Welcome back to the other podcast. This is episode a hundred and thirty of the show. Could be completely wrong with thirty there, but that's what I believe. It is once again joined by Rowy for a weekly AFL review preview. How are we, Rubbie? I'm right. Thanks mate. How are you? I think it might be one hundred and thirty one. So I think that's a second week and ROB head. Yeah, but yeah, I pretty sure I said thirty last week, but I looked at spotify in the last one uploaded with one hundred and twenty nine. So I think I've got the numbering roll on spotify somewhere. But Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's actually one hundred and thirty one. Big appreciations to you, because I did tell you we were going to start recording forty five minutes ago. But anyway, that's right. Appreciate you for sticking around. and Tuesday night this potty should go up a bit earlier than the last few weeks since we are doing earlier in the week. So that's ideal. But same format pretty much as last week. May as well started off really straight into it. Winners and losers from around nine. If the AFL rowdy who are you looking at? Is the big winners. North Belwin. Finally, Lan was the upset of the week and they got up. For me, had the money on them. Unfortunately in a multi and the advoss like didn't get up, which is Gail West, but nonetheless huge wit. Is North Melbourne. We we knew that they weren't going to go home in twenty two. So I thought knew Hawthorne's I think it's the second year in a row where the team that's you know, I wouldn't something is knocked off the hawks for their first win, obviously last years Adelaide, but obviously huge win for them to gain a lot of confidence in. I think showed everyone that obviously they're having a really shocking year and it was expected, but really shows to not too far behind these teams like Hawthorne and Adelaide and so on, and I'll touch on Hawthorne later in the PODCAST, but really wasn't pressed impressed with them at all. Another one of the winners was the dogs. I think they showed incredible mental toughness, given they were down early in the first quarter and obviously that was one of the things they lacked. When they play the Tigers you for a few weeks back, which was obviously a season defining game for both clubs. And then to talk about the Tigers. They're also another big winner for mine. Once again for the second time this year, like we saw against the dogs and the Tigers, they came back and brought about a really, really hard forward victory, especially missing a lot of death players, you know they had. They sent a bounce attendees being like RCD, and just role players like Lean Baker is one that had an awesome game. But yeah, it was a very wounded outfit that managed to get on top of the giants who were, it struck a bit of form and this is obviously hurt them, as well as the loss of Toby Green. But two wins from the dogs the Tigers, which I think just sort of proved their mental toughness. That's what I've got away from those two wins. And obviously Norse, just very fulfilling win, I have to say. But yeah, what about you? Yeah, agree with all those shouts. What unto North? Not Not sure where I sit with Hawthorne Right now, but anyway, we'll talk about them in a bit. As you mentioned. The other one, I'll probably touch on is Essen and I know they were the bookie's favorite, so it doesn't seem that outrageous. But I legit thought for our were as very good chance and for a young team you'd probably expect inconsistencies, but they've been fairly consistent this year. They've pretty much been in almost every game they've played in. Even the losses have been tired. I remember the Sydney one was within a goal from memory. So they're having a surprisingly pretty impressive years. So good weekend for two teams who we thought would be sitting at the bottom of the ladder, and north and Essendon as a North still are sitting down there, but yet too very happy supporter bases and play groups right now. Also shared out to Brisbane. Probably going to touch on Gold Coast more in that clash, but Brisbane probably the most informed team right now. You'd have to say. They've had a really good month. They've been putting away some teams that they should be but given the form they started with them the first few weeks, we were maybe thought a few of them could be danger games. But yeah, the way they just blew open that q clash, and I think it was the second quarter, was really impressive and show so that they're not completely out of the picture in terms of the premiership and top four and that stuff. They're now leapt into the top for after Port Adelaide's loss and yeah, good win from Brisbane. Or losers, though? Obviously like to focus on the positives more, but there were a fair few losers. Maybe will probably start with Hawthorne, since we started with north. It's just not good enough. Is it a club that in the last you know, since twenty two thousand and five, probably have been one of the standout clubs with obviously, I...

...think, four premierships across that period and they look like they're just a rabble right now. Rumors of Clarks and going to Collingwood replacing Nathan Buckley started circling, which is interesting for both parties. But yeah, wirring signs for the Hawks. I know we touched on it a bit last week, but what do you make of the Hawks? I'll quickly address that. Clarks into Buckley replacing Buckley Rum I think Buckley's room to sign a one year extensions. I think he might be the poltext year again, but I haven't actually heard about that classon one. So scoops mccrcodale there delivering on the ball. But yeah, I've heard, yeah, I've obviously heard the buck will be the next year, which call me, call me off guard, but fair enough, they're sticking with him. So yeah, the Hawks, I mean this sort of comes about is a bit of a bit of a result of there like list management over the past few years. But hasn't just been this year. You know, they're recruited in O' MIRA and wing guide and all that to get the premierships. But obviously ever since that's happened they've just gone downhill and as a result of that they don't have many young talent coming through. You know, they've obviously got warpole. We touched on a few episodes a go, but don't know about his ceiling and apart from that there is really not much. To be honest. I'm you know, I've got those. They've obviously got cj off halfback, which has been a revelation this year. But if you're thinking about, you know, top ten, top fifteen draft picks, the only one that really comes to mind over the last few years is Demograt Gerbrassi hasn't played a game yet. It was drafted last draft and will day as well, who obviously shot a lot of promise but got injured. But apart from that they don't have a lot of young talent on the list. It's a lot of sort of middle ages that I don't know, like they're not going to take him to the next premiership, let's be honest, like they're not that good. So yeah, it's really worrying signs and I think it is a result of the last sort of five years and their reluctance to accept that they're going to have to go through a little mini rebuild. There was sort of a lot of resistors to the change of Hawthorne. You know, they went through this whole stage of premierships, premierships, you know, bringing in players to keep us in the hunt, and they sort of ignore the fact that their players getting old. You know, obviously a few moves they thought we can just replace them. But yeah, in the end I think it was just Clarkson's obviously the main one, the one that wanted to just the change of having to go through this sort of mini rebuild, and obviously it's costed them because they really don't have much young talent on the list at the moment. You know, the fact you can barely name any of the top of your head speak through itself. So I think it's just a result of the last few years of this management that they're in the position they're in right now. Obviously, the son's, I think you've been a huge d out of them this year, so I'll let you touch on them. Gws Just choking. Obviously they were informed. They were a head by about four or five goals. They had Jesse Hogan mammoth second quarter and they're obviously against a wounded and young Richmond's side. Unfortunately couldn't get the job done there. Port Adelaide as well. Really disappointing loss for them. If they wanted to be premiership fancies, they're not anymore. I don't think I was listening to I don't know who it was, on the radio. They're going through the sort of the top teams in the competition and they were naming their match as they've played against top eight teams. You know, I think Sidney was a big improve both like last year I think they barely beat a top eighteen. had a shocking percentage against them all, and this year they're like three and one against them or something like that. All the teams they touched on had really strong records, except for Port Adelaide. This year, I think they're one and three or one and four, with a percentage of like seventy against top eight teams, and that really surprised me and it really turned me often for the time being. So I think that lost to the bulldogs on the weekend just justifies that. She shows that. I'm sorry, peach, but just shows that right now it's hard to see them progressing deep, deep, deep into September if they're going to keep up this record against the top quality teams the competition. They've definitely got the talent to prove me wrong on that and I hope they do because I love watching them play, but I think that current stat is really meaningful to the state that they're in at the moment. Obviously it's not a dreadful stay or anything like that, and then again, it was only one loss in the week and the port about this comment, but at the end of the day you can't ignore it, so I'll leave it that and free I as well. I feel as though they're not getting many wins where they're upsetting teams free or they're causing big upsets, and I think they're also losing games. Well, these type of games where they come up against a team where they should be favorite against, and they were, I think, until the market kind of swayed late, but they were favorite against Essen and initially. And there are a better team than Essen and and they should have beaten them, but the fact that Essen and...

