Cheese. He settle. Welcome back to the on the ball podcast. This is episode seventy one of the show. Today won't bet around the Bush today and joined by pillage once again. Welcome back, man. Thanks right to be back. It's not like you haven't been on the podcast for a while, but I think it's been a while since we've had a one on one. Miss them the you know, the the Og days of just pilching Cork, talking about England and rested these dead scret but yeah, before today we're going to be recapping the first three weeks of the NFL two twenty NFL season. We're going to be talking about teams have impressed US disappointed us. Predictions. We would like to change that. We were that are now changed after scene the first three weeks and then we're going to go through on the offense, mainly just position by position, talk about QB's have impressed us disappointed us, and then same thing for running backs, wide receivers and tight ends. So there will be a little bit of fantasy talk in the player section but for the most parts probably just going to be normal NFL talk. But obviously there's a big overl up there. But before we get into. I never say this, I always kind of forget, but if you're watching on Youtube, feel free to subscribe to the channel. We always pumping out content, about three episodes a week and lots of NFL stuff. We greatly appreciate it, but will start with you may. So we're going to start with the team's what team has impressed you the most over the first three weeks of the season? Well, one of them would have to be the Green Bay packers. I'd say they're arguably the best team in the NFL right now. Three No, they have breeze past some good teams. They beat the saints at the Saints, which is one of the hardest fixtures in the NFL, and Aaron Rodgers just looks like an absolute beast. So there are a lot for playoffs and probably get the number one. See it at this rate. Yeah, definitely impressive and it's their their divisions. Well, although the bears are three. No, we might talk about them in a little bit. Their divisions looking a lot let weaker than we were probably expecting. Yeah, I know in our predictions we had all the teams from that division kind of dropping a little bit, like except for the lines, but I think we did have the Vikings and packers regressing, but it doesn't look like the packers are really going to join them. The weekend really impressed me, though. They'd kind of been relying on, well, not the whole team, but like rodgers, had kind of just been hitting up Adams every play, like you were predicting in the preseason, but without atoms. That kind of tested them and they showed that they're still good enough to put it up on out. Alan lazard was very impressive. He caught like, I don't know, he might have call like a sixty yard pass, but yet to pump the saints and although they only one by seven, I think it was actually a pretty comprehends of victory. There's been quite a few of those where the school board is probably a lot kinder to the team that loses, because I think the packers are pretty dominant. But yeah, I actually have to admit I'm probably a bit harsh on the packers sometimes. But Yeah, they've been pretty good this season and, as you said, there are a lot for playoffs. With the form the Vikings are in and obviously the bears quarterback situation, that's going to be tough for them to make playoffs. Yeah, so the packers, they're very impressive. We are surprised by Rogers. We might maybe talk about him later, but are you impressed with how he's done or is this what you're expecting from him? Well, we know he's a base, but time not to be impressed by what he's doing, because we we thought he might struggle a little bit this year with the lack of weapons, but the black's just been bawling out news. Arguably in the MVP contention at the moment, probably top three with Mahomes and Russell Wilson. Yeah, it's going to be I agree with that. Yeah, it's going to be a big three weeks for them. They've got the falcons. Who that's basically do. I die for the Falcons if the Falcons are owned or they are like. I'm sure people say that out after Owen three, but I'll cut them a little bit more slack and I'll give them an extra game. But Ye, if their own for they're out. So that's a must for the Falcon so you would expect that to be a tough game for the packers because, like they'll, the Falcons need that win. And then they've got the bucks...

...in the following week. So a big fortnight for the packers. And then they've got the Texans after that WHO, although they didn't don't seem that impressive after the first three weeks. At that point they might be three in two or something and really looking to get a big scout to put their season back on track. So it's going to be a very interesting first three weeks. Next three weeks for the packers. I think we'll learn a lot about where they're actually sitting at the moment. My first team that's impressed me. I can't see. Can't lie. Probably wouldn't say this sentence too often because we just expect them to be good for every season in the last twenty years, but I'm going to say the Patriots. Yeah, I don't know. They've they haven't. In the first week they didn't like they weren't dominant. They beat the Dolphins to eleven, but they came out lost to the pay seahawks on the final play base, basically Cam Newton got stopped on the line. They were that close to beating probably the most informed team the NFL right now, next to the chiefs. And then they on the weekend they pumped the raiders pretty comprehensively, beat them by sixteen points. And probably what's impressed me the most about the Patriots is their points scoring ability this season. I know the first week's probably you could have probably expected them to score a little bit less, a little bit more, but I think the dolphins defense is pretty underrated full style. But to score thirty against the SEAHAWKS, and then thirty six against the raiders, who have been in pretty good form for a team that struggle to school points last year with the goat quarterback, I think I was really impressive because that was probably area we expected them to be a little bit worse than this year, especially early on. But, similar to the packers, they've got a big game coming up. They've got the chiefs this week and I'll be honest, I think the chiefs are bit of a different level to the Patriots and and then they've got the forty niners and three weeks. So like look, we might come back and after week six and we might have a different view on the Patriots if they're, you know, three and three or four and two, but at the moment they're flying and yeah, I really like them. Just we'll talk about this later probably, but I actually predicted the dolphins to sneak in above the Patriots. I was probably a bit stiff on the Patriots, to be honest. Wasn't sure what can new and we were going to get. But also molee, after this first three weeks, I'm pretty confident they'll come second and they'll probably be closer to first and third. So yeah, I've liked what I've seen for the Patriot have you been impressed or were you? Yeah, definitely. The big question mark was probably the quarterback situation before the season started, and