Welcome back to the other ball podcast. This is episode a hundred and thirty three of the show, if I'm not mistaken, and we're here once again for our weekly afl chat, once again joined by Robbie. How are you mate? Um, mixed, very mixed after the weekend. Well, when I say Mike's very, very flat, but it was a good weekend of football nonetheless. Sorry. Yeah, I guess I'm all right now. How are you? Yeah, I'm pretty well, pretty well, we were just chatting off there. There's meant to be the super moon tonight and I have been left a little bit disappointed. But I swear these things are once in a million and then they seemed to happen every two years. But don't know what that is. And obviously a lot of news at the moment. It is Wednesday for US recording this. The Hawthorne Gold Coast Game is just being postponed, so they're having their by this week and that's basically all we know so far. There's I don't think. I think at the moment they're still crowds, but you'd have to imagine that's not going to take place. Yeah, yeah, like we're prettish, confident we'll be in lockdown for the weekend. So would doubt they'll be crowds. I'd imagine the rest of the Games will go ahead, buying like a covid case in the actual teens. But yeah, probably just no crowds and that sort of situation probably same as last year. So it doesn't affect the AFL too much, gladly. A little bit of an effect on Super Coach, which we might touch on it a little bit, but not not too much to be honest. But looking at round ten of the AFL, that was last weekend, winners and losers. Mate, who were the biggest winners in your opinion? First off, the Brisbane lines. I had sort of flowd the idea that I richmond might upset them, but Brisbane proved to be too strong. It was obviously good test for and Richmond, or obviously one of the teams the competition that just take advantage of the momentum that they get and can really make you pay for it. But Brisbane were too strong. Is a very good performance from them with the very talented, talented list that they've got. Even so, sorry, given that we've obviously had a few things to say about it this year we've sort of question how good they really are, but I think Friday night sort of they stampled their effect on the competition to say that they are still here and they are good enough. Adelaide as well over Melbourne. That was an incredible win from them. Let's look on Friday night. I had a friends twenty one. I got a bit of an earfull from Jack Broad Been Tomas Tomoras, being a Melbourne Fan of course, about how I just talked the days down, about how I said that Adelaid would going to maybe win. I mentioned that I lowate to the fact that they would win and I was backing their line. But not only did the line get up, the crows got up. So right back at him I was and brody, I was right and I wasn't talking absolute dribble. The crows did the exactly what I expected them to do. They took advantage of the Adelaide home crowd. The pressure gage was off the scale, which is exactly how they like to play over there, and it does seem to be a very tough ass now going over to Adelaide ovall, facing the Adelaide crowd and coming away with the wind, as we saw earlier the year. Adelaide, obviously what the upset win overach a long and last year they got their first winner of Hawks Adelaide over. So it is starting to prove a very tough location and they are building their own little mini fortress, which is what I alluded to before the season began with Adelaide. Could use that to their advantage. So I like to think that my predictions are coming to light. So that was a very, very good win for them. The dogs as well. I'm going to I won't really touch on the dogs more than to touch on the saints. And another huge winner for the weekend was gws. The many punch's jumped on the eagles when they heard toby green was out, and so did I, but the giants proved to be too strong and they show that they do have the talented list and they are really making a push for the eight. There is one, maybe two spots up for grabs, but probably only one the moment to round out that eight and I think the giants are really really going to come home strong, even with Toby Green out. Really showed west coast that they do have a travel problem. It hasn't gone away. I think they're unbeaten. It optus, but they're almost haven't won a game outside of it. So really worrying times for them because obviously you can't win premierships adopt this. They obviously proved that they can when on the G in two thousand and eighteen. However, this isn't two thousand and eighteen. It's three years down the track and maybe they're traveling is gotten worse? It may appear so, but it's obviously on. The round. Ten has just gone, so it's still nearly halfway through the year, so we don't have a full gage on...

...where they're at, but it is can definitely be assumed that they do have a travel issue and we can see if they can rectify that later in the season. But who were your big witness from the weekend? Yeah, agree with you with Adelaide and gws. I have to say I've been pretty harsh on Le on Cameron in the past. will not necessarily the past month, but the start of the season, especially if you look at their injury list and then consider how well they've gone in the last six weeks. It's pretty incredible that they're notching wins up against the top quality teams. So yeah, that race for the eighth position in particular. I'm pretty confident in the top seven is what we think of will be. But I do think that eight spots up for grabs. I think Sydney, gws and freer the main contenders, and free on Gws both had big wins and free as was over Sydney. So yeah, gws, I think they're probably the most informed team out of those three, so they're looking very good to sneak into that final spot. FREEO got the win against Sydney. I'm not sure about their finals hopes, as I was just checking the run home and I think there's is probably the tough of the three. But to beat Sydney, you know, I guess you can. They say that kind of matchups like a eight point match, because that means Sydney loser game, and at the moment they're only on the outside of the top eight by percentage. So yeah, they've kept themselves well and truly in the hunt with a pretty solid winn against Sydney. And Sydney kicked very straight. They keep saying like thirteen goals, six binds or something like that. So normally when a team kicks very accurately like we saw with the Adelaide game usually helps him get over the line, but Freeo were good enough to, you know, just create enough chances that it didn't matter how accurate Sydney were. So yeah, solid win from Free O. Goodwin by GWS and also Essendon, I thought, even though north of pretty average, to for this s and team, Essen and team, to be a team by seventy two. I think it shows how far they've actually come, even though they are beating the eventual wooden spooners like I don't think anyone would have thought Essen and would have been capable of a seventy two point victory this season. So that's their second big victory of the year in terms of margin. So yeah, even though it was north, thought was pretty good fit. I'm I'll touch on the losers first up. I'll leave maybe the saints to you. I know we talked about them. You actually probably yeah, I think you're a bit probably sick of it at this point, but I've actually my two loses. I actually the teams of the on the ball podcast. Thank guild import port. Some people might say I'm a bit harsh putting them in here, but we get them a bit of a spray last week being disappointing in the big games and I was joking, well not jokingly, but I was just missing or Collingwood at or you know, I was pretty dispectful to the thought port would easily come out and pump them by forty old and in the end they just scraped over the line to beat Collingwood by a point. So yeah, I thought that was pretty disappointing from port because usually what they do is they lose the big games and then come out and pump a small team and everyone doesn't care. But they've actually backed it up with another poor performance. So I was talking to Pilch, obviously friend of the show, and he was saying he was actually like not that bothered by it because he said they played so bad and they still managed to win. But I'll saying to him, and he did agree, like if you're going to be a premiership team, even when you do play bad, you probably should beat someone like Collingwood by like twenty or thirty. It shouldn't really be beating them by point. So yeah, I thought that was a little bit disappointing. I know they still did win and the the good teams have to win dirty sometimes, but probably cutting it a little bit close of then, you would think. And Yeah, I think in the last month or so I think we've realized how important desma and in particular Zach butters is to the team. Obviously ZAC butters are starting to get a lot of credits in the last wall like eighteen months of his career, but I think now, with his absence and the decline in ports performance, I think pretty clearly either there's definitely a correlation there and it shows how important he is. And I just think there's a few passengers in the port team right now that I don't think. If we look at the Richmond Team, I think all twenty two put in a shift pretty much every week in terms of like, you know, when they've been winning flags, and that doesn't really happen in the port team. Like there's still four or five blokes who don't rock up every weekend. In particular, I think the likes of Connor Rosy really needs to step up. I think he had like seven touches on the weekend. I don't know if he's playing with injury right now, but he looks nothing like we thought he was going to be. And then there's the people who you know, three hundred, four five years into their creer, like Todd Marshall, Riley Bonner...