...had the home game played in front of their crowd, it was a type of game that free or destined to lose, I feel. I feel they lose a lot of these type of games where it's fairly level. They are to have the quality, but they go down because of, you know, the home crowd or something like that. So I think, yeah, that they're not achieving anything more than what they are at the moment, which isn't great for them, because they're not growing. In a sense. I think what's the people saw them as nalds chances this year. Doesn't look like it's going to happen now. But yeah, unfortunately, like they've got the quality, no doubt about that, but unfortunately, for the Time Bang not too sure where they're sitting at the moment. Very impressed by the bombers are back to them. I back Terry Jones for three goals to kick to in the first five minutes and couldn't get another flipping disposal for the rest of the game. But nonetheless it was a good win for the bombers. But yeah, it's a bit of a just a bit of a what's what I'm looking for? A bit of a gutless loss for them, I think on the weekend. But yeah, yeah, definitely huge game for them this weekend up against Sydney at in Perth as well. So I think right now the markets even, but we'll chat about that towards the end of the episode where we make our predictions. Yeah, gold cohost is the biggest loser for me. Absolutely whacked by the Big Brother in the Brisbane Lions. Will was the margin in the end? Seventy three points. Everyone was saying this could be one of the most competitive q clashes yet. I to be honest, I'm not surprised that that was the margin. Obviously it's still crap, but, like I wasn't getting really the hype that Gold Coast for a chance. I'll be at Brisbane without their star player, Lucky Neil. The fact that they can just out out muscle gold coast like that without any resistance. I know Gold Coast were missing a few players and they're still rockless, but yeah, not really good enough in the suns. And right now they sit in fourteen position. And I tell you what, I don't know what Goldka sons fan sink or if there are any buffter already if they finished fourteen or were. If they finished fourteen or worse this year, I think steward Jews in serious danger. Like I know they've got a young list. They look good in every every now and then. They've had a couple decent wins in the past fortnight. But yeah, they've got to start getting results or at least being competitive in almost every game. We look at a team like Eston, who probably have a lot less talent, I would say, then Gold Coast definitely a lot less top round, top end draft picks, and they're getting blown out like that. So yeah, if they finished fourteen told below, I think steward Joe Stud Joe's I think jude you would be looking behind his back. Yes, studio, and I think it seems like he's loved by the players. He seems like a very good blow based on the documentary on Amazon Prime. But yeah, he's got to start getting results somewhere and right now it's a very patchy performances. They probably put up one good match every three weeks at this rate, and that's why they're down in fourteen with teams like Collingwood and stuff. So they've got to start picking up some wins and, you know, can competing on the ladder with the teams like Carl and St Kildafrio, who were probably all in similar stages to them. I know their ages are a lot less, but in terms of skill there's no reason why they shouldn't be up there with them. And then the Port Adelaide thing. I know you said it's just one game, but I think we can't brush over this. I think it's one and three. They lost to Brisbane West Coast and bulldogs and apart from the bulldogs one that was at home, but it's to like twenty point loss, I think, and then the other two were absolute floggings. They've really got to pull their act together. And the problem is with Port Adelaide, they'll come out this weekend against Collingwood, pump them by fifty and everyone will be playing happy families again. But yeah, like they've got a kind of hit that next level, if you know what I mean. Like they can't just be happy with pumping Adelaide in the showdown, pumping, you know, Carl and the GE. They've got to start taking it to these big teams regularly. And yes, they got their winning against Richmond earlier in the season but yeah, too many weak performances in these big games and yeah, the like the chances do than just plucking it out of their ass and finals. If they're not competing with the big teams in the regular season, it's going to be pretty hard for them. So they've definitely got to look at his strategy a way to beat these big teams where they do come up against them, especially at home, which you'd think they would be a good chance to beat most of them at home. So, yeah, I think that was really disappointing for port. I know the dogs are a good team and it's probably we probably should be more positive and look at the dog side of the coin. But yeah, I can't really not mention that from port because that's not good enough at the moment. But yeah, as I said, they'll come out pump hop Collingwood, ever im will go what are we talking about? They're a great team, but until they start beating...

...these top eight teams regularly, I don't really know what to make them. So that's it for me with the losers. With pretty much touched on every team there in the competition. That stuffin. It did pretty well. Now you're part of your part of the show. Mate your top eight and your players of the week. Let rip the beauty. Firstly, I am I think we experience a bit of Te Technical difficulties right here. I mean, you feel my comments get recognized like five seconds after I say them, so a poorly. Just to any listeners. I don't know whose fault that is, but slap on the wrist for whoever it is. But for the top eight. Yeah, yeah, this this Port Adelaide thing. I'm I'm they it's the reason I don't have them in first or second anymore. I'm going to have the dogs in there. I think they've shown that. I know they had their loss to richmond the other week, but they just come out with two really mentally tough wins over the last couple of weeks and define what we all said. It was clear they would have addressed that after that loss against tigers and obviously they came back from a mile back against Carlton and then did the same against Port Adelaide. So for that reason I'm going to have them in on top the day's as well in second it's going to be very hard for them to miss. While I mean top to or three leveler top, for given their nine and own. Now I still think the dogs are going to overtake them. I think they play each other next week, not this week, coming with the week after that is going to be a huge game. It'll be probably the most it'll be the most hot game of this season so far and I think the dogs are going to get up on them. I don't think I think the day's will avenge. They obviously eventually going to lose a game and it was funny on the weekend, I think I don't know if you're watching Carlton Melbourne, but the game was so quiet on the TV. I don't know if you noticed that, but Brian Taylor's whispering and we could hear him in the crowds were just silent. Go back and watch a bit of the game and you'll understand what I mean, but it was really weird. I saw some of the comments on the weekend and people have the same thing. So it wasn't just like my TV are anything, but it was almost like, you know, Melbourne. We just sort of holding their breath waiting for the next worst thing to happen. And I think they will lose next week against the dogs, but I can't wait for that. But I'm going to have those teams in as the top two. So dogs and then the days. It's great that I've said this a million times on this podcast. It's great to not have a clear cut favorite for the flag. I don't have you know, it's I'm not saying dogs going to win the flag, daisy to win the flag. I have no confidence that these will be the order of the ladder finishes in, which is fantastic, but I'm going to have the cats in at three. I just they could take I don't think they're going to finish out of the top four. Now I think this ex I know that it wasn't a really convincing win against the saints and honestly we should have won. I'm not going to touch a Max king because and ever I hear a negative word about him. I just wanted got the person and feed it to my dog. But I'm get to have the cats in at three. I think that extra MINU to goal really helps them and their talent on their list is awesome. Poured Adelaid in it for I know we've just touched on them and I think they're going to drop down a little bit, but like the dogs did against the Tigers, I think they'll address this issue that they're having and hopefully they can stand the bleeding a little bit, stop whatever saw at least make the situation to be better for them. I'm gonna have the Tigers in a fifth. I think they'll just drop a few too many games, given where the injury list is at, and they always they never really finished in the top two or anything like that. Anyway. Obviously in a fine September they always do. I'm going to have the lines in its sixth. I know that's a little bit controversial, given they've just leapt into the top four, but they were playing against Gold Coast in the weekend and probably the worst goal cos a play this season so far, and they they've sort of fluctuated down the bottom end of my top eight during the whole year and it's because I and I have actually made their way out of that top eight a one point. I just don't think they're good enough to overtake the teams ahead of them. Very happily will be proved wrong. So I love their list, but unfortunately to have them at six eagles in at seventh, not really too much to be said there. Think they're too good to miss out but not good enough at the moment to overtake anyone ahead of them. Plus their injury lists sort of same situation. Is Rich and, I guess. And then the ones at eight, very they're just continuing to talk up these wins that they've got to get in order to stay in the finals. Hunt, which is very good from them, shows are very mentally tough team. They're keeping they're distancing themselves away from the teams that are bearing down on them like the law. I mean when I say bearing down, all these teams that I'm about to name just lost but, like you know, Frio and Jos and Carlton sank killed her keeping the distance from them, which is very positive for them. So the more and more wins are they talk up like these ones, these sort of close if you fifty games, you know the better chance they're going to have to make finals and I think they will. So that's the top eight. Unfortunately, all...