Cam Newton's definitely surpassed all the expectations there. He's been bawling out and that that man could rush for about fifteen touchdowns on the ground this season. He's just been doing it every week and every time they're near the goal line, they snapper to him. He doesn't even look to pass. You just tried to get over the line. So he'll be big fantasy asset but also big for the Patriots. Fans should be happy about that. I reckon. Yeah, I have to admit when I made these predictions are actually because it's from our pre preseason prediction episodes. Actually don't know if Cam Newton was there, so I'll give myself a bit of slack and I'll say that he wasn't, because they might. I don't think it was. Yeah, so that was probably a large point of my reasoning. What other sides do you want to get around? I'll go the obvious seahawks. I mean, along with aside from the package, they probably also look like the best team in the COMP and their offense is just ridiculous. Like Russell. Russell Wilson's pretty much got the MVP in his back pocket at this point. He's been throwing up five TD's per match. Their weapons look ridiculous. Carson locket metcalf like they don't even need a good defense because they're just going to put up thirty five plus points in game each week. So they are a very scary prospect. Yeah, do you think they're going to win the West? You pretty confident? Yeah, they will. They're definitely the niners. Injuries are going to cost them. Yeah, the niners were impressive on the weekend though, but yeah, I agree. I think the seahawks the way they're playing at the moment. They've played three pretty good teams and, although some of the school lines have been closed, they've been the better they've been the better team in most of like the game time in those matches and their drawer gets pretty easy. Now they've got the dolphins, Vikings and cardinals, which could see Jesus might the great right Mus Trade for a few of the seahaks cells. That could be nicey. Yeah, it'll see. How will be interesting to see how the dolphins deal with metcalf because he's been an absolute headache from most teams. We saw what he did to Gilmore in week two. Just made him look like a rookie,...

...even though met calf is basically the rookie. Yep. So they've got the dolphins, Vikings and cardinals. So if they come out of that six? No, obviously it will depend on how the forty nine is are going, but it's going to be pretty hard to see them not winning that division and being an absolute powerhouse in in that NFC conference. It's going to be interesting to see who snags the NFC first seed. We know now with the plate changes to playoffs coming first, not second, is even more important because only one team gets the buyer. Now with there's third wild card being added. So they're probably the prime contender right now and next to the packers. So it would be interesting to see who snags are. I'm going to go for a bit of a left field one here. I'm actually going to go to the Carolina Panthers. There one and two, so it's probably a road call, but for me it's just been the way they've played. I know we talked about a little bit in the preseason, but we thought the panthers were going to be absolutely useless. We thought their defense was just going to be leaking like s every week because they lost so many players last season. New quarterback, it was, new coach, like it was just a complete unknown and we were pretty negative on them. But ultimately they've done pretty well. Week one they had a four point loss to the raiders. Week too they lost to the bucks by to Td's and then on the weekend they beat the chargers by five. So one and two doesn't sound great, but considering the preseason expectations we had on this team, I'm pretty impressed. The raiders there in pretty good form, so to lose to them by only four points is pretty impressive. The bucks look they're they're a bit of a different class to the panthers, so you'll excuse that loss and ultimately it's not even that bad to scores and then to beat the chargers, although they are having their own quarterback issues with tailors injury. I think that's pretty impressive. So yeah, I'm really impressed with the panthers and Teddy Bridgewater in general. To be honest. I think it's been playing really well and exceeded most people's preseason hopes for him this year. So yeah, the panthers, I don't think they're going to be a world beat of their pretty much guaranteed to come forth and the NFC south, but I think they will be a tougher task for most most teams, and they were expected to be. And it's like we keep saying, the next three weeks are going to be interesting for the panthers. Given off current form, you would probably think there are a chance to maybe get one or two of these games, but they've got the cardinals, then they've got the Falcons at home, but when, yeah, with the current form the falcons are and you can't write that off. And then they've got the bears, who are in great form, but it is the bears at the end of the day and the choke is inevitable. So yeah, I think it's a lot brighter than it was expected to be Carolina, and I'm not saying they're going to be a contender in the season or even relevant basically, but I just said they're going to be a lot better than team everyone was expecting. Yet who you going to next? I'll go the rams next, I think. I think not. I think people, a lot of people, would have had them for or potentially third in their division and they look a lot better than that at the moment. They're probably the second best team in that division, arguably, and Mick vy looks like he's back to his old tricks, like they're. Their offense looks really good this season and we all know they've always had a good defense with Aaron Donald and that. So yeah, I reckon there. They're in a good spot. They were robbed against the bills. I don't know if you saw that. Yeah, I had passed interference call at the end. So they should have won that, which would have them at three. No, but yeah, they've they have had some good wins and they should make the playoffs from here, I reckon. Yeah, I agree with you. Do you do you think they'll come third in that division, though, as opposed to second or fourth? Yeah, do you think they're not good enough to finish above the niners? or I reckon they are good enough to finish, to finish second, but third is probably the most likely out here. But obviously that divisions the best division in the yeah, there's been talks that, probably before this weekend, to be honest, because I think people kind of changed on the cardinals. But they were kind of talks going into the weekend that that they might be the first like division in history where all four teams make the playoffs. Genuinely could happen. Yeah, well, last at the moment, last place is two and one. So yeah, it wouldn't shock me and I've been I've been really impressed with Jared Goff as well. We know he had a stink our last season, but he's come out looking good this season. He does have good weapons, which helps, but he has looked good. Yeah, he's playing the situation very well. Next up, you just kind of touched on it against the rams, but the rest of my teams are kind of...

