real deal, if you if I want to touch on them very quickly, I reckon they are a smoky but we see, as we've seen in the past, I've got a big game atmosphere too and can really get up and about in these games. So yeah, it was the warring sign for the Eagles. And now they've obviously lost him Kelly for a few weeks. So it'll be interesting to see how they go over the next few weeks and whether it's just one match that they've dropped. But yeah, there's certainly a lose for the week, even it wasn't just away from home. Now they might have troubles at home and if they've got troubles at well, they've obviously clearly got serious troubles away from home. If that's starts to leak into their game and Optus, then yeah, there are a few warring signs for the Eagles. I predicted that down thought the start of the year and they got a reality check at the start of the season. But now maybe my words preseason went to outrageous given. Yeah, they're not looking at as good as they were were at the start of the year, but they're definitely the main loser for me. Yeah, they're like well, there's a lot of teams tied outside the top eight, but technically they're only four points ahead of twelve, which I think you predicted them to come around twelve, if I'm not mistaken. So did. Yeah, I was about twelve or thirty. Could be a bit of a bit of an our age as call, but yeah, yeah, certainly. Or was our ages the other loser on a touch on? For me, there wasn't too many loses this week, to be honest. I thought most the teams are lost. It put up a solid fight or we were expecting to lose, but probably just got to mention it. Given the fact if Jack Brawbent is a representative the cult and faith, we how disappointed he was. That...

...was our upset of the week. I didn't believe in it, Tip Sydney, but I thought it was a solid chance of happening. Don't know what you ended up doing, Rowi, but I switched to Sydney. I just yeah, couldn't back hold, unfortunately. Yeah, so, but I do think a lot of carton fans thought there are really good chance they're fortunately didn't get over the line. And now, given the form of teams like Essendon, obviously, except for this huge loss of Brisbane, but GWS in the past few weeks, and also Sydney playing really well, Carton's finals hopes, if they didn't already, I think that might have be in the final nail and the coffin, and I know their fans are pretty hopeful. So they were probably thinking they were still outside chance. And they've got west coast and Jed out gws in the next two weeks, which will probably games two or three weeks ago that you would have looked at and gone they'll be really tough, you wouldn't expect to win, but now they're almost must wins if they want to stay in the hunt for the finals. So yeah, if they don't, if they don't win either of them, they're probably going to be four wins out of the eight with less than ten rounds to go. So you can basically put the book end on that one. But yeah, big loss for Carlton and makes their finals hopes very, very minimal really, if they weren't already. But yeah, I didn't want, really want to put Carlton in there. Just thought, yeah, their finals chances took a blow, but didn't think it was the worst loss. I think Sydney are a better team than them. So yeah, I didn't watch the game so I don't know how poor it was. But looking at your predicted top eights, boys, moving on for the winners and losers. Will start with rowy. Will Get your top eight. Mate. What are the changes this week, whom you got one to eight. I've got a couple of little tweaks but overall it's not really changing a whole. Hate nails. We get into the ditty groot of the season. Of Now I've got the day's on top. I think I was a vital win, but I think it just goes to show that they really are going to beat anyone. I thought, what the dogs will one team that we're going to teach them a lesson, but I was I was pretty even wrong. Very happy to be as well, because they're playing some mores and footy. So I've actually got them finished on top. Now the dogs in a second. I think you can almost lock away that top to the cats in at three and then lines at four. So they've got them jumping into the four, which is good, obviously, so pilled to got port slipping down to five. I think their form against top eight teams isn't quite there. Ye, as we've seen this year. I got the tiger is in its sixth. Yeah, but I think we're touching a few episodes. How of their percentage against top top or top eighteen. Sorry, he's like seventy percent which obviously is an ideal so the tags and it's six and it's a bit of a toss of the coin between seven and eighth or got the eagles at seventh and Swan's at eight. But I think that finals spot there might even be a second one opening up here with the eagles. It's obviously going to depend heavily on the next couple of weeks, but say they get upset by Carlton this week coming up, I reckon that opens up another spot in the eight four grabs. So I reckon those first six teams are locked in and to play finals, not in that order, but they're going to be locked into play. But yeah, if the Eagles, I think the eagles are. Don't think they're locked in yet. So it's going to be a very interesting few weeks. Yes, one's rounding that one off and then obviously the teams are the bombers and the giants are hunting them down, so it'll be very interesting to watch. Yeah, that can't Eagles Games huge and there's a couple other big ones this week which will touch on at the end of the episode when we make our predictions. Pilch, have you done your top eight? Mate, yeah, mate, slightly different from row he's actually starting from the top. I've Got Port Adelaide at number one. Surely not feel after the by this week Geelong at the Adelaide Oval. We win that and we've got the easiest remaining fixture out of