...those teams have just mentioned they're going to miss the output. Yeah, I just realize all these collective teams in the hunt lost on the weekend of the Swan's one, so they got swan's got a game ahead of all of them, which is handy for them. But yeah, my plays of the week after watching a prioritize watching the Richmond gws game on the Friday night. Sorry, Saturday night. I don't know why I just did. I wanted to see Hugo else with play and I'd I was. I was what I needed Riley Calle Orkins to play well because I fielded him over like three bench playing players and he got eighty eight. So it's very happy with that. But for this reason I noticed the impact of dusty. Had Twenty eight touches and four goals. He was the difference. Without him they wouldn't have won, and they probably wouldn't. They would have gone, they wouldn't have come back. I don't think dusty really inspired him. He was a force to be reckon with out there and he was huge for the Tigers. Probably another three votes for him. The bonds in at seconds. Another huge game for him on the other channel. Similar game, you know, twenty six touches and two goals and I yeah, I'd love to see his Brown Lords at the mome because he's just having a career best season, I think at the moment. He's just well and truly ended that crip spot debate for now, like we mentioned last episode, and just making saints fans hurt a little bit more every week. And at three first time I can a north belons player has made it onto this list this season Butt Been Cunnington, the the man that looks like he could be one of the eldest in a time and home picked up thirty seven. Twenty seven of them were contested, but also only one was a turnover. So is very efficient with the ball and was just an animal for them in that middle. So against a team that many Hawthorne List Management Officials would have hoped would be playing finals these. You know, ten years down the track with an elite midfield of Tom Mitchell, browner winner and Jay Goomer, next big thing, and Chadwin guard from Port Adelaide, Cunnington and dry Simcananora will mention just run through them and we're just too strong after quarter time. So that was huge from them and that's going to be my top three the week. It's been hard to pick. There wasn't too many massive standouts. You know, there wasn't any sort of bags of seven or like forty, just one coming to the Sea Gat at thirty seven, thirty eight, but you know, no sort of thirty seven thirty. It's from like really hard damaging top end players. So it was a bit more of an even week and I think that showed in the super coach as well. None of my players got over like one hundred and twenty five, so it wasn't the best way for me. But yeah, I'll let you read out your rookie of the week. I'll be honest, I actually have not done by rookie of the week, but you okay, and you mentioned it's a repeat offender, so I'm interested to hear who've gone with. Yes, so I know that who was a Tom Green won the rising Stein nomination. Well done. tooling is an awesome player. I don't have him. I was tempted by our CD but I don't have him. His two goals really helped his his match. Apart from that, he was still a little bit fumbily with the ball and few clangs here and there, so I'm not going to have him in there as well. Kayleb polter my inclusion into my side. This is just almost a wrap up from the super coach team, but polter was dacent as a young story out there with the Best Martin the game. But I'm going to give it to the repeat offender of James Jordan. Twenty touches, thirteen tackles against the blues and he's just keep just continually becoming such important part of their midfield. I know he's obviously not the PE truck or the Oliver of the team, but he's the next one in there and you know it's it's a very handy player to have in those center biances when you're, you know, given the truck rolliver time off. So he was huge. He's just continuously becoming a better and better a player week by week from the APS scholar and he is proving to be the best rookie and super coaches season has been very handy and been someone we can sort of set and forget for now. Since the first half of the season, which has been handy for us and also Melbourne, I guess you know. It's been someone that I can just rely on. We can week out to have these little sort of sixteen seven aiding this week, twenty touch games with most of them being contested, just a bit of a bull in there. So that was awesome from him. and to lead the game in the tackle count as well was huge from the players about nine and twenty years old, less than ten games in his first year of a have proper AFL football. So that was unreal from him and I'll let you move it on to the best segment in the podcast. Yeah, obviously that is the redrafting. But I've got a couple questions for you, mate. First, I was going to I was going to jump in but I wasn't sure how big the lag was, so I didn't want to interrupt your flow, but just wanted to get your thoughts on that group of four. I think you mentioned gws, Free O, Carl...

...and SAT Kilda. Let's say Sydney collapse from here. Which team do you think is the next best of that? That that four teams you mentioned? Are we talking best or best chance of making finals? Go best chance to make your final? That's a very, very good question, because I'm looking at ladder. An ounce of judo is free on saints are rule and sixteen points, which is one behind eight, which is actually Richmond Carlton, of joined by Essendon, Gold Coast and Adelaide on twelve points. So three wins and yeah, look, I think Sydney will. If there is a team to drop out, I think it will be Sydney. So there's only one spot available, in my opinion, for that top eight spot. I don't think it's going to be fair. I just don't. I can't see them getting up making finals. I can't see them winning these won't they're dropping these sort of games that they know they should probably should be winning on paper games again, seems like Essendon. I don't think they're going to be able to make the finals or because they're not going to probably be able to beat the teams are ahead of them. Carlton, I don't think it's well, I mean to be honest, the losses they've had. There hasn't been any losses that from teams that are below them. Most of their losses this year have been against teams that are above them and some of them have been disappointing. Some of them have been chokes, but I still think it would take a lot from Carlton to make the finals from here. But I'm not writing them off. Yeah, the saints. You don't really know what we're going to get from us at the moment. Must be real. The last couple of weeks have been pretty promising. The hawks game was the best game we played this year by a mile. The Gold Coast game was a bit of an ugly win and on the weekend obviously we should have won. So it's very sort of up and down. So I'd love to say I know how we're going to perform the rest of the year, but in all honestly I don't have a sinky suspicion. We're going to challenge the dogs this week, so I think we much up well against them. But in saying that, we could easily get been by ten goals. Depends which outfit turns up, and that's just the case for the whole season. My Garfield says we won't make finals. So unfortunately that's leaves it up to gws and honestly I think they're the best chance. But that has hurt now that toby green is just announced, or not announce? Sorry, it's been announced. Toby Green is out for a while. I could see shaking your head there, because I think you just brought him in. And so, yeah, I'm really torn on that. Questions a very good question to ask me because if if you woulds asked me yesterday, I even though they sort of choked, had a mini choke on the weekend, or a should not a miny bit of a major choke on the weekend, I would have said GEWS. They hit that. A little bit of form watch helped and out of the four, think the list sort of suggest they are in the best position to make that finals jump. But yeah, I really don't know. I'll be honest. I reckon it's between GDOS and saying kilder and Carlton. I think three our last, unfortunately, but I think it's just a miss. When those three maybe get are slightly ahead of saints and Carlton. But yeah, I'm going to leave my aunts to very open ended like that and I'd love to see what my auntswer is in the sort of next few weeks because I think that's going to be very telling as to where the seasons out. I think a huge game this week for Gus. They're playing west coast and at home. So my aunts could be different next week, but we will wait and see. Yeah, I actually agree with you there. For me it would be Gws most likely to make finals and I've St Kildall be the highest ceiling. But I think they're performing a what we saw it last year, but I think we're they're performing a fair way off that at the moment. And then Carlin, I just think they have too many honorable losses that they rack up. And then Freyo, they just crap away from home, a bit like West Coast. So yeah, I'd agree with you ws, but I completely agree with your top eight. I think Sydney are a fair bit better than those teams at the moment. Anyway. I was just listening to your top eight. Their finals sounds so juicy. I know we're only ten rounds in, so we shouldn't be thinking to September, but just to yes some of the matchups yet Brisbane West Coast in an elimination final. Then let's say Brisbane and Richmond when their elimination finals, they would be playing the loser of the too. What do they call them? Qualifying finals? I guess, but the top four games. that. Yeah, look, I don't want to like shit on Melbourne because they should obviously be enjoying this perit white. I see a straight sets exit for MELB head to be mean to them, but you know, I'll let I'll let them enjoy their their period of dominance for now. But yeah, that's scary stuff playing Richmond or Brisbane in a sudden death second week of finals. But yeah, redrafting the two fourteen draft this week we were just talking off Air Rowe said this was tough. I actually didn't find this one too tough, but I probably put a limited amount of research and so maybe that made it easier just randomly pick a name. So once again,...