...and Ryan Burton, who they've all showed glimpses at different stages in their careers. But if this port group is going to go on to win a flag in the next couple of years or even this year, that they're the caliber of player the need to step up, because right now travis boke alliws, Robbie Gray, they're doing everything they need to do and they're being they're having to carry the pourteen quite often. But it's those role players that need to step up, like we've seen in Richmond Games, in their big finals, blokes like pick it, Jack Graham, Lean Baker. They all step up when it matters, and now the port it's kind of similar. Echelon players need to start doing the same if they're going to look to be a premiership contender. But yeah, that's my little rant about poured over. I actually don't know what's happening to connor rows like I remember after the first year he looked like he was going to be an absolute jet. I remember pilch saying he reminded him of like I think a few experts were saying that as well, that he reminded a lot of people of nap fife in his first year, like just had all the skill, kid goals, was really small, but when he bulked up they'd expected him to be like a gun inside more than yeah, rosy is not really improved that much since his first year. If anything, is probably gone backwards. But yeah, I don't know what's happening there. So if you want to talk about Saint Kilda, mate, or touch on port whatever you want to do. Yeah, I'll just quickly know. West Coast big loose. I just touched them, though. Obviously have that huge trouble issue Sydney as well. I know we've talked about in the last episode chalking up all these little wins and this is one of those wins that they could have gotten against team that's arguably not too far behind them, but I'll obviously fell short being a top eight team or a team that wants to make the top eight. Sydney probably should have come away with darving the dying minutes of the seconds of the Game Rather Olive Florent had a chance to hit two targets and the inside fifty like was will haywood and maybe heeny kicked it straight over then went for a miracle goal from fifty out and missed. So bit of a don't come on nay moment there from Mollie. But yeah, the big issue is saying Kildo Guid it was terrible. About six or seven of US saints fans gathered it one household and watched us just get absolutely fisted by a hundred and eleven points. So the on the car ride home I had a very good chat to good friend Luckey Jones, who we just basically tried to dissect the whole problem. It's ultimately come down to the play development, I think of our players. It's not so much the list management as many people are happening on to it to it be about if we look at the least this is what I've alluded to the last few weeks as well. We compared Carlson coming and St Kilda. If we look at the a plus players on our list, or is it's or just running out on Saturday night, you've got Jack Steel and no one else. You can't have bread hill in there, given the year he's had and last year. The yeah, there's literally no one else in consideration for an a plus elite player. You look at all the other teams the competition. Let's at least go through top eight. So Brisbane obviously had the likes of mccluggage is coming through, Jared Lions Orco Harris, Andrews rich and we don't even need to talk about the dogs. We know who they are, Bob mccrae, just basically they're in time midfield. The days obviously have put truck and they've got gone. They've got all of our either Swan's, you know, have jpk Luke, Parker, Buddy Franklin, obviously Tommy Papley. You know port, you know you just touched on there's and west coast as well with their key position players and their elite midfield. And the other teams obviously just long. Most of their lists are late. The Oh that we're saying killed are. We've only really got Jack Steel and were obviously marshals in the wings and I classify him as elite. But apart from that is really no one else. And that's the issue because from the last sort of six or seven or eight years of drafting you'd expect a few of them to come through and become elite, which is what's happened with about fifteen, sixteen seven, just about era other club. They've had a few players come up and come through, and the more successful clubs had more come through. We haven't had any, as I've touched on the last previous weeks. They've been good enough to be in the best twenty two. They've been good enough to say, Yep, I'm going to progress in my future years when I get older. But that's been the mindset for the last few years of those plays, so that every week we've got sort of mediocre B plus players running out there. It's about fifteen, sixteen of them. They just creates a massive false sense of belief when we chalk up these wings, because they're good enough to get wins against the average poor teams, but they're not good enough to carry the teams storry, to carry the team in these sort of hard foot matches because they're not a plus players. And the problem is they are the players that I guess you can consider undroppable or very hard to drop, because they are good enough to be in that best twenty two, but they're not good enough, or not yet...