all the big teams and all the top four teams we played all the Adelaide Oval. So big chance that we go undefeated to the end of the yeah, you're gonna gave a straight face. He's going on the instagram preview that one. Yeah, that's in its second another change. I've actually got Brisbane. I'm really high on them and I think it starts this week. I think they beat Melbourne and by the end of the year they just picked them days. Three doggies for I think the top four plush along a pretty set, as Roley said, to along fifth, Richmond six, and then I've got Sydney above West Coast, Sydney seven, West Coast Eight. Well, I like that. Sydney started to move up there. Yeah, definitely think that West Coast position's hop they just done to look a lot less secure than I was about a month ago. Yeah, so that's interesting. Take debt that port one. Definitely. I don't I can't tell if you're telling the fist Lt. but mate, dead, serious, dead. I Haven't looked at the fixture, to be fair, so you could be rather you did honor minor...

...premiers and then straight sets are it's loss condition. He's not delustional, but yeah, are you taking that? By the way, if they win the minor premiership and lose straight sets, are you happy with that season? But well, you can't. You can't be happy this strike sets. I can at least make a prelim. I think the demons fans will be happy with straight sets. But yeah, all right, time to reach raft it. We come back now two thousand and twelve draft. I don't think we've hit the stage yet where the guns of retired. Yet they're still well and truly in their prime. We would discussing off air what age will get to. I think two thousand and seven, two thousand and six might be the cutoff point where we especially myself as bit out of my depth, but I'll go first and once again you boys can correct my mistakes. Hopefully I haven't missed any Caleb Daniels of the world this time round, and hopefully I haven't picked any mature ages at this stage. Couldn't tell you who's in the true ages. So we'll see how we go. But yet, just in general, this draft a lot less depth. I know now the players who may be played seventy eighty games I might have been delisted by now. So like if they're not currently play I would have even considered them. So I only really considered twelve players for my top ten here. So it was a pretty easy selection process, but that made the position getting tough. So My honorable mentions are Jack Viney. Just think he's a really good player and when he's fitting firing he's good. But I've seen him out of injuries he's had over his time the AFL. For me make him an honor will mention. He's probably better than some of the players my top tender. Yeah, that's pretty much it. And then Tommy clury. All those are pretty good player at the moment and he was cool. Came more. I'm sorry, I don't think yeah, that high, but yeah, what I was looking at, which probably made me leave him out, is he's only played just over a hundred games so and he's been a regular for the last couple years. So like compared to some of the others, who've basically played from the get go of being drafted. He took a lot longer to get into the side and now he's a very reliable player. But yeah, that came to my think him putting him there, which it was harsh. I feel bad for him, but I know Pila to have him in there, so you can chat about him there. But yeah, right, number ten. I know rhet doesn't like this bloke and rhet always listens to the redraft. So shore out diret. But Tim embory, he has been the saints leading goal kick at three years. I think there's like twenty, seven, eight, nineteen, maybe something like that, but I've got a minute pick ten. Don't think he's an incredible player or anything, but very serviceable toll forward. Hopefully Max King sprouts and then he can be a very good like number two. Some of his highlights he came fifth in the BNF in two thousand and nineteen. Yeah, not really much else to mention. I've just got him there because of the onlong movies. Might move him down after hearing what there's something distraceful. From now one, mate, I've gotten high as say then well, yeah, you can have my ufion number nine. I've got Campden Macintosh. Look, if you take away the flags, I don't know if he'd make my ten. Probably not, but purely because he has been a pretty solid cog in a very good team. One, two flags. He mustn't have played twenty nineteen or yeah, I don't know. I'm pretty sure it was two thousand and nineteen, Miss Ord. Yeah, getting confused now, but he did only have two flags. When I checked it was came fifth in their being F last year. Coming in top five in a premiership winning side, that's pretty impressive. So yeah, he's one. Number Nine, very good role player for the tags, as a lot of them are. Number Eight, I've got only wines. In terms of three achievements. There's not too many of notes and I don't think he's actually that good of a player till about two thousand and nineteen, and then I think he became a lot more impactful on games. I think up to that point didn't amass enough of the footy to allow fore's average disposal, when now he absolutely racks up and it's a contested be so yes, right now, if we're looking at two thousand and twenty, one who out of this Dr Raft class do you want the team? He'd be right up there, but in terms of his career today, for me he's not that high. But yeah, good play, a good player. Number seven I've got lucky hunter. Won The BNF at the dogs in two thousand and eighteen. Obviously won the flag in two thousand and sixteen. Probably passed it now, you would have to say, kind of playing as like a pressure forward. Now we're at his prime. He was a bit of a winger, bit of a halfback, flankr very good user of the footy, Silky player and you know it's just a typical dogs players...