...as I have the last few weeks, I didn't even know who's mature age. So I'm going to say my ten and then Rowie can let me know off at an immature age is in my tent after and then he will chat about his ten. So starting off with the honorable mentions. I might be saying some of your players here, but I will just quickly touch on them. Gasp Brayshaw, Jordan to Goe leam dug and locky weller and Dan Butler, I believe, other people who made my shortlist but didn't make it. All right, starting from number ten, this guy is weird. I can't I find it hard to get a grip on how good he is because he seems to just kick goals every time he plays. But it's not like a name you see in the opposition lineup and you go or crap, he's dangerous. But it's Jeremy Finlayson. I think he's pretty handy for three goals a week. That kind of bloke. He was a very good second fiddle to Jeremy Cameron. Now him and you know, Himmelberg, I guess, the big dogs in town. Or I don't know if Jesse hogans the big dog or whatever is going on there. But still, as we mentioned in the past few weeks too, key position players are hard to find and I think Jeremy Finlayson. He was a very low pick, I know that for sure, but I think he's a pretty decent player. So He's my number ten. Number nine, this is a personal favorite of mine. I would have him higher, but I know I'd probably get roasted. But Brad and Maynard, ever since he came into the League, I love the way he plays. He's well. He's probably playing a little bit of Miid midtime here there, especially with collingwoods injury list, but has excelled in defensive roles in the past, which is pretty hard to find. I know I keep saying that about most positions on the park, but it's fair to say. And Yeah, I love the way he goes about it. So he's one, number nine, number eight. Before this year he might have missed my top ten, but this year took Miller. He's had a really good start to the year. He could be higher in some people's list, but especially if you played for a Melbourne team. To be honest, you probably would be higher. Openly admit that. But he's one, number eight, number seven, similar to Brandon Manor Finlayson. I like that. He's positions pretty rare these days. There's not too many genuine wingers, but Ed Ed Langdon is certainly one of the best in the competition, if not the best at the moment. You know, he showed signs at freemantle but came across to Melbourne and Excel. Basically that's been a really, really good pick up from them, whereas the long sleeves, as well, which I love. Number six. Before this, maybe two years ago, if we did redrafted this, this guy be in my top three. But he's injury issues have continued, which I thought he would grow out of, and he's turned into a lot more of a forward than a midfield but midfielder. But Isaac Keeney, people were saying he was probably a top three pick in this because he was a Sydney Academy player. He fell down all the way to like sixteen or seventeen or something, but I love the man. Reminds me too much of our good mate Tom Morris. But yeah, sadly I can't put him any higher than six today, even though I think his potentials so, so high. Number five, I think he's one of the best center half backs in the COMP when he does play there. He's been played a bit of forward this year, but does he more? Very slow start to his career played as a forward for I think his first two seasons and basically had zero impact. Look like a big flop. I think you might have been a top ten pick. But yeah, he's a pretty good backman and one of the best players in that Collingwood line up by fair way. Given how about they are at the moment numb. Before Jakie Lever got picked up by Adelaide and then moved over to Melbourne, I think two years ago. Has had a few injury issues. I think he might have missed one or two years with kneem serious knee injuries, but he's a pretty good player in his shown at she him and Stephen Mayer one of the best one two back defensive duo's, so I think he's a really good player. Number three, I'll go throw he's man Jack Steele. He is a bit of a steel. I think he was about pick twenty four or something like that and that's turned out to be very, very good value. GW has picked him up decided just to keep him in the need full for most of his career. He tore it, tore it up week in week out, but that wasn't enough for him to crack at the time. It's very star started midfield and he moved down to Melbourne and he's really shown the whole competition how good of a player and how good looking of a player he is. Number two. This is controversial because I reckon he would be a consensus number one. Pick Four. Ninety percent of the world. Well, the world's new outrage is but you know people who would be redrafting. But it's Christian PETRARCA. I remember this draft very fondly because this was my first you in Melbourne, so I remember this draft...

...pretty much off by heart. But he was pretty high pick. It was he top three, top top forward him and brace Shure, two and three or three two, all right, is don't two. There you go. Try. I could to breast three, bleaty. No, I remember was it year? Nine options, and you taught us the whole like top thirty picks or something draft. I taught you like the whole top. Well, I recite of the top fifty and I got Brownie to recite the top twenty five, I think. So it was. Yeah, and there I think I got to like pick nineteen and twenty myself. But yeah, that's what we did when we were hike in the trails of where was that? Was that the Blue Mountains? Yeah, I think so, wee mountains. It was, was, I'm real true. Actually, yeah, that was good. But yeah, here's the number two. I know people probably think he's right up there the best places in the competition, but I just think I know he's a very unique player in the way it goes about, a bit like a dusty, but I think the guy have a number one is the best player in his position in the competition and that is Harris Andrews. I've mentioned it before. I absolutely I'm an absolute or if this bloke. I just think if you watch Brisbane, if you take him out, I don't even think they're a good team. Like I'd well, they're still a good team. They've got a lot of guns, but I don't think they are a top eight team without Harris Andrews. It reminds me a lot of my sock team in about the sixteen, hundred seventy. We had the gun set about, you you know, the by the name of Bell Barons, and it reminds me a lot of that. If you took him out, we were absolutely garbage. And that's what I think of Harris Andrews. Seems like he defends about two or three blocks at once and takes intercepts at the same time. I don't know how he does it, but yeah, I absolutely love Harris Andrews. So He's my number one, controversially ahead of Petruarka, but any mature ages in there. Otherwise feel free to let rip with your top ten. No, no mature aged in there, I don't think, unless it's off by a year, but I don't think there was any. Yeah, it was one year there where there weren't any sort of standout mature ages, which is nicely young kids. So honorable mention for me. Do Well, how ward, I know unfortunate couldn't get him in there. Ed Langdon as well. I know you had him pretty high out there and blame I loved his transition from Frere to Melbourne becoming a solid player, or really solid player for them and you know, could well be the way they went a premiership really helped with their drive down the ground. So yeah, in fairness could have easily made it in there but unfortunately just couldn't. Probably by eleventh, picked Bailey Dale, obviously having a very good year for the dogs as most improved in the competition, probably by a mile this year, but just put just couldn't quite get him in there. Lucky. Well, I'll lea hi dug in and Dan Butler and Jeremy Feel Lason and number ten I'm going to have Jordan to go ee. He's obviously had very, very good moments of his career. He's had some very, very poor moments off field and on field. You know, there's he's had a contract offer to him, I think it was by north there was very, let's say, inflated and you know he kicked a bag against north few weeks ago and apart from that he hasn't done anything in quite a long time. But the talents there. He's got the dusty traits but hasn't been able to pull the dusty performances, or at least when he has its couple of times in a season. But I think the talent that the talents they're enough to have him in this top ten. I'd love to have a play with his quality at the same time and he could do some real damage. But yeah, it's just it's just been a bit of a rough Patrin to Goy for the past sort of year and a bit. And number and nine got to have Isaac Haney. Just I know you had him in the higher and I'd love to because if you're basing this off talent, he's in my top three but unfortunately just can't get on the park and if you when he does it's only for a couple of weeks and then he's out again. So unfortunately, if this was, you know, twenty seventeen draft, he'd be higher. But you know, they've been in the system for like seven years now, six years, and it's just been non stop and you can't pick anyone else. So the guys I've got ahead of him, you've got to pick them ahead of him because they're playing full seasons and unfortunately he isn't. He's not even playing half seasons really at the moment. So unfortunately I can't have him any higher. And Nife, I'd love to because he's an awesome player. Everyone loves him and the Games a better game when Isaac and he's playing and when he's fitting firing. Unfortunately can't gave any higher. I think he was. It was bitted on. It was weird academy rules back then. It was bitten on it like two or three by Melbourne with the picts that I had for trucker and brake. Sure, but got matched by Sydney as a wood in the modern day. But for some reason he got pushed back to the end of the first round in some sort of weird drafts rule. They got obviously fixed that because it didn't make any sense and that's that. So at number eight,...