...good enough, to be classified as are good players, which is what we are classifying them as. So these B plus players who we're considering, he's a great players, they aren't at because they're not taking that next step. You know, you look at the likes of like, if I roll through the back line as Calin, milky, Doogle, Howard, Jimmy Webster all that. They all just really solid B plus grade players and you could argue that they, or at least maybe two of them, should have progressed to become a great players, but they just haven't. They've stagnated in their careers. You look at our midfield billings, as the same case. You know he's not consistent enough. He's showing glimpses that he has a se disposal four gold games, but apart from that it's usually twenty touches and he isn't becoming that a grade player. And then it's the same with arguably aggression be he's not playing at the moment. And then it's the same with, you know, Zack Jones is obviously injured as well. Then you know the forward line of Dan but looses a massive downhill scare at the moment. It's just said Ross as well. You know, Twenty Odd, twenty five touches a game can't keep savers life. These guys just aren't becoming alite. You know, you look at Hunter, Click, mcoffield coffeel can't get a kick in the VfL. These guys just aren't taking the next step so that when we do have fifteen plus B grade players running out on the field every week and we consider them are good players, are, you know, our foundation concrete players, and then we lose and we dropped the sea gray plays or running out with us or the young kids, and then we lose again the following week. We wonder will what's happening while we improving? It's because these players that are B plus grade players, the sorry Bob plus great players, they're making the they're making as many mistakes as these other guys that are getting dropped because there be to be plus gray players and I don't think many saints fans are seeing that because we consider them to be our good players. We consider them to be the a plus gray players every other club has, but they're not. They're not taking that next step to become those a plus great players, which is the problem the player development at St Kilda Football Club is not up to scratch at all these drafts and not cut just going to the next level and they're stagnating their careers. And if you look at the whole list it's a problem for everyone, apart from probably Jack Steel and Roller Marshall, who have obviously come on led leaps and bounce since they debuted. But yeah, obviously part from them, no one has come through and become and gone from you know, see to be to a they've gone from you know. So S's a be to be pluss. Helped the spot in the team. We've considered them a good player, but then they haven't progressed, they haven't gone on from that. They've held that quality and then they keep their spot in the team. But then when we lose we wonder why. It's because they're making as many mistakes everyone else, because there be to be plus great players and they're not becoming a great players who obviously don't make as many mistakes and all that. So yeah, at the end of the day, these guys who we consider our top players, they're not good enough to be top players for a team that should be in premiership contention. And that's the problem. It's the player development at the same killed a football club. That is the problem of the moment. It's not Max king whoever on typing on about WHO's in his second year of playing footy and nearly it killed you long two weeks ago in every aspect, apart from his goal kicking, which is unfortunate because he is a lovely kick, or he was in school and he's got a lovely action everything. But obviously we've seen a few hips in it in his game and but at the end of the day he's still tall, part actual long team in every aspect other than the goalkicking. So he he is someone I could confidently say will come on and be one of the best tool forwards in the competition. Apart from that. Yeah, look, the it's the play development, same Kilda, and the list. It's not so much list management, it's the blocks we got running out every week that we consider to be a lot better than they really are and we're blind a boy the fact that they are technically are better players, but they're not good enough to be our best players. That makes sense. So I know I've probably repeating myself about fifty times there, but is the sole issue at saying killed a football club. I think that's why when we do sort of come under pressure during games, we don't have anyone to pick us up because everyone's sort of looking to the next player because is they're not the best player running out there. So I mean that's the fundamental issue at Saint Kilder. It's something it really needs to be addressed by the playing group with him, because that's the issue. It's the play development, it's not the least management. So that's why I done had a lot of time to think about what words I wanted to use in this podcast and what your words I probably shouldn't use. Yeah, that's that's my extensive wrap up to the saint. Yeah, I actually think that's a theme in most sports. Like I don't think. I think whenever there's a team that's underperforming, everyone just looks like recruitment or, in AFL's case, drafting. But yeah, I think player developments never really talked about because it's a bit of a tough one because it's hard to know whether it's the coach not coaching them well enough or if it's the players just happy being...

...a B plus player. But yeah, I think that actually applies to a lot of teams I think Carlton's probably in a similar boat. Like they've had a lot of top picks and they've kind of just not really gone on and being good players, or they've brought in players and they've not done anything special where if you look, I know players in a good team look better, but if you look at someone somewhere like Brisbane, they brought in lines, he's an a great player. Now they're brought in even something like Lincoln McCarthy, who was VfL Geelong player basically, and now he's one of their x factor players. So yeah, it's just definitely an important thing in a big team. We basically seen Richmond. They can turn anyone into a quality player. So yeah, actually think it's a really good or from you, unlock. But moving on to your predicted top a and your players of the week, mate, interested to see if your top eight has changed after that Sydney loss. But who you got? I've kept the top three the same, so I've got the dogs and then the d's and then the cats. A bit more sure on that. I've got poured it forth. Given that is don't seem as good as they were in the early rounds of the season. I expect them to bounce back, especially when they get the few kids that got coming back in, like Zack butters, for example. The lines I've got coming up now to sixth the tiger is sorry to fifth the tiger is a slip down to six ice threw. I do they going to get a few players back this way, then down press year is virtually a certainty and they're going to get the likes of Edwards and Lambert in soon and the eagles in a seventh because they just can't travel. And we now know that. And it really is now going to be a flip the coin between the swans and the giants. If Toby Green, I know it wasn't an impact, I know it wasn't in impact on the weekend, but it's saying that if toby green was playing for the giants, I'd have the giant now in there. Is Not, obviously for a bit of an extended period. So I'm gonna still have the swans in there, maybe just by percentage of it. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if my tip changes to GWS next week. But yeah, it's I'm glad that now there is a little bit of under certainty around this top eight because I didn't want it to just be a set top eight after a few weeks. But yeah, the moment I'm just going to have this one's in there. They do have a bit of an easy fissure coming up, but in saying that, I think they can be a little bit vulnerable to these teams that are around their stage or just below them, as we saw on the weekends to Frey. So it's going to be a bit of a weight and see on that last one, but yeah, I've got this one's in there for my top three players of the week. It's death the other one. This is probably the first and only time this happens. The one is going to go to Clayton Oliver, obviously in the losing team. That's why it's probably the only time it's going to happen this year, but obviously in mass. Thirty eight touches, twenty seven of those we contested. Yet nine tackles for the clearances and three goals. It was one of the most dominant performances I've seen by a midfield up ever. He was unbelievable. How obviously couldn't get still, couldn't get the win for them he did everything and more, but unfortunately the power of the Adelaide crowd was just too strong. Born to Pelly is number two for me. Obviously isn't that hard and you're playing our rubble, but twenty six touches, six tackles to show that he's not just a ball in hand player, and then four goals. Three could have easily kicked more, but yeah, just tore us apart, just showed how he's come on to be an a grade plus player and basically the whole dogs team did so. Just really exposed that floor in us. And number three is one. Is Fellow teammate Jack mccrae, with forty one touches, nine tackles and nine clearances. Those two just run rampant in the midfield. I know it's obviously pretty easy. It's competition they were up against, but at the same time, you know, and they're the Readson, the margin was what it was they were. They just killed us in every aspect in the midfield. We just couldn't get it off them and they were just simply too good. It's as simple as that. They're obviously a lot of honorable mentions. Joel Soe, what I thought was pretty good for the cats. Tommy Jet Forty or touches, but you know, Standard Tom Mitchell touches and yeah, there's a lot of other souls performs as around the grounds, but yeah, I'll stick with those three. Is My top for the week. Yeah, actually actually back your call about the Sydney gws thing coming down to gws injuries, because I feel like it's easy to play well even with a few injuries, for like three or four weeks, but I feel like it's like seven, eight weeks down the road where the injuries start to take a toll. But yeah, yeah, bond loved having him my civier coach team this week. Brought him in one of my best trades. But we'll talk about that a little bit. Rookie of the week once again, I actually do not even know who got the rising star this week.