...and he just classy individual. Loves it it. Loves it a Marvel Eddie had. So he's my number seven. Number six I've got Joe Dana hurt. I found him really hard to position but when he's up and firing one of the best tool forwards in the game. But he's injury issues can't really be ignored. Has Hardly got on the park consistently. Made The Australian squad in two thousand and seventeen, Essen and best and therris in two thousand and seventeen. Four times in his career he's been his club's top goal kicker, which is pretty impressive. So he's one. Number six, number five, I've got the number one pick from the Dannonong sting rays. Lucky whitfield short pilches got him at like number negative one. The man crush he has unlucky Whitfield is enormous. But that doesn't even exist right. Yeah, I don't. Come on, do understand that. But two thousand and eighteen Australia Inn a man crush made. There is no amount of yeah, maybe it's just coach. Are Allow that? Two Thousand and eighteen Australian squad member. He won the gws best and Ferris in two thousand and eighteen to two thousand and twenty, which is pretty impressive in a fairly loaded lineup, you'd have to say. Yeah. Just his position, I'd say it's not the hardest going round. Loves and uncontested pill but he is a very good player. Number four, opposite to Whitfield. I think his position is very hard to find. His very unique player and that's Jake Stringer. I've got him a number four one the flag in two thousand and sixteen with the dogs, Australian Square, not squad, but he made the Australian team in two thousand and fifteen, five time leading goal kick up for his club, twice at Essen and three times of the dogs. Very good player, loves to have massive, impacting big games and we're seeing this year basically how important he is to the Essendon team and when he's on he's one of the best players to watch in the competition. Number three, similar to that, the Camden Macintosh thing. If he didn't have three flags to his dame he definitely wouldn't be this high, but I don't think you can ignore that personally, and it's Nick Floston. He's one all three flags with Richmond. He's been in their top five in the BNF in two thousand and nineteen, two thousand and twenty, made the Australian squad last year, obviously got koed and that grand final, so I don't know how much her members of it, but yeah, huge important peace in their team. It's been missing all year and could be definitely could be one of the reasons why they've had a slow start to the year. But I think Nick Foston's been a very, very good player for that dominant Richmond team and a number two, number one and number two. I will be interested to see who we have. I assumed you will have the same pair, but I'll see number two. I've Gone Jack mccrae. Just think I've got Brady Granny number one. Just think Rachman are harder to find than gun inside midfielders, which is what Jack mccrae is probably one of the best accumulators of the footy we've seen in recent years. Everyone basically knows and free super coach and AFL fantasy. Well, beast mode basically just finds thirty. This year it's like the most games in a row with thirty plus touches or something insane like that. But get to Australian appearances in two thousand and nineteen, two thousand and twenty one, the dogs flag in two thousand and sixteen, Australian squad in two thousand and eighteen, and he's just a beast. But yeah, they're only reason he's number two for me is because there's less ruckman going round than inside midfielders. So Brady grandy's my number one. Two Thousand and eighteen nineteen Australian two time. Collingwood Been F winner, which is probably less than you'd imagine. But I guess they do have some good players like penal, grand side bottom and stuff. But yeah, Grundy number one pick for me, absolute gun. And yes, I'm interested to hear your top tens, pilch. I want to hear where you have, in particular the Port Boys, because I you aren't happy with my positioning of them. But what's your top ten? Pills? Yeah, I want to start off by saying there's a one huge difference. That's Jake Stringer. Quick disclaimer. I pretty much did not watch footy in two thousand and fifteen so I am probably criminally underrating him, but he has not made my top ten. He's my honorable mention. Probably should be a number ten ahead of Tommy cleary. But Tom Clary, I feel like he cops a lot of stick in the media, like when Hawkins Kicks Six on Him. Last year he got absolutely belted. But for the last five years he's been a mainstay in now back line, which has been one of the best back lines in the camp. Even when we haven't made the eight, we've always been top three or four, four points conceded, and he always gets the number one job as well on the big key forward. So underrated. Player number nine, lucky hunter, just consistent. Player number eight, Viney, seven, dnaher six,...