...of also got took. The took took obviously been huge for Gold Coast, since they picked him up. All through those really down years when there was all this talk of relocational that took Miller just kept on firing in that midfield. And Yeah, I agree. If he was playing for a club like Carlton or as in or someone like that, he'd be talked about so much more. I know if especially to play. I know how Colum fans are. He played for Culton, he'd he'd have his own religion by this point in time. I imagine a midfield of you know, took, creeps and Walsh, like my I don't even like male supporters of Carlton wouldn't be able to produce any babies this year because all their productions gone into just worshiping that midfield. But if he played for it, saying I can need be just heavily touted. Unfortunately, barely gets any recognition because he plays a gold case. And number seven, Kle Daniel. Look, yeah, I don't I got that's one player I don't think you actually touched on. Yeah, now that I'm just his name didn't even say yeah, awesome, where he's that sort of heart joke, by the way, didn't feat the you lined up everyone of in the twenty four end draft and you set the barrier at a hundred semi centimes and you couldn't quite see him. But yeah, and he's one of the best kicks the camp. But I'm like it to be honest, he's had a bit of an easy role is career. And yes, it's because he's got an incredible kick and you need an incredible kick at that part of the ground, coming out of the D fifty. But to be like, look, there are so many players that can play that role and giving calebs, let's say, stature, he can't play. Well, I mean Lucky Neel does it. I was going to so you can't really play a massive like strong inside midfielder and even sort of drafted sort of a small forward. But it's got grown out of that. Given his a lade kick, you can only play anywhere else other than the like coming off halfback flank, and he doesn't defend, obviously. So he's got a bit of an easy ISS roll, which is why I've sort of gone a be in at seven. Yes, he's got one of the best kicks in the camp, like I've said, because I was barely dale was. We've seen this year. I couldn't get him into this top ten. So if you're going to be saying this best kick in the camp stuff, then you got to have dale in there as well, and unfortunately you can't have him both, and I can only put Daniel tires seventh. Apart from apart from his kick, like don't see what else has offer, but believe he's just been in Australian last years it. Is An incredible player with that boot. But yeah, if he didn't have that then he's purely just a disposal player, like it's the use of it, just his disposal and his ability to rack it up. At number six I've got prayed and may not, who you thought shouldn't be any higher than you had him, but I've definitely got him at six. He's one of the best modern day defenders in the CALMP, sorry olden day defenders of the competition. Just strong, lot of aggression, just locks down one of the oppositions forwards. Very hard role to play as opposed to Daniel, and gets a lot of it too. I mean on the weekend he had twenty nine touches. So to combine, you know, he's defensive this and strengthen just tagging ability. He's also got this ball getting ability, which not many defenders having the competition anymore, which is really really posited from him. He just missed out getting select by Adelaide as a father's silently. His Dad was about eight games off. So would have been awesome for the crows to have him in there, but none less, they ain't. So at number five I've got. This is where I got a little bit easier. I found that I found that five pretty hard to pick. This is where it gets easy. I think they be five. Jake leader seen how good he is this year and his partnership with Stephen May, was obviously a very quality player at the crows and it's come over in the to Melbourne and I you start off a little bit slowly, but he's showing this year how good of a player he is, especially with me. So, as we've always talked about this podcast, keey position players, quality ones, are really hard to come by. They take a whilst develop. Leave didn't take too long and he's going to be a lock in that Melbourne lineup for the years to come and he's playing a very, very he's sorry. He's having a very, very good career for someone that hadn't played football and about a year or two when you were drafted because an acl it also got he was supposed to go top ten, when a little bit later in that first round because of that knee to the crows. But yeah, it's obviously been huge to them this year. So him at number five, number four. Darcy Moore. I know the football world and Carlton A S Collingwood Club Rave, rent and rave about him and yeah, so do I. is an awesome player. Obviously have a slow start to his career but is come on really well. Yes, there the reason I about have him higher because, like we said, we want and rave about these key position players. But is is one unrun abilities, like we saw early in the year. Lots of his...

...game is intercepting, taking these intercept almost uncontested marks and contested and, you know, racking up a lot of cheap he's behind the play. So sometimes he's stats are a little bit inflated. I think against the North game had like nineteen marks but only like one or two contested. But yeah, that like that bullet will believe me. He takes incredible hangs in the game. He's got a really nice kick on him and he's an athletic freak and he can go forward when you need to, but his best positions down back. But I think this, as we're going to see in my top two, there's a key position player in there that does both. Men's on his man, the best tool forwards in the games, but also intercepts. Racks up a lot of it. Darcy Moore racks up a lot of it in steps. Not sure about the one on one. So at number three, Jack Steele. Like you said, I'm an absolute steel in the s when the giants got him, but it's showing to be now. But an absolute steel from the saints to get him in for a pick. Yeah, I think it was a feature second round. Yeah, obviously came in the top five in the Brownlow last year. Had A massive breakout season and it's really helped us in a lot of games where the rest of the team has not performed, especially in the last two years. I think the Gold Coast Gang, you know, who's the one of the only ones that really showed any heart and a few are sorry, in a few other games of season he's obviously done that where, you know, he's kicked two or three and had two thousand and twenty five. Melbourne game was one of the other really terrible losses where he was the only player that rocked up. Yeah, he's just been a revelation for us. So I don't know where we'd be with you at him. And number two, I'm going to go down your path as well. I definitely agree. It's the right way to go, contrary to what you said about, you know, the entire world not not agreeing with you. But yeah, I'm going to go for Truca with to he's obviously a phenomenal player in the forward line and in the middle. Just so gunning that we didn't take him and it was one of those ones. It because in the previous draft with billings and botton all that, which I hope we'll talk about next week, I don't think we've done a re draft on that like we were. I think me and you know, Maxtro out and a few other fellows saying killed fans was sold on billings. You know it weren't considering bond. He was a late he was a late jumper in the draft as well. He was early on. No one's really talking about him. It was only till a few months before the draft he started to get recognition and the last sort of a few weeks leading up to it that he got into the top five calculations. So we're already sold on billings by that point. So it's a bit harder to say. You know, we picked buildings over bond, but this one we were on a we were on per truck of for months and months and months and months and obviously we went the carton over him. So this one I'm claiming that we would have done it differently so we could have had petrucker. That midfield was steal. Unfortunately don't, but he's an incredible player that obviously got the dusty traits of the goal kicking midfield are such a valuable position these days. So many brownlows of one from it. When I say so many does there's only so many brownlows to go around. But brownlows are one from it and I expect but truker is hopefully get to win one. It was same, very close last season, but player of his, you know the types of players like the petrukers. They get to be very hard to stop when they're fitting firing. But at number one it's obviously me, Harris Andrews, picked up in the S. I forget I was doing this redrafts thinking yeah, it's probably be Choco a charker, and then I saw Harris Andrews, like holy sh that's right, there's Harris Andrews in this draft when I was just going over just then. So I think there's first time we've done this when some one in the s has been really at least just past pick twenty, has been the number one pick. So yeah, he's obviously got it all, Harris Andrews. He's incredible leader, he's incredible one on one, he's incredible in the packs, he's incredible intercepting. Yeah, stincre will plays the best tall defender of the competition. He's got it all. There's nothing he really lacks. Maybe he could get a touch more of the footy, but like he racks up as enough is he should like that. You really can't rack up much more than footed if you're playing, you know, mental men for a lot of the game and doing all this sort of stuff. So Yeah, Harris Andrew is definitely one, number one. He's almost a lot for the unless he gets injured. Unlock for the tall defender position, one of them in the Australian teams for the next sort of, you know, five, six, seven, years to come. He's an absolute animal and he's definitely my clear cut number one. There's no debate there once I saw his name. But yeah, that's not that's the top ten. There were a lot bit similar actually. I thought I'm going to be more different, given I discussions prior to the Potty, but I think they've been more similar than I was anticipating. Where would you have cale Daniel? If where would you slide him in now, just...