So it was cody. Oh yeah, that's good, that's good, all right. Did you? It is to your rookie of the week. He's not my worky of the week. Actually, controversy. I've got someone by the amount of someone by the name of Caleb Palter. Obviously in a losing team, had twenty two touches, seventeen of those were kicks, so shows he's got a lot of trust in himself to use his boot and Colin would have a lot of trust to have the ball in his hands. Obviously keep that goal late in the game to bring it the margin to one point. Shot a lot of nerve there in front of an mcj crowd and a really hard for game and is playing on the wing for them. So, like I said, colling and show a lot of faith in this young man out is awesome to see because he's got an incredible mullet flowing and it just be a bit pointless if he was on a player that just got dropped after one or two weeks. So he's looking to be a very good player for them, hopefully in the future as well. Nick Cock seems to just be second best rookie every week. Unfortunately just missed out on getting it for me this week and cody waitman. I actually had a third, I think one. The second goal we got, I think was a mass. I think it took a really good mark, but I think do your Howard's gone up and just sort of touched him and cody's take a massive diving flop. So he got to have a set shot from two meters out. So it's the only reason my code is in there for me because we were down by about eighty points, I think. But at the same time bit of a flop. So I'm not going to have carry you now I've got those two ahead of him. Yeah, I reckon I might have been a bit of a like carry over from last week. I feel like they do that a lot, like if someone stiff a couple weeks then they just you know, yeah, exactly. Yeah, so, yeah, I re confair called Solo to Dick Cocks. Yeah, so he's probably got one coming soon. Yeah, hopefully, but redrafting time. We starting to get back into the archives here. Two Thousand and thirteen. I still do remember these rookies. I wasn't in Melbourne at the time, but like I remember when the bond was a young man and stuff like that. He kicked that goal over his shoulder. It is that his debut came first year since Melbourne and Eddie had yeah, yeah, he was a strange looking blow back then. Actually he's aged well. But yeah, interested to see how far we get back because I might have to pull the pin soon when I start not knowing these names. But I might start us off. I like starn these reference off because then you can come in voice of reason later. There might I might have a few mature ages. I Know Rory Lab was, we mentioned that before. Ben Brown was. I'm not sure if there was any others. I think I saw one that was like a year before, but I can't remember who was. I don't think there was any obvious ones. No, yeah, right. So my honorable mentions. This is a, I was saying, a rowy before we came on it. I think this could be the hardest one we've done because, welcompared to the last week's one, there's a lot more who've had established careers in AFL and I feel like at this stage in their career it's hard to balance potential and what they've done already because, yeah, they're still only young but like some of them might only have a couple years left and stuff like that. So it's tough, tough juggle. But honorable mentions. Dom She recely premiership hero but hasn't made me, hasn't made my cart. Jack billings has always had a pretty high potential, but I think my top ten's achieved a lot more than him in the game so far. Zack Jones. I've loved that blow pretty much since he started, but yet, similar to billings, just hasn't done enough yet. And then three guys who have been really good either this year or last year, but a literally Carl aim on and dusty gardener. Maybe if we'd read did this in three or four years they might work their way into the top ten, but yeah, right now probably not good enough to be in the top ten. But number ten I've gone with Luke McDonald. Have a very soft spot for this player. I think he's a bit underrated just because he plays for a rubbish team. But he's been injured this year. I think he's played one game for all of about five minutes. But yeah, it was the two thousand and twenty north best and fairest, which you made laugh at because, like, you know, who do they have? But still good at still a good effort to be a best in Farriss from anywhere. But yeah, I think he's a really high quality player. They're sort of mixed around his role every now and then like he's had a bit of a go at tagging. He's had a go at the wing, halfback flank. But yeah, I think he's actually a pretty solid player. He had a bit of a form slamp, I think it was in two thousand and nineteen, late twenty eight teen, but either side of that form some PA think he's been a pretty reliable player for north and hopefully he comes back soon and starts adding some experience to that young team. Number Nine, pretty controversial guy. No one bit like Tom Mitchell now knows what his true impact on a game is. But Matt Crouch, a lot of talk about him, whether you'll leave Adelaide and stuff like that. He's brother obbviously did last year made the Australian team in...

...two thousand and seventeen, which, I'll be honest, I did not know you did that. Fair play to him. He's one of best affairest at Adelaide, being in the top five quite a few times. Yeah, it's just the reason he's so low that those achievements sound pretty good, but the reason he's so low. It's just I'm not sure about his impact and I'm not sure if he will progress any higher. I feel like he's basically showing us what he's going to give us for the rest of his career pretty much now. But I don't know if you'll have this bloke, but Darcy Burne Jones was in the Australian team last year one ports best and fairest. So winning best and fairest of a top two team pretty impressive. Had A pretty slow start to his career, have to say. There was a fair few years there where he was kind of just making up the numbers in the port team. But from two thousand and nineteen, probably halfway through two thousand and nineteen, has been one of ports best players. Not that well known. I know quite a few people were saying who was that bloke on all Australian night last year, but he's pretty reliable players, so don't worry about that. So yeah, I've got him a number eight, number seven. I've Gone Tom Brass. Think he is one of the most underrated players in the COMP. I'd have to say if he was at any other team he'd be talked about as one of the best tool back when going round. Because West Coast have forty eight gun to all players. It's kind of just kind of forgotten about and he's been in McGovern Shadow. But he was in the top four for their best and faress last year shot, so that shows how highly he's rated in a good team. And Yeah, I think he's very vital cog to that team because it allows McGovern to be a bit more of an interceptor, as he just locked down, locks down the big tool. And Yeah, I think he's a big reason why that defense has been so good for a long time. And obviously we've talked about in the past. Tall players are harder to find, even though this draft didn't actually offer up too many. But number six, if you look only started watching footy this year, you'd probably be very confused. Way Is it number six? But I've gone Christian Salem. I really like this guy actually, I think is what it has always been. A Very Silky player, but this year's gone to a level. Last year came seven in the Melbourne best in Fairss, but this year is coming about fifteen in the coach's votes, which I thinks a better charge of a players ability than Brown low votes, who's, you know, self explanash really, but brownlow voting is a little bit flawed. But yeah, so obviously rated very highly by the coaches to be up there. How to very good start of the year, as has a lot of his teammates. Not sure how good he can become. Will just have to wait and see. Be I just seen. The top five have all done a lot more so far in their career and that's probably like right now. He's probably good enough to maybe be second in my opinion, but just based on what he's done this career, I don't think he's achieved nearly as much as the top five. Number five, this is controversial, but I'm worried about how he's going to go into the latter years of his career with he's we're here in all these reports that he's getting injections every week and stuff like this. Is already starting to show a little bit of a decline from his peak. And it's Patrick crips. I think a lot of people would instantly well before this year anyway. I think most people look at this draft class go bot one, crips to but yeah, I just don't know how long crips will play or how long he'll be good for, because I think this year befolready we've already seen that he's not probably the Patrick crips were used to seeing. Number four, I think this guy is very good, struggling to get on the park at the moment. And he doesn't actually have a timeline on them this year, so I don't know if he's going to play this year. But James Silly, he came sick in the Hawthorne Best and fairest last year and he only played half the games for the season before he did his knee. I flirted around up forward. Wasn't quite his scene but, like Darcy Moore, struggled early, sent back and he turned out to be one of the best intercepting defenders at he was just so dominant side of last year and two thousand and nineteen as well. I think he was in my brown low voting thing I did. I think he was actually winning before he did his ACL so yeah, I rate and very highly. Think he can be a very good play as long as he gets on the park. I was going to have him probably a number two, but I just think with his injuries and he's limited like time of dominance, if you know what I mean, so far in his career, I think that's kept him down to four. Number three I've got Josh Kelly, highly rated player. I don't know how highly I rate and personally, but two thousand and seventeen Australian as want to be in F for the giants. Probably last year wasn't as good as we used to seeing. In the start of this year he was playing out a position, but now it's been moved back to the guts and he's been killing it the last few weeks and could arguably be a big reason why giants have played really well at the moment. But interesting to see what he does...