...memory. I'll leave Rowy to talk about memory, but I just feel like his position and the way he plays is quite rare in the afl at the moment and it's quite an important position. Like you don't really see many forwards of his physique doing what he does. And as Hamer shed leading goal kicker three years in a row. Nick Vloston at five probably wouldn't be there if not for the premierships, as Hamish had, as well Whitfield for wins three. Maybe biased. He's had a weird career. He Sat, he broke out luck straight away and became like a will say, we'll say B plus to a type inside bed and then just didn't improve for like six years. But last year and this year he's kind of moved into that elite echelon and he's been absolute gun and he's up there in the brownlow predictions at the moment for this season, deservedly, and then, same as you have up to McRae one grundy. For the exact same reason. I think Ruckman more important position and harder position to play in some respects. So yeah, yeah, interested to hear yours, Roley, all righty Um. Also, of kick off a few honorable mentions. Yeah, Camden McIntosh, unfortunately you didn't make mine, and unfortunately Tommy Clear. He's a Leventh man here, so he's only just missed down, fortunately by do you recognize he as an underrated player and he does cop the main man every week. But yeah, I'll kick it off. Number ten. I've got Jack Vineage, a bit of a bull in there for them, has been for a while. The actually got team membering at nine. He is a very unique player. He's actually only, one night it was, sorry, one hundred and eighty eight centimeters, so he's actually smaller than half of the midfield is going around nowadays and has worked in his favor a lot of the time, but has also sort of limited him slightly. He's got incredible hands but given his sort of lack in height, it's sort of limited his ability to sort of go into massive packs and take massive plunks just purely because he's about ten centimeters smaller than what would make him in an elite tool forward. But yeah, but also ability to knock kick huge bags. He sort of gets, you know, between one and three goals a game whereas you know, I feels kicking few bags of like forward five, he'd be a bit higher, but unfortunately he's just sort of stuck to that sort of consistent role for us. He's a really good later tim but yeah, that sort of uniques has worked for him but also against him. And number eight it was Jay Danaher obviously very hard to sort of position, but I think now he's we obviously saw it his first few years. He was incredible goal kicker for the bombers. He's obviously very high out there in you know, all Australian calculations and stuff. I don't know if he actually might have made the team up and actually looked back at that, and I think hopefully he's regaining some of that form at Brisbane and I'm very good to see him sort of play alongside the likes of BC stain hit would to take all the pressure off him. And number seven I've got actually got JAG stringer. I think the big game impact of his caliber of player is vital, especially for a team like Essendon. Obviously got that prentnership with the dogs and had a huge few years with them. So I really write that type of play sort of to go he dusty mind type. They can roll through the midfield and it's just an absolute machine up forward for them. And number six I've got lucky hunter. He gets a lot of cheap he's on the outside, I know, but he's a gut runner and he's can consistently as thirty when playing the right position, and that takes talent and think he had another sort of twenty seven on the weekend against the day's. So he is a big user the ball for them when they're on the outside. So and he has been for a while. So it's just been very consistent player. And number five, lucky Whitfield. Speaking of Gut runners, this bloke is obviously one of the Blos you think of. Obviously got a really nice kick on him. Is plays that sort of slightly easier role when you know you come out of half back and taken a ball forward. But the same time, as we've talked about how many you need a good kicks play a role and he's got that. So he's in a number five for me. Number four I've got Nick Losten, is obviously being a massive part of that Richmond defense in this little mini to just see their forms and would be interested to see how it would have gone without him. so He's been very solid for them. And number three of also got all the wines. I think it's I know it is a bit easier to come by inside midfields these days, but it is hard to find them, the ones that get consistent twenty five to thirty five touches and are just absolute balls and their week in week out. He's obviously one of them. And then a number two. I've actually got different. I've Gone Grundy to mccrae one. Usually I would...