...just similar to the pants as they're just bad teams. That have impressed me that that they're not bad basically. But this is my only other left field one. I've gone the bills offense. So I not putting the defense in this because I think the defense has been very disappointing, but the offense. They've scored that they have had a bit of an easy fixture in the first two weeks, but they've put up twenty seven against the jets, thirty one against the dolphins and thirty five against the rams and I think Josh Allen is clearly having the best like month of football in his young career. Everything's just looking pretty good at the bills. I was pretty confident they're going to be a top for top full player in that AFC. We had a bit of a debate in the preseason it with the steels versus the bills, but I think both of them well. Not Not taking anything away from the steels. I think they locked him for playoffs as well, but yeah, the bills are looking guaranteed to top their division at the moment. The Patriots do in good form, but I don't think they'll get close to them. But yeah, they really struggle for points last year. Similar to the Patriots, they just relied on their defense. Many times they would be winning games, you know, twenty to thirteen, twenty to seventeen, but to have to thirty plus scores. I think the Bills Administration would be pretty happy with how their team's going at the moment and I think Stephan digs is fit in pretty nicely. Yet that that's that offense is slowly looking pretty good. Josh Allen's getting better than they've got a bit of a trident with digs, Beasley and Brown and then single tarry with moss finishing off the drives. It's a nice little it's a nice little squad they've got going there on the attack and their tight ends aren't too bad. So on one side of the ball the bills have been quite impressive. And anyone else you want to touch on in the impressive or do you want to head to the disappointing? I'll give the raiders a quick shout out. I think they deserve a shout out. Two and one. Not The best showing against the Patriots last week, but they beat the saints two weeks ago and they've got some good, great players on offense, as we know, like Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs, look like absolute specimens. But their defense has also been really impressive, which we probably would have thought would be a weak point coming into the season. But there they've played quite well and that, yeah, they winn against the saints, was very impressive. Yeah, the rest of my teams I was going to mention but basically touched on them all, but the seahawks and chiefs. Obviously they're pretty boring ones to go over, but I think they've been just insane. And then Washington, Jacksonville and Miami. I think they've been a lot well, my me, I don't think people had that low expectations for but I think they've been a lot more competitive than everyone was thinking. That Washington defensive lines pretty scary, and yet the JAGS and dolphins have been making a good fist of it. Moving on to disappointing, I'll start us off with the other half of my final impressive one. There, but the bill's defense. They were probably coming into the competition as the top three defense. I don't know if that's completely true. Probably next to our probably top five. I'd probably have the steelers, niners and ravens above them, but probably sliding in a forth or something. But they've leaked seventeen points of the jets, twenty eight points to the dolphins, thirty two to the rams. So something they built their team on basically over the last three years has all of a sudden become their weakness and I don't know, I think it's a bit of a worry. I know they have two injuries to their too starting linebackers, I think, which is probably a huge fact that, because linebacker is a basically like your quarterbacks out there on the defensive side. But yeah, I think it's a bit of a worry given the fact that defense is kind of the way the bills were expected to win this year and although it's a positive that the offense is overperforming what they were expecting, I think it is a concern because I don't think we can quite rely on that offense to be great week and week out. Obviously, Josh Allen's been awesome in the first three weeks, but I still think he's not too far away from having a game where he, you know, has a hundred and fifty passing yards and one touchdown, two interceptions, kind of stat line like that. So yeah, I think the defense. Hopefully it bounces back, because I do like the bills, but at the moment they're I'd be quite worried because they're not like the rams. They're pretty decent on a fair offense. They've got some good points, but last year they struggled in attack to score points and to be leaking thirty two to them but, more importantly, twenty eight to the dolphins. I think they're pretty concerning figures. They're. So yeah, if I was that the bills I'd be bit worried. They've got the raiders coming up and then the titans, so I think they will be two good games to judge how...