...with his whole contract scenario that he's got going on. I think he has an option of another like six years or something ridiculous. His contract is so weird and it's basically all up to him, so we'll see what he does. But he's one. Number three. Number two I've got Zack Merritt, highly rated player one to s and best and ferris two thousand and seventeen Australian, currently in the top ten for the coaches votes this year. High just don't really need to add much else. Could be on the move to Carl and this year, so we'll see about that. That's what broady thinks anyway. But yeah, everyone thinks he's a gun, so I don't really need to add much more. And number one, obviously marcus bond to Pelly, just off the top of the Dome, you'd have to say top five player in the competition. Not Like I'm don't actually other top five in my head, but yeah, I'm just free spitball in there. But yeah, three Australian appearances, currently second in the coach's votes on and three best and Ferris. Just before we came on the air, saw a article my facebook feed saying is here the best Western bulldog ever and he's twenty five or twenty six. So that basically just says it all how highly he is rated. Over, yeah, BOMP got to be number one. All right. So interested to hear your list because I was really unsure about most of them. Probably passed the top five I was happy with, but then below that I legit had no idea. So it's just hear what you say. Yeah, all right, so mine's not too shockingly different from its actually in the gone fairly Sim a few honorable mentions I've got. Unfortunately, the NAK has just missed out. I know he's obviously a premiership player and all that, but at the end of the day I think there's a lot of Rickman in the competition that could have played his role. I don't it wasn't obviously like best on grounds in any of those games or any it was a very, very, very good play out in it. See, since he's comes the Tigers, he was picked up pick forty odd or something, so very good trade from the Tigers that because obviously got their premiership ruckman. But I think the plays ahead of him reached a bit better. I've actually got Matt Crouch and the Honorable Mentions. I think he's impact on the game is obviously very questionable and he's obviously bit injury prone the moment, which I do tend the factor into these because you want to pick someone's very injury prone. So I've also got German MP's in there, Zach Jones in there, Ale earlier, calaim on, like McDonald, etc. But coming in the number ten, I'm going to have Christian Salem, not as high as you given this is the first year. He's really showing that he is a very good player of the halfback line. You know, it is arguably one of the less difficult roles. I'll okay, I'll use that wording. To play on the ground. However, you do need a very good kick to play that role and that's something he's gone. That's something that is very sort of undervalued in this sport. You need it to be a very good play, you have to have a very good kick and he's got that. At Number Eight, sorry, at number nine, Darcy Burn Jones, I do have him in here. Obviously very good play for poor pretty underrated. Obviously think it was a bit of a mame in his first few years. I think he few poor players, so few port fans weren't too happy to kept on getting a game, but he has repaid the faith and he's obviously very good player. I'd admit I was a little bit surprised to seem in that all Australian team last year, but the same time he's a very quality player and did when they'd be an F so scares to show that he is very highly touted by them. Number Eight, I've got domb she'd I know you had am I'm a bit higher. You left him out, but obviously, arguably eagles wouldn't have won that flag without him. He does get a lot of these twenty five plus possession games, which is what you want to see in your midfielders, and he is stepping up at a time where the likes of GAF, Shuey and Yo are all injured and he's shown he's still making sure that this big field is continuing on the way should be. And Yeah, in my eyes, is a very solid player. Since they drafted him. You know, probably isn't going to get any higher than, let's say eight, if I was to do this in a few years time. However, I do things a very good player for them and he's very important player to them. A number seven men that doesn't get enough recognition. Darcy Gardener. We always speak about these key position players, but yeah, Darcy Garner is definitely up there. For me, was obvious. It was a player that I wanted the saints to really get, but unfortunately we didn't. We chose to, I won't use that word, picks eighteen and nineteen, but we got Darcy Gardener. So they got Darcy Gardner and he's obviously been a very sold player for them and when we talk about playing in the shadows of people, and he's very much of the shadow of Harris Andrews, but he is a very good player for them in a very good lockdown, key defender. So I think they're being bitter. We always talk about how they'd be a lot of trouble the lines if they didn't have Harris Andrews, I think, obviously to a lesser extent, but it would be a similar case if they lost Harris Darcy Gardener,...

...which they have done. Obviously they got the win over the Tigers on the weekend, so it's showed that they do have cover for him, but he is a very good player for them. Number six, of what James Sicily, very very good player, awesome to watch, my most watchable players in the competition. Obviously unfortunate just can't get him any higher in this moment. Unfortunately, they do play around with his role the little bit, which is annoying because he should just play full time back, but the end of the day, very, very solid, playing, awesome to watch. And number five, Tommy burass. Obviously Premiership winning key defender for the Eagles, very much in the shadow of Jeremy McGovern and basically the rest of their list. But yeah, I'd struggle to see where they would have gotten that key defend from they didn't draft him, because he's been extremely solid for them and just a mainstay in that defense where a lot of decent plays have come through. But the end of the day and none as good as Tom Buras. So I would have liked to see how whether the results of devils in the past few years would have changed. They didn't have been the side because he is obviously the main lockdown defender where McGovern intercepts. But yeah, he's going to be sit up five for me. And number four actually got Zach Merrick. I don't have him fire than that. Things like disposal can be a bit shaky, which is why I don't have the head. And he's not, I guess, the toughest inside midfielder. We see he does play the inside bit outside, but the other day he's a very, very good player for the bombers. Obviously the rain midfielder and there is talks of him being sort of scouted by other teams because he's a very quality player. Obviously got all Australian, I think in the same year as Matt Crouch on I think we're on opposite wings in that team. Correct me if I'm wrong, but yeah, and number three I'm gonna and I'm going to have Josh Kelly, is very, very smooth, silky player for the giants and lots of people who have se doubted how good he is, and I think that's mostly due to the fact that he hasn't been playing fulltime mead. When he plays fulltime MED, he dominates, or not dominates, but plays extremely well every single time. Gets thirty really nice possessions and he is becoming a bit of a goal kick in now, which is what you want from your midfielders. Is exactly the type of player I want it to Saint. So I hope we go after him this year, but I don't think we will. I don't think we have a salary cup, unfortunately, which is ironic given how little elite players we haven't on list. But anyway, and number two are going to have patchure crips, which well, would have been just without question at the start of the year. At the moment, obviously he has very trouble by injuries and isn't the player he used to be. Seem well, she's basically overtaken him now, but I think, yeah, look, creeps, he's showed how good he is. He showed he's literally one of the best players in the competition when fit. Those tall midfielders of extremely good, as we've seen, and it's become a real asset for clubs. He's tall midfielders ever since botten crips were introduced into the AFL and five obviously. So I think he really needs a pear. He needs an offseason where he just focuses on the body or it just needs period of time we just focus on the body. You know, Colin, aren't final chances the last three or four weeks of the year just getting to sit it out focus on the body, because that need him fit to really be a genuine chance at making a finals push, because he is that good when fit. But at the moment he's just he's obviously being thrown into every center bounce every single week, getting tagged half of them, getting bashed around and they really need to protect him. Hopefully, for his sake, sound well starts getting bit of the attention. See Bloody needs to. I think he did in the second half of the Carlton Hawks Game. But yeah, I've got to have crips at to because we know how good he is and he's still are. You know, he's twenty four hundred and twenty five. Still has time to obviously reach those heights again, given it's only you know, it's only taken half a year to a year for him to sort of dip. So there's no reason why I can't take that same amount of time, or even less, to get back up to those heights that he used to hit. But at number one is obviously gon be Marcus bond to Pelly Gott. I wish we drafted this man. Unfortunately we didn't, and it's just so. He is one of the best players in the competition. There's no denying that. He's just that, like I said, a real as said, given he's at all midfielder who kicks goals, is a lovely piecing left, so piercing kick on him when he does. He his targets and yeah, it's twenty. He is twenty five. Thirty touches are a lot more valuable than many been. Most players thirty touches in the competition and he's going to come very, very close to Brownlow this year, if not within it. So He's definitely going to be my number one. I think I was the only position and this redraft I was comfortable with, so I'm probably going to leave it that. I also forgot...