...back the taller bloke, given their it's a bit hard to find them, obviously, but I just think the eliteness of Jack mccraine and the meal is unbelievable and if you was out another club, obviously wouldn't be as overshadowed by he's not overshadowed, but a lot more the light would be on him than likes of Botton, all them. I think mccrae, he's so elated getting it out of the packs and just pinpoint accuracy finding targets. I think it's just I'm a bit jealous of him because there's an exact type of players. Think Kildon, just a bit of composure and that week and week out ability to get thirty five and most of his touches be a late pinpoint kicks and all that. So yeah, I'd believe me. I Rate Grundy very highly and it's definitely not because grunty screwed over my super coach this week that he's in it too. But I've yeah, I think mccraye's just an absolute incredible midfielder and I think he's hopefully within brown low contention this year because he's just about the complete package. So I'm going to have him over Grundy. But yeah, I'm glad we've all a great on that top two because there's clearly the top two best players of that draft. Yeah, I wanted, I wanted to go one's at one, but wouldn't. I wouldn't have been invited back on the podcast. So ones one clearly too. Yeah, it to be fair. This this redraft I definitely looked at achievements a lot more than like current ability and future, I guess, because wines definitely could be a premiership winner in the next two or three years and you'd think he's on track for Australian appearance in that time frame as well. So I do cop that you guys have him a lot higher than me. All right, time for some super coach. Bit of a weird week, I think, if I'm not mistaken. Did all three of US Captain Grundy? Yeah, I did. Yeah, I believe so. Yeah, so that definitely put a ceiling on our performances. But still think it was varied. I think, definitely, definitely know I got the smallest score, but I did crack to one hundred. Again that I was one point. Look like I was going below, which would have been annoying because I didn't want to, you know, go two steps forward, one step back. But look looks like my team's good enough to pass that threshold every week, so I'll take that. But yeah, just quickly on my side, bit of a weird week. Didn't get the rookies to correct, but yeah, I don't really know what happened my team this week. It was all right. I had some big scores, like Zorco. Bond went pretty large again, which I did have my vice on, but I decided to send it with Grundy which, as all of us know sitting here, that was the incorrect called Kelly went big again. He's actually a lot more of a pod than I realize. He's only in like a center team, so he's doing me pretty well the last couple weeks. But yeah, still not the greatest week. Still got too many rookies on my field and that's basically leave what is preventing me from going to two hundred plus. Rowdy had your super coach week go my ideal to one seven nine. was looking a lot better early on, but I've AC gone, which was stupid, given I'm just got a lock in either the cray or Oliver every week now. I'm just it's very frustrating watching eat as much as as good as he is gone. He was able to fight back. It's very frustrating he watching him as your vc when you've got the likes of m crane all of a running around getting thirty five. So yeah, I think going got one hundred and twenty and it took me Rabittillard seconds before the pies game and I thought let's just role with grunny. I thought the lowest he could get is about eighty five ninety, which you only cost me thirty points. But the high sea going goes about one hundred seventy, which was gamy. So I thought, given that, the only thing we got to worry about as an injury. And you can't, you can't factor in injuries when you're chooseing captains. Obviously gets injured. What he's on seventy. So absolutely kicking myself there. But yeah, I've been planning the team for a few weeks. Our brought in Josh Kelly, who was really good for me one and twenty two. But yeah, I've planned out the next few weeks and hopefully calm the last week of the buyers after my trades. I'll only have one upgrade left in cody and six trades left. So obviously it's going to be praying as no major injuries to the premiums. But yeah, the team's come along nicely. Just got to hope for some bench come Ridge to be playing and to not have too many injuries and should be right his reign for the weeks to can't but yeah, just drop slightly in the ranks. Two hundred and seventy seven, so hopefully we can bounce back up in the weeks to come. Yeah, Pil Chaji, I know you had a bit of a slow start, but I think he ended up doing pretty well. Yeah, so it was looking real grim before Sunday. The only reason I captain Grundy, I also Vice Goorn, was the news that guthree was out figured and who was a blitz offs was also a laid out. So with...