...their defense is actually going because although both those teams are decent, you'd expect a defense of the caliber of the bills to, you know, limit them to twenty points or so. So we'll see how they go there. WHO's bought number one most disappointing me. I won't bring them up right now. First I'll bring up the vikings. Yeah, they stink. I think we think we might have predicted them to come for our predicted the lines as a joke, but I might. I think we also are a curtis said second, but I said I said okay, but I have to say when I said it, I thought it was a bit of a road call. Like, yeah, it wasn't like I think a lot of I think most people, kind of thought the packers would regressive it and in the Vikings would probably stay the same or get a bit better. But they've looked absolutely woeful. Kurt cousins sucks. I mean he he's lost Diggs, but like he sucks. And there they are. They only three or one and two, their own three. Yeah, they've got to be all there. Our yeah, they's. And their defense is their defense like might be bottom bottom five defenses in the NFL at the moment. Like it's stinks. They're just they're can setting forty points left, right and center. Well, what a thing. What is Derrick Henry have on the weekend? Ye, had a hundred nineteen yards, yeah, and two touchdowns. It did. He did have like thirty five attempts. But yeah, it is Henry and it is Derrick Henry, but like that's still pretty bad. Yeah, but their secondary, their secondary sucks as well. Like they're conceding so many yards to wide receivers. So they they've got to do something about that or we might be we might be seeing them get Trevor Lawrence. Yeah, I don't I don't know what's going on there. They kind of let a few players in the defense go and I know they brought in I don't know how to pronounce his name, but I think it's young. They can glick garkway to replace everys in Griffin. But yeah, they've lost everything griffin and they lost savior roads, who for more reports as pretty bad last year, but I think he started the season pretty well, to be honest. So, yeah, they've got to pull something out of their hats because it's not looking good at the moment. Some of their stars on defense aren't doing that much. You Got Harrison Smith, who wants upon a time was like the best safety in the season in the in the league, and he's not looking that good at the moment. So yeah, really disappointing from the Vikings. I think they're probably the biggest loser of this opening three weeks in my opinion. I know you're pretty low on one other team, but yeah, for me the vikings have been absolutely woeful. It does it. We do have to admit they only lost on the weekend by one point to a decent times team, so it's maybe like I don't think they'll come last in that division or anything, and I still think seconds definitely not out of the realm of possibility for the Vikings, but I'd be I'd be quite shocked if they made the finals, if they made the playoffs, because I think just the power of the NFC south and NFC west this year. I think, yeah, you have to have ten plus wins to be looking at a wild card. I just yeah, I don't back them in to reach that point from here. Next up, I've gone the Philadelphia Eagles. Probably a bit of a cop out one really, but I don't care. Someone has to point out how about they've been playing. Lost to Washington, got whacked by the Rams and drew well tied with the Bengals. Yeah, it's just being a bit of a shocker. I'll be honest. I've predicted them to finish above the cowboys. I was a bit of an anti cowboy and still kind of them. To be honest, I don't think that that good, but I bore Anti Eagles and then too cowboyds. Now Carson Wentz. Look it the obviously for more reports. There are lines completely batted up and they've got no one and it's just a train wreck. But look, when see I like I'm still kind of hanging on his I think it was two thousand and eighteen when he was going to win the MVP and then got injured. But Yeah, look, I'm starting to that like image of him in my head is starting to fade and I'm now starting to think of, you know, to interception Carson, and we can out. It's getting a little bit silly from him and this year it look like he actually had some pretty good weapons. Some of them have been injured, but I think slowly they're all sign to get on the park together, but the results aren't coming. Yeah, that result on the weekend was really disappointing. So yeah, and I'm fortunately made listen to this. Listen to this. They're going to be Owen six, well, ill five, and they've got the niners, the steels and the Ravens are Jesus May Carston is going to be bent a week six. That's actually cool. It's Alsill, come on, although just taking at Trevor Lawrence. Yeah, it just have to be there. Fixture gets a lot easier after that. They got the giants twice, cowboys and Browns. But yeah, it's not not good at all. What were you going to say? Yeah, I was going to say...

...that when sucks and will. We're probably going to talk about him later in the POTTY and disappointing quarterbacks. But yeah, he's been atrocious in my yeah, that's that's division. Yeah, look, it's it used to be one of the best in the camp like early two thousand and tens. They were all pretty decent. But yeah, now, like I remember, Washington used to come to third and they would push for the wild card when they had like kirk cousins. But yeah, nowadays, no good. Probably the probably the worst. Last year, would you say? Do you think they're the worst division? Yeah, definitely, and this year they're definitely looking like continuing that, although the AFC south might be contending with them. But yeah, WHO's another disappointing team for you? Yeah, well, that's gonna I'm going to roll on to it straight onto the cowboys after talking about the eagles. Their offense has looked decent, which it was last season as well, but they're they're in also in the argument for the worst defense the NFL and the only reason they're not own three is because the falcons pretty much gifted them that win with some absolute shit our three, but they deserve to be own three. And, like Pi, I actually don't know who's making the playoffs. In that it's that they're making playoffs, but they're getting whacked. I reckon. Yeah, they definitely really. It's just dog that they're in a crapt division. But I'm not I'm not even going to lie. The giants or a sniff they've had. They've had a tough, tough running games, but anyway, yeah, either way they all suck. And yeah, the how boys suck. Their defense sucks and Amara Cooper sucks as well. So, yeah, I know I look like an idiot because I was the one getting around Philadelphia preseason, but I can't cop. People fell for the Dallas in the preseason. Like yes, I do think they'll get better. It's only their first few games with a new coach, so things will get better from here. And their fixture like it hasn't been the easiest. But yeah, I don't know. I just don't wasn't copping people coming out and saying they're going to be a super bowl contender. Yeah, I want I want to say in the game against the rams, I think they would down by three in with like a minute left and they had to go eighty yards and they were throwing three yard like passes out wide to Amara Cooper and just getting three yards. So I don't know what's