...to mention Jack billings. Was An honorable mention, but yeah, that's going to round out my three draft of the two thousand and thirteen. Yeah, I think it. I think I should have factored in the premiership from brass and sheet as well as that's a good point from you, I think. I don't think anyone else. I bomb what a premiership to me. Yeah, but yeah, I think that's about it, unless like sack Jones one light at Sydney or something o the yeah, it's got to be. Think, yeah, what a dog it's going to be, because here it's actually going to be interesting to watch these podcasts back in like five years because, like there's people like Travis Boke who, if you thought about that, his draft class, I don't know, four years ago, like you probably wouldn't have even been close to well, I don't know who else is in his draft be know, I mean, and now he'd probably right up there with one of the best. Like it's interesting to see who kicks on later in their career or at time for some super coach Chat Mate. Yeah, look, I don't know, like I didn't score that great this week. Didn't have all of our and had Anthony Scott and James drawn on the field, as a lot of people did, but that was probably a big reason why I didn't score to our scored like to one hundred and forty, I think. So it got me a ranking rise, which says a lot about my ranking. But I said it last week. I said I just wanted to one hundred and I got it, so I can't complain. But yeah, in a bit of a pickle now. I've been running the numbers and I've basically worked out that I'm going to have to accept a fair few blokes as keepers that I probably wouldn't want to keep an ideal situation because once again I'll play the petty car to have coped fair amount of injuries. So that's probably wasted three or four trades and they could have been keepers and you know what I mean. But yeah, everyone cops injuries and stuff like that, so I can't complain, but it has I'll get you to talk about your week and then after that I want you to talk about has this news of Hawthorn and Gold Coast by change the thinking for this week or upcoming weeks at all, or you just keeping the same strategy right? Yeah, I'll quickly touch on my team. God, I hate this flipping medical sub rule because it's robbed me of at least about seventy yard eighty odd points. I obviously vct Oliver and I thought happy days, and then Tom Himure's named the medical sub but I didn't have the balls to obviously pole him. Obviously you didn't come on and in the same deal happen with Nathan Murphy. I just didn't have the balls. I was a lot more tempted because obviously this is my last chance to get Oliver Score, but I just couldn't. Obviously none of them came on, even though colling had had about three injuries in the first quarter. But at the end of the yeah, Jeez, I've so I got two three hundred and ninety one, which at the end of the day isn't a bad score. Button could have been a lot higher still. Jumped about seven hundred ranks, so back into rank two thousand, four hundred and ninety. So the team's it's getting there. I've only got five players left on upgrade and and I've got Maddie Flynn who I'm going to down grade in a couple of weeks in a by around Wi. We have three trades. It won't be this week and it won't be next week. It'll be the week after we'll be come into round thirteen and my big plan to really launch myself in higher into the ranks were in the leagues. Down Grade Him, because I've got a hundred forty K now in the bank, down grading him to grab hopefully another two hundred and eighty K and I'll be upgrading two rookies on field, probably by the likes of James Jordan and Chad warnut, to two primos. So that's gonna be very handy and get to set my team up very nicely. I'll have of three upgrades and eleven trades left, so I'm sort of hoping to get my team full premo with about six or five, maybe four trades left for injuries. It's first yes, I'm it's going to have be a big fingers crossed every single week once I get full Prim I hope you don't gets injured. But yeah, the end of the days had to stick with Grundy as captains, who got a hundred thirty eight. So did his best but obviously miss down olivers two hundred and four. But yeah, this news about Hawthorn and Gold Coast, it's actually helped for my structure that round twelve by I was I'm bringing in Lucky Whitfield this week. So don't tell anyone else, but I'm going early on him, just given the fact I need a bit of value in that defense and I need someone who could be top six and he does suit the buyers. So Oh yes, this this rescheduling has helped because this Ford Line of Zeebel Hole and MP round twelve was looking little bit skeptical. The defense as well, of Stuart Collisy and Whitfield wasn't looking too great. So now I can take off because you ski, I can take off. HIMP obviously have to take off Tom it you'll well, I've got covered him. So in that round twelve buyers,...