Duncan, danger and Guthrie our, I just thought pies mids Field Day, rundy thirty five hitouts to advantage, but obviously he got injured. But on the positive side of things, crips finally of held him the entire season and he's finally at a good game park. Our Color Mills continues to be the best starting pick of all time. And Yeah, I scored to two hundred and forty. Stayed exactly where I was in the ranks at twenty five hundred, and I've got six hundred and Twenty K in the bank to spend over the next few weeks, so things are looking pretty good. Yeah, that's some big spending. Right time to chat a little bit about our trades this week or the next couple weeks. Firstly, though, I kind of forgot to mention my trades. I brought in liver as a bit of a pod and seven am and yeah, that back fight. He got tagged by James Harms. It wasn't on Fan Footie, the live scoring, so at first I'm sort out of stink of it. Since then I've heard a lot about this james harms hard tag that he copped. I was talking to peach earlier in the week. I am a little bit worried that other teams start to do it now that they've seen. Well, now, that not necessarily saying that's the only reason the dogs lost, but like now that the team is beaten them has done that. I'm scared other team start to copy that. But hopefully that's not the case because it loomed him to seventy eight. I did Brill and shy Bolton there and he tuned up and he looks like he's a lot for a top six forward. So pretty happy with that one. But yeah, I can't lie the last or that I've had some average injuries in the last four or five days that have come throw my by planning out of the window. As everyone has the grundy injury, but also had the hunter clock get injured last week. Didn't get picked. Still got him, didn't trade him out, but hopefully he's back this week. But solid chance he's not. And Yeah, now I'm really not sure what to do because Berry's also out, who I was counting on in with some bench come coverage. He got concussed on the weekend, which means he has to miss the upcoming weeks. I'm fine for this week, but I'm very, very worried about the next two because with when I was planning it, I had about seventeen and each week, I think, and I was just going to trade after this week bringing some players is who had the round twelve by and we're going to play the next fortnight. But now it looks like I might be down to fourteen or fifteen and those weeks. So there's a chance that I might have two trade for someone on the by this week and just pray that nothing happens to them in the next two weeks and they don't, you know, do an acl a training or something. But really don't want to do that because, yeah, just knowing the injury like this season for everyone, that will happen. So very scared to do that. But Roy, what are your thoughts about your trades this week? Yeah, so, look, you by team. I've got five upgrades left. Obviously priority one is getting eighteen playing over the next three weeks. So I'm basically need to one upgrade eat for each of the first two weeks and then two to round off the last weeks. I hopefully as a settle on. They have one left and cody, so I'm going to be looking at well, I think at the moment you've got to find keepers that are really good value at the moment just to save trades. So I'm looking at finally, upgrading is to consistent Chad Warner to fellow teammate Isaac Heeney, which scares me because we obviously know about Isaac Haney, but I think it's just it's so vital to save as much money as you can in order to save trades. So it's something got to do. Only costs about I don't know. Yeah, it didn't cost my i'velway done with my team's connectually check how much warner was before, but didn't cost too much. And in just because I can't you kind of unlimited trades of next few weeks, I'm going to jump the gun early on Bianco. It's going to go anthon. He's got down him to free up a bit. So hundred and Sixteen K this week's I'm effectively done. One Upgrade Warner to Heney next week. Planning to do finally cash in on Flinn. Probably the right time to given he's breakings in the S and reeves is about to jump up. Obviously they're both in him. Reeves will be playing in the next few weeks. That's good cover for Grundy, so it seems very logical that one. And then I'll also be planning to upgrade cozy to Lucky Whitfield. Probably the right time to bring in blocky, giving he'll also be playing every week and his break cab it's also in the S. S. it's wing. Just about every man has to get on him because he's obviously going to be very good. Shout for a top six to fender lock and in there the next week after that. Round for Dan is obviously pending. Having eighteen playing every week, but hopefully come up grade James Jordan and Kayleb Poulter to a couple of premos. But yeah, it's just about finding guys that are good enough at the price. It's very cheap. So yeah, hoping...