...out of interest? Well, to be honest, if I read did it. I know this sounds like I'm just copying you, but yeah, I actually disagree with how low I have braid and Maynard. So I'd probably go maynards six, Daniel Seven, Miller eight and then lane to nine. I probably I'll I think I've missed a number there, but yeah, he'd be somewhere in the seven or eight range. I don't think I'd have him too high. I don't think he is anywhere near the top five. And then yeah, he's in that mix with Heeney, Miller Maynard for me. But yeah, I don't know, I just completely miss out on the on the draft list. But I tell you what, I want to play that Caleb Daniel role in local footy. But there's no lease because there's no clean possession of the ball, so you actually physically can't do like. I actually think I'd be decent at it as well, because I'm a little bitch, so I'm not good in the content. Yeah, but like I'm just I'm a decent kid. I'm a decent kick, so I think I'd be okay that. But yeah, I agree with you. It's a very easy role. Human Jake layder very the shiplocks really, but now I respect it. It's cheeky but I love it. But yeah, also, big shout out to Lee him dug in, and I'm not bagging out west coast here, but I think in a parallel universe leam dug and would be in the top five of this draft. I think he's he's got one of the best kicking like I think he's one of the best kicks in the AFL. But the role he plays, he doesn't get many touches. So you know he's getting fourteen fifteen a week and there's been I think there was a game earlier this year he got about twenty six or seven touches and he was best on so yeah, it's a bit of a shame the role he's playing. I don't think it's used utilizing his skills as best as they can and I think if you played somewhere else he'd be a lot more damaging player. But yeah, I thought I just mentioned that because he's pretty handy. And while you were talking I was just thinking about the dogs and I was singing a rookie the week up. Completely forgot if I had to pick one already. Yeah, yeah, Cody Whitman kick three goals, including it over the head, where I'm surprised he's how he didn't pop. But yeah, that was very impressive. I still think he's going to be a gun. I remember watching him when he was in year ten and he was taken hack marks despite being like a meter seventy at that point. So yeah, I think he I think he's got more to give. But onto the super coach chat for the week. Mate. I'll start us off all right, week, I thought I was going to crack the two one hundred. Didn't end up getting there. I think I fell ten to twenty short, but it wasn't the worst week. Increased in rank a little bit. Should be within the top fifty, maybe forty k after the buy rounds. As I'm sure there's a lot of people in the top K you haven't really thought about buyers, whereof I have. So that's something I obviously don't take advice for me because you're probably right ranked above me to those listening. But yeah, your trades from here on in should really well for the next three or four weeks. Definitely think about the buy a rounds. Obviously you still want to be getting the best players for your team, but you know, if you're got a fifty in one's got a better buy, really start to think about that, even if you've been forgetting about it so up to this point. So yeah, by teams probably a little bit behind others. I'm we were talking about it in our super coach chat. WHO HAVE ANY NON premiums? Everyone has left. As I mentioned in my reply to that chat. I think there was some seriously outrageous claims. I think someone was claiming fantasia to be a yeah, a keeper, despite having a five round average of five fifty seven. But yeah, I think I have a couple spots behind most in that in that situation there. But I think come then, the I think I'll have an okay team. But, yeah, how is your week and what? Who? What are the best premo targets for you? This Week? This, this weight, torched me. I dropped a KAN ranks from two thousand to three thousand and the yeah, a lot of factors went into that one. I had for the second week in a row, I had over three hundred K in the bank, which, which, which was all right last week's I actually jumped in the ranks. This week it touched me because I had, you know, a couple of extra rookies on the field that no one else had. So that really cost me bows injury. was any just a disaster. Forty five on a field for one of my now he's obviously a fake premium now. So that's fantastic. And just like the likes like yeah, these having this phone a kind of bank. The only reason I did it was because no rookies to bring in this week. So had I think lots of people did the double gown grade last week, which I did well, the other sideways in a down grade. So I'd likes of, you know, joive Farre and Harrison Jones on the field and they combined like a hundred and...

...it's just wasn't great. Tommy Powells well forty five and Zach Merrick getting ten sixty four just torch me. So not, not great. Looking to bounce back and to this week and next week. Yeah, I've got I'm gonna be while. I'm going to run you through my team. Really I'm I'M gonna be very selfish here. I've got so I'm going to hop you holding bows. He's going to stay on my bench for hopefully can be back after his bier. Just got to get these rookies on the field and I just can't afford to waste literally just one trade on him because it sets back my team. So I'm going to keep him. What would you do, which I've got to feel two out of three of these players, it's high more Nathan Murphy and Kiujit Skiski caught the it would be hard more murphy straight away, and it will probably still want to do that because he's playing Carlson at the G do you? I cannot bench cozy because that's the way I'm learning. But what do you reckon? Well, do you think harm more is going to play? Yeah, it's a very good question. If he doesn't play US my that's my that's so. Yeah, well, I think definitely start Murphy and then he comes back. That says there's he should theref. He should be back. He should be and I yeah, he's a I think it's a good score. So definitely Murphy. Let's say those three applying. Yeah, I'll back in. I trust defenders more than forward, so back in high or me. But yeah, that there is a chance that, because she'ski, Goes Big on your bench. So that would be yeah, yeah, exactly be. I'm going to I'm going to keep that. Yeah, bought mccrae huge, all of the huge merit. All right, Mare. and Tom Mitchell, who's been the most frustrating trade in this year. I brought him in for danger after round whine. It's just been the worst moves I gotten. Walsh could have been blind as much. It's a joey. It's been a disaster with I could have been much high in the ranks, but he's cooked me Tom Pale. Everyone's jumping off him. Going to hold them on for a little bit longer. I don't really understand and I'm jumping off. No, he's got to break him in a hundred but a couple of decent s and he'll be fine. And he's got the abilities do so's he's everyone's forgetting he's eighteen years old. He's literally two years younger than us. It's gonna have a down great, he's gonna have a down game. James Jordan huge, code organ's huge. Not Confident on this week, though. Grundy gone here, a captain's gone. Should have gone oliver and hindsight, but I hope the prospect of gone rocking by and self is too attractive. But should have, should have read more into it. Knew Oliver was safer and giving it was a bit a little bit wet of overcast conditions. Oliver it was probably the better go. But didn't do that. Obviously. Then Aaron Hall huge inclusion this week did very well for me. IMP's evil solid. Chad Warner are sort of rack up these fifty S, but he's it. He's never the what the biggest problem in my teams. He's hanging in there. And then obviously Jones and Fara terrible. So bewy K of got a hold bows field, high more and Murphy's. We said, I'm going to fix my forward line. Gone Jones and Fara, straight to dusty and Nick Hind, who borrow by the look of it. But the way forwards a going at both keepers. So get to back those two in. Now the four lines looking a lot better. Was Zeebel Hind, Hale, IMP Martin and Chad Warner. So basically just one upgrade. They're left in Warner once bows comes back. One upgrade left there. But I'm going to be doing that next week. I'm going to hopefully go cozy too short. I've done the calculations and by doing it down grade and upgrading cozy. I need short to get no more than about ninety six, which is like his Braak. Even so, I'm going to have them from fingers crossed on this weekend. The short only got to that amount, but yeah, then that'll be a full primo defense. Five out of six premier forward full primer mock, obviously, and then just got a focus on fix the other midfield. Still got POW Jordan and Kalie ORK and stuff grade. But yeah, I think a few people are maybe one or two moves ahead of me. But I elected to save, I think, trades for one extra week early on the season. So after making trades this week, I've still got sixteen left. So I'm not even halfway through them yet. I've planned my buyers ages ago, so I think I'm going to be fine for them off here. Yeah, I mean that's one comment made before disaster. I'm going to be revisiting that one in a few weeks. But yeah, after yeah, I'm not even halfway through the trades, or barely hot, just about halfway through, and rather got about five upgrades to go. So this year's slightly different strategy of just using up most of your trade to the start just to get a full premro team so that when you've got ten trains left in the last ten weeks, you don't have to make upgrades. All you've got to do is sideways trades. You only use one, so you're just hoping. You know, worst case scenario there's like one injury a week. So it's definitely helped the rank that strategy, and not this week, but overall I'm so yeah, I'm praying that Leon Cameron Plays Matthew Flynn for one more...