going on. Mike McCarthy might be a joke, the same as Jason Garrett. But yeah, yeah, I don't know what's going on there. But luckily for them they've got a pretty easy running games come and they've got the browns, giants and cardinals, so they're likely going to be four and too at the end of week six and going to be sitting pretty to win that division once again, although they lost it last year. But yeah, they'll be pretty pretty confident they'll win that division. But I don't high hopes for their playoff dream. But yeah's next up. I've got. Who Am I going next? I'll leave you that team. Yeah, I'll I'll do going for a rogue one. I'm going the ravens and it's basically for one match they were absolutely smashed by the chiefs. Yeah, it's only fourteen points, but if you watched it, it was it was woeful, like the ravens just couldn't move. It was really bad and I'll be honest, I think we might talk about it later, but I think Lamar Jackson's been pretty disappointing this year. Yeah, round when he came out smashed it through like, I don't know, for touchdowns or something, we thought everyone was kind of expecting him to maybe even the balance a little bit this season of passing to rushing, and then week two and week three he's just going back to old Lamar and I think a lot of it is down to we talked about this the other day, but I think a lot of it is down to their weapons just are not good enough and a lot of the Times he's running and he doesn't even want to run, he's just kind of running because there's no one to throw to. Yet mark Andrew's absolutely rubbish. On a stinker. He dropped one in the end zone and he dropped quite a few an open player that would have resolved in first downs. But yeah, I think they're not using Marquis Brown that well. They're trying to hit him on like flat targets for forty yards rather than doing like the Russell Wilson big arching past sixty yards and let him run onto it because he's got to burn any cornerback in the league. So yeah, I don't know what's going on there. And Yeah, they're two and one, so it's probably a bit harsh to say they're disappointing, but I think that week three result really just show they haven't taken any strides from last season and I think it's going to be hard to see them do much better than they did last year. But yeah, it's it is early in the season, so probably got to cut them some slack. But I think Lamar said this in his post match press are but at the moment the chiefs of the Ravens Kryptonite...

...and there's not really a way they've worked out how to stop it and they've got how long do they have? Like fourteen or fifteen weeks to work out how to stop them in the playoffs and if they can't work that out there in big trouble. But yet watch the media get around them in the next two games against Washington the bengals and life will be great in Bolton once again. But let's not forget this game anyone else. or well, you haven't even got to a main team yet. Yeah, the Atlanta Falcons. It kind of hurts because I actually like I've developed a liking to the Falcons this season. I like Matt Ryan, I like Coolio and Ridley. I think they're all beasts. But apart from those three, I want to say they're the worst team in the NFL. If you exclude those three players. Their defense is arguably the worst. Like teams just chuck up forty points against them for fun, and Maddie Ryan just has to some out throw four touchdowns for them to be a sniff. And Yeah, their offensive line sucks. Um Todd Gurley hasn't really looked like his best self. And Yeah, they just and Dan Quinn, the coach, I think he's in big danger of being sacked. And if they don't start picking up wins, because like, how did the did you? Did you see the cowboys? The on side kick against the cowboys? Yeah, you tell me about it's literally the Falcons like didn't know the rule that they could pick up the ball before it went ten yards or something in the cowboys recovered it and the field goal. Yeah, I feel bad for Falcons because another part of this is because I'm pretty sure I predicted them either eight night or nine and seven and pushing for a second in that division as well. And Yeah, I had the second. Yeah, I had the I was low on the box. I thought the bucks are going to come third, Falcons were going to finish above them. But I think that's one I'd like to have back again. I think it's because we thought their defense it improved, but it just looks shocking. So yeah, I'll be honest. I think I think the situation in the fat they've been disappointing because of the expectations we had. We were expected them to be playoffs. But I don't think it's doom and gloom completely there. I have had hard games, but that's the way that they've locked them. has just yet a weekend. The weekend was the first one where I was a bit like, okay, lets this is going to be shot now. How can you can see three touchdown it's in a single quarter to lose the game? Just a joke. Yeah, anyway, and I know Matt Ryan has done so much for this team and he carries them in most games, as you're saying, he's usually forced to score forty five to get a win. But on the weekend I do think a lot of the blame has to fall down to him. It was pretty average. Nineteen from thirty eight, one interception. I think they had a chance to have a game winning drive and they went like for and out or something, and then folds just when scored a touchdown. So Julio is out injured and, as gage did, a concussion early on in the match. So he was he was throwing to some myths. But yeah, he did have a he did have a poor match. Yeah, but the bear scoring thirty against share, come on, like that's joking. There's let's they don't score more than twenty and unfortunately for them, it doesn't get any easier. This week they've got the packers and yeah, Jeez, it's not looking good. They goes and there probably be the probably going to be own for and then, yes, they're fixed. It does get easier, but old and Ford's bloody hard to make the playoffs from there. They haven't even had their division games yet. So yeah, that's probably where the playoff hopes have the only chance of like being alive if they somehow whip out two wins against the saints of Bucks. But yet right now is not looking good at all in Atlanta. Right that's all. I disappointing ones other teams I would like to mention. I'd like to mention the giants offense. We had big hopes for them and I think they've been pretty bad. They've played some great defenses, but yeah, it's not look good. They're I'm sending injuries to yet. That's very true. The saints don't really know how they went unmentioned in this to be honest, but what was going on there? There? They've just been woeful, as as you I don't want to admitted because I like drew breese, but yeah, this point I think we've realized that their whole playbook is just built to Michael Thomas and then, yeah, that's it for me. Anyone else you want to quickly mention? Nah, that's all. That's all the main months. Well, let me other predictions to chant. What prediction is? Do you want to change? I've got I've got my I've got a lot that I want to alter. I've got five in five divisions. I want to alter them, but my main I'll just say my main one because we've kind of mentioned all the teams I want to talk about. But I want to push the rated. I...