I can put them all back on for my north players, much long players and jedgest players and should be right for those two weeks. So yeah, if any it's definitely helped my situation because it's sort of split up that into two weeks. Those guys that are going to miss out. So yeah, overall I think it's actually tenfinitely helped me. So hopefully in the future the AFL just has one week where every team has a buy. It's just so we don't have to consider it changing our teams because of the fixturing in super coach. But yeah, yeah, in the day, yeah, for Super Coach teams. Looking to right, I'm going to bring in Pro Whitfield and James Madden to net me a hundred forty seven K so I can do some killer upgrades in a couple of weeks. But yeah, that's my team at the moment. Yeah, I think pilch is actually joining you on the with field. He has been. He was going to trade him the week as he came back. I think he wrote. Yeah, I think he's ranking is good at that point. So I think you went conservative. But now I think he's dropped a few ranks and you started to just send it. But Yeah, interesting pick up, high risk, car reward. I rate it. Yeah, at the moment I'm just stuck between two mindsets. I don't know whether to accept more dodgy keepers at the end of the year, talking like Hunter Clark and stuff, and in the meantime just get the elite premiums in or try and fill the squad with as many premiums, even if they're not as good. So like looking at, you know, trading in blokes like who's an example, like Tom Liberatre or been Cunnington, who probably will be a solid premium midfielder, but they're not necessarily going to score anything like the Craye or something like that. So I'm in between mindsets. They're at the moment I'm going this tempted to go the strategy of too cheaper premiums than just bringing like one gun, because I've been going the gun strategy the last few weeks. So I've got most of the guns now. But yeah, at the moment, as we stand, I'm training out Braden Campbell, who I was kind of just keeping, yeah, because he wasn't dropping him for us and forwards. I was just flinging him back and then I don't know when, but he popped on the injury list in his out like six weeks. So that's kind of kicked me into gear. So I'm getting rid of him. I've got Brockman anyway as a mid forward swapper, so I'm getting rid of him. Didn't get it to Tom Power last week. Was Holding out and he did do well. So probably going to get rid of him as well before he drops too much. So thinking it bringing in the hall because I've been putting off the forward line for ages. But I think now I've just got to get around it, especially because they're a lot cheaper than premium midfielders. So if this is if there's a week to do it, it's probably now, when I don't mind a cheap option. And then I'm thinking of bringing in, yes, someone like a liver, because I since Dunkley's injury he's actually been swearing really well and now trills injured. So can't see how that wouldn't even increase his screwing even more. So he's going to be my megapot if I do bring him in. I think he's own buzz zero nine percent. So they'll be interesting. I think everyone will be watching the dogs games, watching Daniel Bond and McRae, and I'll be sitting there a getting around liver, so stem viewing. But yeah, that's what I'm thinking about right now. But yeah, it also interested in shy Bolton if he comes back this week from his broken wrist. I think is a test later on the week. So Human Hall of my forward options. And then, yeah, in the guts. Obviously I'd like to go a gun like a gut, three or a lines, but probably gonna have to go a discount option. But if I do change my mind I would probably go like just Campbell, to one of the guns and just do one trade, as I do have four hundred and forty k. The bank not to can on any of the rookies this week, to be honest, did I have like a point scoring system for my rookies and if they crack a certain number I get them in. But yeah, this week none of them did be mounted. And wait minut probably pretty self explaina tree, but they're probably the two standouts. I do like Madden, even though he has a very interesting ball drop. He pretty good that that angle. They showed that all the kift did not do this exactly. Talking about don't know how he dropped that on to his foot correctly, but he got it done, so well done to him. But yeah, I got dogged by that medical subthing as well. Thankfully, Mim wasn't all of our VC. It was bond vc and I captain Grunty side. They lost eighteen points, but yeah, I'd three players, all COPS UBS and like I don't know what a chance at that him or Bergman and Murphy. I was just like yeah, there's no chance. Murphy and Bourbon both cop it, but hopefully all three of them. Well, two of them lost and port had a disappointing performance, so hopefully that means all three of them move into the sides. I'd be pretty ideal for buy a rounds having as many players playing as possible. But yeah,...

I'm actually came for the by rounds. I think it's a good chance for me to jump up because where I am in the rankings, I think there's a lot of people who are probably checked out now. So hopefully get up to, you know, top forty K or something, get out of the debts the depths of super coach. But yeah, anything else you want to add on or join? A head into the round? Eleven previous. No, let's hit his headings around eleven, I say, very interesting week coming on. All Right, who? I'll let you go first. I've been talking a lot. Sure better the week May. Who you're looking at here? Well, I looked at the obviously I've been looking a fixture for a week or two and there's a lot like if you go onto do your footy chips just about every game, it's like sort of ninety percent of tip this team and I've sent to this need. But I look at it again and I really don't see any short bets, which is a bit ironic when basically every team is ninety percent chance to win. You know, you look at the Tigers Against Adelaide. We've seen what Adelaide just did. They just knocked off the unbeen team of the competition. Richman is still be injury hit. So it is at the G tigers probably turn it up. I'm not a hundred percent sure on that. The cats, I'm not even a hundred percent sure. And them beating Collingwood, I feel as a collingwood obviously approves a little bit. Against the port they showed a lot more hot than I have done this whole year. But yeah, the same time I still like we've seen cats earlier in the year. Sorry, I think Hawthorne's a prime example I'm going to use. At the g haven't torn them apart and one the way they probably should have wanted to. Obviously it's changed, as I got Jeremy Cameron, but I still can'quer that out of my head, so I'm not even writing that in. There's a short bet or the eagles over the bombers? I don't know. I've I always fancy the bombers for an upset, but you never know. Obviously Eagles are pretty poor way from home. This is obviously going to be at home, but you never know that because performance could transition. So I'm probably yeah, I'm going to have to resort to pull out laid against Frio at Adelaide Oval, which is ironic given port probably have the most disappointing win on the weekend. So and three, I had problemost Gutsie when the weekend. But saying that, I poured at I'd laid oval. Surely they just turn it up, they get the crowd behind them, as I laid did on the weekend. And Yeah, just really trying to get a bit of a percentage brust because I think they're forming against top eight teams really poor, but their perform against bottom ten teams is a lot better. So that facted it with the fact that going to be at home. Obviously it's going to play into their favor. So probably gonna lean towards port as the short. But saying no, I really don't have any short bets this week. I'm getting I'm not going to be surprised when I see I tip three out of Eight. Are Eight. This week because, yeah, it's not confident on any of these bets at all. Yeah, I actually I've gone for the nine favorites this week. So completely. A briefly, you're saying, Oh, yeah, I have not changed that actually. But yeah, your thought process was pretty much the exact thing that went through my brain about four hours ago. So, yeah, I wrote out my eight tips. Well, yeah, it was night at the time, but eight now. And wrote out my eight margins. And Yeah, I've got four games of the margin of thirty. And Yeah, the three you talked about. Not Confident a hundred percent on them, like probably in ninety five percent or ninety percent. But Yeah, port most likely for me to get the DUB. They just have to win, don't they? Like they can't not in free as traveled pretty bad this year. And Yeah, just think port have to do it really and hopefully Lucky Jones goes big for my super coach team. But upset of the week, as I mentioned, I haven't tipped an upset. The closest ones. I Want Hawthorne to beat Gold Coast was one of my closest ones, but don't have to talk about that now. But I've Gone Carson to beat Sydney. Like, I'm not strong on it. I'm tipping Sydney by ten, but I just think week can't larnt that far off Sydney really. Like. Yeah, just back everyone else more really. I think the other eight. I think the other seven winners, all the top seven teams we've talked about in our top eight sections. So yeah, Sydney is the weakest out of that bunch and I can't see why Carlton can't knock them off at the SEG. But yeah, not much logic to it really. Just think cartoner AB outside. But what about you? I'm the exact same. I've got blues over swans. I actually might tip the blues for the sake of variety this week, because I never end up tipping nine or eight, so there's always a couple of screaming over, so I may as ll back the blues this week. Like you said, there's no reason for them to come out and knock over the Swan's in front of their home crowd, obviously saying well, shall run out and get thirty five. And I know how he's obviously playing a bit injured, but hopefully...