...week? I don't think he will, because if he doesn't play this week, I think he's just going to go for me because he's then not going to play until after there by. I've worked it out, obvious. It doesn't take a Jenue to work that out. But their buys like two weeks away. So they're just going to play Mumford for the next two weeks, which is what they've been doing, and then they'll give him his week off during the by and the month will just play off of the buy again. So we're not going to see Flynn for a while if we're going by Leons tactics. So if Flynn doesn't hold his spot, he's going to be going for me. Well, if or if he does and then gets dropped, you will be going as well. So it'll be probably finally time to cash him in. And Yeah, it's looking all right. I can't wait until I get these rookies off the field because it just can't wait to see what these teams that look like in about a month or so. But yeah, it's my extensive look into my team that no one else cares about. But yeah, it's coming along nicely. At Gutting two point loss to the invincibles in one of the League's to Jack Grender. Apart from that it's going okay. But yeah, really getting to lose over A K in my season rate to three downs, two hundred and fifteen. But hopefully you can write back. Yeah, I think it sounds like you're pretty well equipped for buyers, so hopefully you saw back up then. Yeah, it's I just remembered I'd five hundred Kane the bank. So the fact I didn't get likes eighteen hundred, I'm actually okay with that. Yeah, I did the double down crade like you. I went pulter an OCD. They were just too tempting to knock back. But just when you're talking to just made me remember a few things. I have to say. Maxicorn's been shy for me. I didn't start with you, I didn't start with him, and then I finally everyone was like, I know, you've got to have the two premo rocks, you got to do it, and then I did it about four weeks ago and I think he's gone over one hundred and ten like once since I've got it. So yeah, that's been a bit shattering because I thought I was getting a certified like one D and thirty plus every week there. But anyway. But also another thing. I calculated it this week after Toby Green's injury. I know everyone's had injuries, but I'm going to appeal for some sympathy here. I've had seven injuries to four hundred K plus players. So I feel like I've been a bit stiff there. I won't name them because some of them is seriously shit players, but I will keep it keep it in mystery. So you think it's like danger and stuff, but it's really not. It's like leave dug in. But anyway. So yeah, and then another thing. We forgot to talk about this in the normal footy part, but the essening coach, don't know his name. Is it rotten or something? But yeah, him complaining about ZAC Americ getting tagged. Grow Up. No, yes, she's sorry, just grow up. But yeah, anyway, I just wanted to touch on that. But I was looking at the in the mix. I'm pretty excited this week. Apparently Waterman's back, hopefully, and then apparently this is according in the mix, which is never it's always a bit more aggressive in terms of dropping in promotions and then they reckon. Josh Tracy is also back for free, Oh, which, to be honest, doesn't really matter for me. Doesn't matter. I'm not going to trade him out and he has the same buyers gone and Grundy, so he's never really going to play for me. But you know, the less DMP's the better, I guess I think about that. In the mix they've listed Sam how used to come in for nine weeks straight. Yeah, they actually hasn't got a key and this this week happened again. So I'm not sure how much I trust in the mix. But yeah, it's always a great rate. But yeah, yeah, same, hey, it's got to be unluckies. Football a going by that. Yeah, I don't even read it. I just like scan for my super coach names. Yeah, yeah, I saw him. was meant to get dropped and yeah, but my premo targets this week I'm looking at dockerty and Guthrie Right now. I think they're both certified premiums and their positions. I think I'm just going to leave my forward line for a little bit. But now I was thinking about it and even though do it, he's a gun, I'm thinking of going to premium mids because they're going to score more than premium defenders. But so it's either going to be guthrine bond or guthing dockerty. So we'll see. You could do this. That's ridiculous. Yeah, I've got five hundred K. So yeah, and I'm training out Toby Green, so I've got Casady cash to burn. And also I think my I think my Megapod, Jack Buckley, is leaving now. He's peeked. He peeked at three hundred and ninety five K. I think he got to so yeah, he's like actually, yeah, we're sold like one hundred and seventy sixty k. So he's done all right. But yeah, the scoring starting to fall and at this point he's struggling to get on my field. So I'm not going to have four hundred k roughly sitting in my bed. So I think green him are going to be gone. So I might be left with a little bit of money next week anyway. But so dockerty and Guthrie a likely, potentially guthing bond.

But if you need a forward, I know you hopped on him last week the Aarron Hall or the week before. I can't remember what you said, but are awesome. Aaron halls very tempting, and then another midfielder, if you need someone else. Jared lions is still under owned, which is pretty weird, but he's a beast. And then the rookies to look at this week. I don't think there's too many spicy ones on the bubble, but I would watch if Lucky Jones returns. However, I'm still not even that sure about his job security. So I would probably look at the three guys who have played three games. That's our CD, Caleb pulter and Dathan Murphy, if you haven't got them already. I've got all three and I'm sure a lot of people will have all three already. But they've only had one price rise and I think all three of them are really good rookie options. I know for me personally, Murphy and Pulter don't have a good buy, but it is round fourteen, so you've got time to plan for that one, I guess. But Yeah, Lucky Jones is probably the only one interest that of interest, but he's not even predicted to come back this week. So yeah, that's a bit sound on the rookie front. So I'm very glad I doubled down to the last week. Whether it's a good some good options. But any other rookies you want to mention? No, I haven't a looked at the rookies this week and I think I knew that from last week. It was doing a couple of double upgrades this week to dust in hind so I was well looking at rookies to get out. So and yeah, it was touching that I was looking at who to whod to down grade to next week and there's no one like the most appealing one was Ronan O'Connor from Adelaide, and even he was in the mix to get dropped. So yes, so, yeah, if I do it down great next week and it's not flynt toward non playing player, it's going to have to be Scott to well, either guy's just played, played one game or a debutant. So I'm just haven't even bolted to look at rookies this week and last week. It's more about if there's any to come in the next two weeks, because might have to buy the bullet and go a game. We're too early on them, but you is what it is. Yeah, just just not at the moment really sort of dried up, but I in the mix has a few of them coming in. Like I just question they're accuracy, but I think there's a few sort of bubbling around in the in the seconds that are hopefully going to get some games soon. So being as crossed they do. But yeah, note on the moment. Really it's bit bit of a there's not a lot of life in the the rookie lake at the moment. Yeah, thankfully kind of loaded up to last three or four weeks, so not really that stressed about it at the moment. But Yeah, can't lie the next month. I know it's not ideal and buys. You want everyone to be playing, but there might be a few one or two point four down grades just to give me a look, give me a loophole and some bolt cash. But we'll see how we go or right. It's been a long one, but will kick on to our preview. I actually can't lie. I think this is an easy week for tipping, and I guess it's. I guess it's arguably easy week for betting, but it never is in sport. But there's a couple ones that I'm not sure on. But especially I think it's the sad day there's about three or four that I'm pretty confident in, but my sure better the week. Even though I think Gold Coast will be competitive and I think they might bounce back after really disappointing last week, I just can't see Geelong losing to them. Geelong GMHBA is obviously one of the toughest places to go to and get a win. Gelong room pretty good form. Now they start to hit their straps and I just can't see them losing to this outer form Gold Coast side. So that's my shot. Better the week. What's your shot? Better the week? May? Yeah, Gelong, Jan's Gold Coast. Much more to be said. I'll just monster him. I think the same match last year, gold crist in it for a little bit. They're actually ahead. I think the second or third quarter. Betty King was on fire, but Jong eventually runner of the top of them. Hopefully Gold Coast do the same and continue about this week, but unfortunately glong just be too good. A simple as that. Believe that was the match of Matt Rowl's death. But that's shout out to shout its money, yea. But yeah, that's where the brownlow dream came crashing down. But upset of the week. I'll be honest. I'm only actually tipped one upset and it's look, at this point I don't even I probably should stop tipping them because they've dogged me twice. We said it last week, but I'm going to say it again. I think free Oh will upset Sydney. I would listen to this because I overrate Free Oh and I underrate Sydney. So it's a recipe for disaster. But they're paying a dollar ninety four, so it's about even odds. At OPTA stadium. Frez pretty good at home, a bit like West Coast. Think they might bounce back after a disappointing away loss to Essendon. Sydney, you know, they might be a little bit complacent after a great start to the year, and Free I might...