...had the raiders fourth in that division. I thought the charges, broncos raiders will going to be very close, like a win or two between them, but I think the rate is I'll be honest, I think injuries have helped. I think drue lock being injured has definitely helped their cause, but I think they'll be quite comfortably second. Charges and Broncos just don't have enough points in them to win many games. So yeah, I'd like to push the raiders fourth to second. For me. What's your main change you want to do? Well, the two I've already talked about them, but the FA oukins and the Vikings. I had them both with positive win records and they both suck. But also the cowboys as well. I think I had them very high and it's going to be I don't think there's any world where they end up with anything better than eight and eight. They'll still in the division, but they look shit. But yeah, there's a lot of divisions I want to change my order, but I probably won't go into it. There other main one there is probably for some, for God's sake and reason, predict the browns to finish about the steelers, which high. No, that's not age very well. But yet the browns aren't even going to be close to the steelers. I don't think they'll get within six wins of them, but by the end of the season. Right now into the players, I'll get you start us off. Most impressive quarterback. Who Are you liking here? I'll start off with my main man, Joey Burrow. He was the number one draft pick, so we all knew. We all knew he was talented, but through three games he's looks like an absolute beast. He's thrown five or six touchdowns, thrown for over over three hundred yards in two of the Games and rushed for another one. And they've who they play. Last week they played the Eagles and I had they've played some decent defenses. I think. I still think they're better than Cleveland, I think are. They played away at Cleveland in that game and like marginally lost. It's very cool. But yeah, anyway, very impressed with Joey Burrow. Slightly biased because of frothing that he has been very impressive. I have to say I am always pretty aware of rookies and I think everyone gets too high on rookies coming out of the draft, but I'm one of those people. But Yeah, borrow more most people are, to be honest. But burrow is he's looking like the real team. Yeah, I think. I know it's only three games and I think all they've had his one tie, but they're looking like I'm like, and what Joey burrows producing? And I think, yeah, I think he's going to be a great quarterback and yeah, definitely good. And in fantasy terms he's doesn't mind a run either, so I think he's going to be a good fantasy quarterback for a long time. For me, most impressive has been Josh Allen. You've obviously got your obvious guys. You Russell Wilson's yarn Rogers. I don't know if you're going to talk about them in a second, but yeah, Josh Allen, for me he's had a breakout month. Basically he's had over a thousand yards, only one of two QUB's in the League to do that, ten touchdowns and one interception. So like touchdowns, touchdowns, is a hard one to golf because, look, someone could have got their team there and then they just rush one yard and it doesn't go down as a touchdown to the QB. But the yards is just showing how far he's moving that team up and down the field. So yeah, perhaps we'll he's been missing is that that long range pass catcher to stretch the defense, which is Stephon digs, and I think that might have opened up the whole the whole field for him and he's loving it. Interesting, interestingly for them. I might talk about this later in the wide receiver section, but cold beasley seeing a lot more action than John Brown, and I reckon that could be because digs is, you know, stretching that defense. There's more mid space in the middle for Beasley to like cut across in the slot. But yeah, Josh Josh Allen's loving it at the moment. Seventy one point one percent completion, but yeah, over a thousand yards. That's perfect and probably one of the most crew like. People criticize them a lot, so I think he's done very well. But yeah, who anyone else you want to mention? Yeah, they're obvious ones like rodgers and Wilson, who you mentioned before, but another book I've but personally been impressed with who I wasn't very high on coming into the year. Big Ben he's looked he's looked like his old self. He looks shaky and round one he was missing a few easy balls, but these is still through three touchdowns and since then he's he's looked good throwing touchdowns. I think he's helped by his weapons. One of the blokes I'll talk about in the wide receiver section. But he has looked good and the steelers look very good. I actually think they...