...he's a bit more right this week. We'll wait and see on that one. Hopefully Patty crips as well can maybe hit his best. Obviously, with a bit more of the light shining on sound Welsh, maybe this is the chance for crypstal merge. So you never know. I'm going to have the blues in is the upset. But Yeah, looking at all the games, I can really see a lot of upsets happening. I could see north toppling us, honestly, I could see honestly, I could see giants getting over Brisbane. I could see basically every other team is not favorite winning but as like you said, most like these are all basically top eight teams beating the bottom ten. So yeah, for that matter, maybe not. But at the end of the day, you know, you never end up tipping the IDA. So there's definitely going to be a couple that go the other way. So I reckon blues. Definitely went well, within a shout against the SWAN's. I think it's the fact that we've both chosen that is the UPSOS point pretty representative of, hopefully what's going to happen. Yeah, I think this could go one in two ways. It is round. It could be the really really boring and the eight fans get up or could we could have eight thrillers on our hands. Yeah, which should be exciting. Hopefully it's a eight thrillers with no crowds. I'd be a bit of a shame, but sure I will be loving it at home. Well, for the Melbourne Games anyway. Or a games spread. Once again, wasn't too keen on many of these. I've got to down that I like for the betting lines. I've got the dogs handicapped by six and a half points. I've got them beating the Melbourne by about twenty. Just think last week. You compare the teams. I know at the moment Adelaide in Adelaides are hard tasks and St Kilda, but the discrepancy there was pretty large. One team one by a hundred and ten. One team lost. So yeah, I can't see why the dogs can't come out and beat Melbourne, not convincingly but by more than seven points. And then gws. The their had their head start as twenty seven and a half against Brisbane. I've got Brisbane winning by fifteen at the moment. Are I could see them coming out and pumping them but, as we've talked about a lot, could see them not giants feel like they don't get blown out there, but really they seem to. Every game their ends pretty close, so it's always like fifteen to twenty point margins. So yeah, with the head start of twenty seven and a half, I think there are solid chats they're to cover that line. Any any you like a couple? I like North Plus Twenty seven point five against us. To be honest. Last few weeks we've seen north kicked over ten goals released gotten over sixty five points in every game. So I don't like our scoring power at the moment, especially in the fact that we are very inaccurate in front of sticks, and I can definitely see north turning it on at Marvel if obviously the crowd isn't probably going to beat as I forgot to mention actually when I was talking about the short bets of the week and in fact that port I was going in front of their own crowd. But yeah, obviously probably not going to be a crowd there if things go the way that we think they will. But I still think north they beat us with no crowd last seasons and I could definitely see them getting within twenty seven point five without one. I think they have obviously little bit of well, I've said, they hit a little bit form. I got pumped by US and them, but they have hit a little bit of scoring power the last few weeks. They they getting, you know, if they even if they get smashed, they're still kicking sixty, seventy eighty points. So definitely set in getting within twenty seven and a half. The Blues as well, plus fifteen and a half if I'm going to back them. Maze. If I'm not going to back them, may as well back their line. So I don't mind that one at all. The Swan's don't have the greatest ability to blow out teams. I think that's obvious changed a little bit this year, but at the same time we can still see cold and getting within fifteen and a half if they are to lose. So those two. Yeah, like he said, there's not too many to like this week. I don't like any of the winning spreads because every time I hadn't, every time I back a team to thump another team, the spread still is like and I back the line, it doesn't get up. You know, it's only like a mediocre five goal wins. So yeah, I'm going to back those two this time and sort of hope that there's a few underdog thrillers this week because that's going to hopefully aid my lines this week. Yeah, the as you mentioned before, there will be like yeah, there's I'm going to be eight vlogging soar. She's about picking the right ones really. But yeah, also did not mention this earlier, but after say, shitours from Collingwood. Their crowd on Sunday was pathetic. I know I was a guess it interstate team and I know they come in second last, but they're meant to be the biggest club in Australia, which they probably are statistically, but I expect more from them, like I expected from Hawthorne Glory Hunters, but not rocking up once they shit that collingwood are. Come on, stick it fat lads. Speaking of speaking of Collingwood,...

I read this, the worst article of all time, this morning about Nathan Buckley, Andy's new girlfriend. Oh yeah, there was like Paparazzi photos. I was like, who's his job is that to like find Nathan Buckley on the street and like take photos of him and his girlfriend walking? was the worst piece of journals matter ever. Anyway, that's US for another episode. Mate, I'll give this a nine out of ten. I don't know what makes this M ten. There was very no will know what it happened. Yeah, it's a bit like love, you know, when you know, you know that we didn't forget any Caleb Daniels, or at well, I won't put you in that. I didn't forget any Caleb Davis. Is Bet we draft. So that's a positive. But yeah, just got to wait for the ten. Really can't label it on a wrong one. Can't go early or we know, will know. But thanks for joining me again, mate. Keen to go check if this moon's gotten any redder, because I don't think it has. But hopefully interesting. Oh and just a very quick message I'm just received about Victoria's state of lockdown. I just had a look at a fake article that I've been rolled by as I've opened that. So never mind, but it's a yeah, it's been of a funny send off but yeah, can't wait for the dog's days on Friday night. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get onto this. That's sort about it, but yeah, you'll know exactly what I mean. To anyone that's listening, ignore that I've just been absolutely told by a by a messenger just received. But well, to be honest, by the time this goes out they'll probably be a lockdown. Actually happens? Yeah, to be obvious at it. You know I will be trilled listening. You'll just be US look big. What I mean? Look, the captive Danne was announces Victoria to go to stage five and lived fifty nine pm on Friday. Has A url. I've cut your old and it's not what I thought it was. So that's exactly what I was referring to. I like, yeah, so that's that's a massive I've taken the bait there, but I've got on the private browser. The sounds do and the end of the day, on the group chat that this was sent on, there weren't any reactions. Yet I was the first to read it, so I assumed it was legitimate, but apparently I'm sorry. Yeah, it's a bit of an anticlimactor way to end the IT Potty, but yeah, all right, whether it's from your home or in the stands, enjoy the week of footy. Hopefully it's eight good games or eight floggings. And Yeah, to the Gold Coast and the Hawthorne Fans enjoy a week off the sport. Not sure what you'll get up too. All Gold Coast. You know, we've made the joke many times, but not many. Yeah, shout out for going for a fell on the Gold Coast. But yeah, anyway, thanks you. Join me, Riley, same time, same place, next week, I'm sure, maybe with PIL Chim. Will See, but catch a soon. Cheer Absolute.