...catch them napping. But yeah, realistically Sydney Will Win, but let's let's back in for a one up. Watch your outset of the week. I've actually got free over there as well. I know their games. The odds are very even at the moment that I think it's a typical free performance where they are going to have that you know, very sort of heartless loss against the team like the bombs where they should beat them and then they're going to come back home and beat a similar team and then they're all going to think yeah, like you know, they're growing. They're growing. So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. If they want, I probably tip them, don't mind. The Tigers against the lines, could see another huge dusty. You know, twenty five plus four world performance. On paper I think it's still pretty even, even though Richmond of gots their injury woes in the moments. But on grass over and Brisbane. Brisbane a very, very good so and then just a couple. I'm not going to I'm not going to include them in sigma. I'm just going to sort of float it out there. Don't mind. I don't think Adelaide against the days is the worst called ever to be made. This is going to come back to buy me. The days are obviously nine and know ad later obviously rebuilding. But I mean the crows, in front of their home crowd, text is coming back the days. I think they're sort of holding their breath a little bit against in the Carlton Game, but Obviously Obviously One crows did it against the cats. You can see, I know if you have watched Fox footy can see that pressure gage that they often pop up. I could see the crows having that on Max level this whole game on the weekend. I think it's going to be they're going to be fired up. They're obviously playing at and thirty five, which I don't know. I don't know that the when they beat the cats was in the daytime and everyone just got up and I think it's something similar could happen here. I'm not sure. I'm just sort of floating it out there. Not Going to put anything more into it because it won't get up, obviously, or probably won't, but it's going to let that sit there for a while, let it simmer. And the same goes with the saints. Of the dogs. We match up against them well. We have upset them a few times the last few years. But I'm going to be bit more pessimistic on the saints because I'm a pessimistic supporter and I just don't think rob is going to get up there will any way too good. We can lose but ten goals, but we match up well against them and we have. We obviously came back after the covid break last room round to and turned it on at Marvel and beat them and have been a couple of instances in the past, like I said, but it's going to float those two out there. It's to top teams in the COP right now that I wouldn't be surprised if there was one upset in there, and if there was too, then call me a Jennie, but I'm just going to leave it there. Pretty Spicy. Actually, I don't mind it. Take the other one I'm interested in. Well, as a couple you mentioned rich but I don't mind that. This week I did the same thing. I debate tips orline tips put my margins next to them. The other smallest margin is west coast. Actually said West first will win by one point because for me it's a bit of a flip of a coin. So we'll be tipping west coast. They are the favorite, but I guess that means I think gews or solid chance. They're so they are the underdog at home. The most appealing betting lines of the week? I'll be honest, it's not too many. Most my predicted margins matched up with the handicap, as you mentioned. I think Richmond with a sixteen and a half handicap is pretty solid. I've got the lines winning narrowly. I've got it by five points at the moment. But so richmond, well, the lines with a sixteen point five handicap, I guess. I guess they're the team that's been handicap there. I think Richmond won't get blown out. I can't see Richmond a get smashed. So I think could be a close one. They could even win. So I think at the line they're decent. And then Essen and they're tough team. I know I was saying their camp consistent before, but I do like to tip against some losing and they usually proved that wrong. But they're playing North Melbourne. North Melbourne coming off a win, probably less you know, they might be less up and about to get their first win of the year. Place was set recovering from their celebrations and yeah, exactly. So the lines only nineteen and a half. Essence of been in decent form. So I think essendon could blow them out of the water and I think nineteen and a half is pretty small. That's only three goals, basically. So I've got Essen and by thirty and too, I think that's okay. So they're the only ones I'm interested in. Are there any you want to mention? Well, this is why I will jump on undelaide. I think plus thirty one point five against the days isn't bad at all. I don't think I'll get blown I know we saw it a few weeks ago against the giants where they did get blowing out the water at home. But I don't know, I think I'll. I think it's a reasonable chance this line to get up. I think I'll...

...turn it on. The D's Aren't known for blowing teams out of the water and I think thirty one and a half points is very doable for Adelaide. The cats can give him forty two and a half. Getting to win by war than that against the suns, I don't think is that bad and I'd I just said that there could be an upset brewing. But the dogs are twenty three and a half isn't bad at all. To beat saints by more than four goals. Look, probably will happen. We saw it last weekends the cats. You know, they got us by three plus goals, which we should have won, but there you go. So yeah, dogs every chance as well. At Marvel. I'm feeling bold and all that. are going to be huge. But, like I said, upset brewing. So yeah, they oh, yeah, the only one I'm really in me talking up there is the cries, because the cats are similarly. I mean since since Jeremy Cameron's came they've started to really take advantage of their quality list and quality attack especially. So I'm actually I'm going to have Adelaide as my favorite line of the week. They're for by the cats and the dogs ones. But yeah, like, I agree with you, there's not, not, nothing to appealing this week in the markets. Might try and save a little bit of money this week. Got Four bonus bets and might just be using them. So we'll see what happens. But you'll see it those lines get up. Are you going to any games? So fat I might be going to saints Dogg's, regrettably, but will wait and see. Yeah, I think I'll be able to Port Collingwood, the battle of the black and light stripes. I guess it is the wall, the bag pass. Oh, yeah, I'll be great. Yeah, yeah, I think Paul will when easy, but probably we'll still get down with your boy pilch. So that's it for the episode. Now the comprehensive review and preview of round nine and ten respectively. Think we did pretty well today. I said last week was did I say last week was an eight? I think I'll give us any today. Yeah, ten during next week. Yeah, that that well, I can't see why I can't happen. But yeah, me forgetting Caleb Daniel has brought us down to a nine from a tense. Yeah, my, that's on me. That's on me, boys. I'll be back next week, but once again, as always, thanks for joining me, mate, no problems, absolute pleasure. Yeah, and that's an hour and fifteen minutes of pure waffle and we've loved every minute of it. Thanks for joining us, thanks for joining me row, and we'll see you all next week. Cheers.