...there are sniff to come first in their division. It really that's a big cool. I probably wouldn't go that far, but you know, I do think they're going to be right up there. You know, push it looking around twelve wins, I'd say. But yeah, I like that call. Is Come back a lot better than people were well, maybe not people are expecting, but people had a large range of what they're expecting. Is probably right in the top end of that range. Next I've got Teddy Bridge Water. I have to say he stats are probably inflated because a game script. I think a lot of games he's just been allowed to just launch and now with McCaffrey out, they're probably going to throw it away more than they would have been originally. But History an eight hundred and seventy one yards, the seventh most in the NFL, and he hasn't grown many TD's. But, as I was saying, he you can get your team there one one yard out, it doesn't count to you. So I don't think tea's is the biggest out. Two interceptions. Look, that's probably going to be expected when you're basically just slinging it. But yeah, I think he's doing really well. I kind of had high expectations on him when it got announced, but then over the preseason my expectations kind of dropped a bit because I just saw what he did at the saints and I thought he was going to be pretty good. But over time I got a little bit less on him and then, like fantasy is not really relevant, I was like, Oh, maybe he's actually not going to do that well. But yeah, he's come out and he's looked really, really good. So yet teddy, Teddy's impressed me. Definitely. Yeah, I'd over that. He's looked very good. Yeah, and then I don't know if you have any more, but I think you mentioned it before, but in the impressive teams you said Jared Golf and his also impressed me. Eight Times Yard, eight most years in the calm, something we could not have said about him last year. So yeah, I think he's been pretty good. Anyone else you want to touch on? That's all for the impressive or disappointing. Who are you leading US off with? I'll start off with Carson Wentz. He's probably the main one. A lot of people, including myself, had high expectations. Kind of thoughted go back to his old ways with getting getting a few weapons back. But no, it's not the case. He their offensive line is depleted. He's been under a lot of pressure, but he's just looked woeful, throwing interceptions, barely moving the team up forward. Miles Sanders has had fifteen targets and he's a running backs of the all short range targets and he's only caught six, which means when sauce has been missing some five yard passes left, right and center. But yeah, I'm kind of worried about him, to be honest. Yeah, I love Carson, but it's not looking great for him, to be honest. Yeah, I'm worried definitely the main man there. I'll look up this. Guys still pretty young in his career, so I don't really want to crap on him. But I've got to mention down and Jones. I was in fantasy especially. I was expecting him to break out with in our high see that when we're talking about ceilings, we said he was like had top five potential. But yeah, he's I don't think he's in the top fifteen, maybe not even the top twenty. Right now. In yards he's had six hundred ninety nine, which puts him in twenty two. Justin Herbert, Justin Herbert or her bear. I'm just used to the French show Herbert. I'm sure they say her but he is only like forty or fifty yards off and he's played one last match. And Yeah, that's just saying something. But yet two touchdowns for interceptions. Is the that's the worrying thing, not so much the touchdowns. As I said, I don't really care about touchdown, but for interceptions. That's more than one game. That's that's pretty worrying. And Yeah, look, yeah, I think it's just going to be worried about D Jones. Now, like I know quarterbacks they take a while to get going and he will have the whole season under center, so I'm sure he can improve. And if as we mentioned before, they have played some tough defenses, so probably going to factor that in. But yeah, he's been underwhelming for me so far. Yeah, I'm a big fan of him and he's he has not looked good, but I think he's been unlucky as well because he's lost, arguably is too biggest weapons on the offense in say Kon Barklay and Sterling Shepherd, and the offensive line could be the worst offensive line in the NFL. Looks disgraceful and, as he said, they've played hard games, but I think the Danny Jones stocks are pretty much gone for this season. Yeah, well, when I'm picking fitzy over him in fantasy, I think we know. To be honest, I'll FIK fitsy over most people, but I picked to bisty over in last week and he got benched. But all right, anyone else you want to nine for disappointing. I've got your two men, actually both on here. Lamar,...

I'll let you talk about the other one. I'll go lamar. I don't even have the other one, so maybe talk about their okay, I'll read, I'll go drew brees. then. Yeah, he's just it's just the first three weeks of just showing we touching it before, but just how important Michael Thomas is to the offense and breeze is starting to look like he's incapable of throwing more than about fifteen yards at a time and he's pretty much just being carried by two yards screen passes to Kamara so far that season, to Joe's actually. So how does the work? I don't know. The one against the packers was just gross, but it's so like obvious, but you can't like commit to it because it was go somewhere else. But yeah, yeah, I'm worried about him and the saints as a whole. Their defense been pretty bad as well. Yes, that's true. That's like their main strength. Probably. Yeah, yeah, not looking good there. Do you think? Do you think he can get back to form? Definitely not asking for my fantasy day. I'm and he's. I mean he's going to get Michael Thomas Back, so that's definitely very good for him. So he's probably he's not going to be throwing fifty yard touchdowns, but he'll have a heat. The thing is he's still very accurate. Lu He you look at his completion and it's always like two furred and twenty five, but they're all just five yards. So yeah, he'll be fine. Like, I don't like I think he is slowly regressing with age but, like, I'm sure he'll be. He'll be fine for the end of the year. It's more just how he goes in playoffs. Doesn't really matter how he goes at the moment. Yeah, but yeah, it's a team. They're a bit disappointing. But yeah, Lamar, you touched on it that weekend here. I think I had seventy five