...that after the byrons are really got one upgrade left and can do that and finish off the team and just trade for injuries. Yeah, in a pretty similar thought pattern to put right now, just think I might have to trade just because I don't trust that especially by rookies will hold their spot and they'll be rolling into around third ten and fourteen with like twelve players. But yeah, first of all, hopefully Anthony Scott's back this week. That would be ideal. But yeah, I'm not that worried about this week. It's more week thirteen and fourteen that I'm stressed about. Also, my head to head opponent has like five people on the buyer this week. I'm so pissed off. It's like one of the one of the people I can actually beat now league and he's stacked for this week and he's probably going to get twenty points the next two weeks but he'll beat me. So pretty annoyed about that. But anyway, right, it's a enough about super coach time for a bit of a week twelve or round twelve preview, and I have to say I've not done my tips this week as I usually come on to the podcast with, because this is probably the hardest week of tipping I've ever seen. I'm absolutely stumped in about four of the six games. So yeah, might be leaning on some advice from you boys. But Rowdy, what is your shot better the week? I've got a couple. First One, I think this one's going to be too good for us. That match isn't being played at Marvel, as the fixture probably still suggest still suggests me, but I think they're just going to be too good. The play is like heiny and buddy. I think it's going to go town on muscling. Hey will have well, hopefully for my steed. Coach has about, you know, three, four goals and twenty touches. Buddy'll kick four or five. You know, I win was not convincing it all against the auth was still very, very sloppy and just not very good. So I think it. That's probably the shortest bet this week, alongside maybe the crows against Collingwood, believe it or not, obviously calling it of lost tylor Adams and Braddy Grundy, and the crows are playing in front of their home crowd, which is we discussed earlier on other previous episodes. Hammers actually a real factor for them. It's a really tough ass going over to Adelaide and beating them in front of their home crowd. They just turn the pressure right up and I'm as we saw, Melbourne's lost to their most recently, Geelong's succumb to it. So I think allaid's going to be too strong for them as well, especially considering collins outs. So I think those are definitely the two shortest of the week. I'm not including free our bulldogs in that one because I have a feeling Fred could do a similar thing there. But I'll let the I'll let you, pilch, talk about your short bets. All Right, so we've just realized that there's only four of the six games on sports bet, but we'll still have a crack it upset of the week. I guess we can kind of work out WHO's the upsets. Pilch, who is your most likely candidate for upset of the week? Yeah, I found this quite tough, to be honest, and I've actually gone with what's probably a smokey I don't know about all you boys have gone with, but I've gone the DON's to upset Richmond, which is huge call. But the game is in at optos, I believe, which is where the Don's have been all week. They just put on a clinic. They're richmond left to travel up. So I think they can continue to form into this week, and Richmond have been obviously well below par compared to their normal expectations. So I hopefully the dogs can get up. Yeah, that's advice coming from a professional gambler. So that that was some completely didn't think about them being there already. I like it. I like it rally. Do you back that upset or if you got another one? Well, I actually do. I originally had the blues over the Eagles, but now I've realized blues are actually favorite, so I've gone the bombers as well as the upset. I completely agree with your pillage. I like the I think the bombers definitely tain the plays with confidence and Thris off it. I think they're going to be well and truly with that this week coming off and win against the eagles. I think, as we Tut eyes are touched on before, all their players are playing in positions that are suiting the structure of the team more so I think. Yeah, I think that will and truly within grasp for this game. Might grow up hair and tip them as well, actually, because I don't mind this matchup at all. Yeah, it will be very interesting watch that one, I think. Is it a night game? That one? Yeah, times think so. Yeah, Dream Time. That's beautiful. So, yeah, that's definitely going to be a huge match and I might be back in the bombers in there. I just reckon to be an awesome match and the midfield of parish, well, it's awesome. And include parish that now because he's obviously hasn't been given the opportunity to while a parish and merit. Hopefully string I can roll through there and yeah, I can be a very good match. I reckon the bombs might come away with that one. Also want to shout out my boy Lengthford, who's been bawling over the past two or three weeks as well getting a few more per center bounces. But how's he? Your boy, I've never heard...

...you mentioned in my name preseason. If free, okay, but I'll I'll bitched it, obviously, which was good. Yeah, fair, fair enough that they go to said Dream Time at the GEM. I guess it's Dream Time and opticus now. But yeah, I don't mind that. I think. Don't know who I'll be tipping at but yeah, when I saw Essen at to eighty. I thought I was pretty good value. Are there any betting lines that you like? Row? There's only four up there, so no, if you're not cat or rue. I'm not huge fan of this week. And now, yeah, pillage. Do you like anyone that? Yeah, I didn't. I've got off. Put three down. I'm not that confident, but I'll real them off. I don't think they'll win, but I think the pies at plus fourteen and a half is pretty good, even though they don't have grundy. The last two weeks they've showed that they can. They've played two of the best teams in the COMP and come within ten points and one point in both the Games. And Adelaide, I know they're tough to beat at home, but they're a shit side. Like we can't, we can't forget how shit they are. So I think. I think they're going to be blowing out collingwood and then the doggies, minus eighteen and a half. I just think they'll be too good for free. Oh, they'll get that done. And then obviously the Don's seeing is though. We've picked them to upset Richmond. Have a thirteen and a half head start, so I think that's pretty decent. Yeah, fair enough, bit stiff on our lay, but it's true. They are. Don't see them blowing them out. Yeah, very interesting. I'm going to have to have a little bit of a think about those tips. I don't get why the Saint Kila, Sydney and Melbourne Brisbane ants aren't up. Yeah, is it Hames? They got move reason or did they not? Yeah, but I think that's the thing. I can think all. I think the West album the ones. That's it in the northern territory. I think so. Yeah, a stadium. Yeah, they moved a game away from there last week, so I guess that's maybe why it's off the betting markets, but couldn't tell you up but that's just me guessing. All I care about is my super coach. So yeah, I don't care who wins out of Richard EST as long as Alec Waterman and Shy Bolton kick ten between them. I'll say that, just as Alec Waterman, even Blay, I don't know Alec. Couldn't tell you who he is, but is it must have a good size. He gives me fifty a week. He kicks strange. So if you're lucky, good, it's just quickly, boys. Are who we tipping in the stain? Firstly, saints, Swans. Are we all on swans? Yes, swans. And then I think you have and this one's line. Yeah, I think one's line, and the swans. Forty, forty class, sixty class. Yeah, eighty three goals. And then find out, but more importantly, who were tipping for these lines? I'm going lines. I'm going lines to yeah, that'll be actually such a good game. Yeah, I think I have to go the lines, but I'm very doubtful about it. But yeah, I think I will lock in the line. Thanks for the venue. The venue change my affected. But yeah, I'll go lines for now. For some reason, why still doubting the day's even though that ten and one. I just can't grin because they are Melbourne. That's why I have so it's so and I lost it. But if I lost it, who are the way? Who are the worst team the COMP barring North Melbourne? I guess I was going to say that you are poort Ol found, I guess, but yeah, it's a bit stiff. But yeah, anyway, cheers to coming on boys, very big week of Footy, even though there are only six games on six pretty good games, six very good games. Yeah, Tipping Nightmare and I'm absolutely on a tear and tipping right now. So got to have to think about those ones over the next forty eight hours. But looking forward to it. Looking forward to what I do is super coach. Will let actually we will. Won't let you know how what we do with super coach, it's going to say. But yeah, last time I checked, I do not tweet out my trades or something like that, but hopefully I'm out enter the top. I'll tweet Mary, if you do it all right. I'm not, but I might not trade. So I just tweet holding, holding chads. No trains that I hope, or cast this week. Yeah, I think I'm seven hundred. Still sitting on Frank Fifty Thou. I wish, man, I wish I'll see house sixty. Yeah, I think I'm just I think I'm just outside sixty, the top sixty K. I think I'm about five hundred out, but now buys, I'm I'm back myself. By the end of the bar arounds I'll be in the top K. you've heard it here first. Otherwise I'll do a sort of change it back Jackstrap. I I given that given your starting team. That's her luck, Ye, but yeah, anyway, your current...

...teams. Yeah, given everything. I just that hurts, boys, but it's all true. I can't even my but yeah, thanks for joining me. Good to have the trio back again. Hopefully be back again next week.