passing yards or something. It was just it was pretty bad. He hasn't had any interception, which is a good thing, but it shouldn't. Someone on the weekend, laughing, I'm black, dropped one. But yeah, not great. He's in one of the best, best offenses in the League and he's operating at a hundred and twelve yards a game. Like. I know their main strength is running, but that opens up the field for passing and everyone talk like there's always this like argument whether it's just a running back, and he is very strong that he isn't but the question. It's got to be us. But it's fucked how he has an absolute stinker, throws seventy five yards but still gets eighteen fans and points. Actually is such a hack for fantasy. And they're playing. They've got a really easy fixture. I can't remember who I said they're playing before, but to bottom feeders and the eagles. So look, I think they're going to bounce back and post week six I'm sure we'll all be singing their praises again. But yeah, not great. And just quietly. I don't know how this bloke is avoided mentioned in this discussion yet, but kirk cousins we talked about in disappointing. But the Bloke, what does he averaging? Seventy three yards a game. Wait, surely no, no, it was before last week. That's he's rating. Sorry, I looked at the wrong column. Still. Well, I know. Wait, sorry, I've completely dogged the blokes with their yards, but game la Mars is like a hundred ninety. Cousins is like two hundred and seven. I was looking the rock column. But Yeah, look, it's not great. What do you was that game he had like he was against the colts last week. A hundred yards, three interceptions, like forty percent completion. Knows just whoe full. But yeah, Kirk cousins just can't move the boys. Six interceptions. Believe he's tired with when sauce the boys. But yeah, not great. Kylamari Chicli throwing five interceptions. They're creeping up on us. But yeah, not good from Kirk cousins and yeah, as we mentioned, just not really good from any anyone on the Vikings. But yeah, that's all I've got for qbies. Anyone else you want to shout out that? Let's move on to running backs. Yeah, or most impressive running back? I'll start us off. Yeah, are you going do your man? I am going my man. I was going to go your man actually, but I'm going my man. Are you all man? I'll go. I'm in wait, we can stop because I'm getting the page up. Actually, ill, which one of my men? WE gonna go? Sanders or Clyde? Yeah, all right, yeah, my man. We have James Robertson, Robinson. I've said Robertson for some reason. Three hundred and thirty nine yards from scrimmage, three touchdowns, and so those three three nine yards are on the Jacksonville Jaguars. I'd like to point that out. One of the worst teams in the League, one of the worst quarterbacks in the league, one of the worst oh lines in the league. He's pretty much got the worst gig of all time and he's doing pretty well that. Yes, fournette was a bit of a beast...

...there as well, but I think Robinson is showing great signs of being a great player. When was it? Thursday night football last week, so Friday for us in Australia was the first time I saw James Robinson in action and he looked seriously good. Miami aren't known for their past rushing defense what so far this year anyway, but I think he made them look pretty bad. Yes, he kind of benefits from a lot of dump POPs because, I mean, she's not great, but I think he's running game in general he was pretty good. He's averaging four point nine yards pro tempt, so that's pretty handy for an undrafted rookie on a bad team. So Yep, James Robinson's definitely the most impressive running back for me by quite a long stretch. Yep, so same with me. He looks like an absolute beast and in terms of fantasy, the old game script argument, they're probably going to be thirty points down in every last quarter this season, which means it will just be dump off central in Jacksonville. So you've hit the absolute jackpot with with Rubbo there and Cuz mince you can't throw. I'm hoping whenever they get read zone, just just run it over for boys. But yeah, I'll go Aaron Jones. This is a bloke who are very wrongfully doubted in the preseason and I want to admit that right now and take it all back. He's just he looks as good, if not better, than he did last season and he's going to check up another fifteen touchdowns, probably going to win old mate Peasley our fantasy league while he's at it. But yeah, he's I mean there are fact they've probably got arguably the best offensive line in the NFL, which he does benefit from, but he's a God. So yeah, definitely definitely have it a cracking season. I think it was weak to yeah right, absolutely balled, but yeah, definitely doing well and standing up and Davonte ABS Adams ups since in that offense. Before we get into most honor, I haven't even finished. Yet most impressive running backs, Clyde Edwards all are for me. I know you were huge on him. You drafted him very early in fantasy, along with many others in the world, but I had my I was reserved a little bit, as I am with most rookies, as I said before with burrow. But yeah, he's been awesome. I don't think it's too hard to look good on that offense, but to look as good as Clyde's looked, I think that's a credit to him. He's averaging what like five point two yards of touch he's at he's only had one touchdown. Come on, let's give him some footy. But yeah, every time he runs he looks like he's going to score a touchdown. Just a bit of a weapon really, and I think if he was on another team he'd be dishing up bulk rushing yards. But well, I don't know who's benefit it is, but thankfully he's on a team with Patrick Mahomes so he doesn't have to run that much. But whenever he gets his chance he's always there. Very impressive. But yet Clyde Edward saw it looks like he's going to be a superstar for quite a few years. Anyone else you want to mention? Yeah, agree with agree with that Clyde call. Start to have him on the team. Give Kamara quick shout out. Don't really need to talk about what he's been doing, but he's been a beast. And I'll give my other man, miles sanders, a quick shout out. A few people with fifty on him coming in. He missed round one, but he's he's looked elite and he's been playing all three downs. So he's got the he's got the passing workload in his back pocket and he's had ninety five yards in each of his two matches and he kind of looks like he has to carry that offense because of how bad when sauce looked. But yeah, that's a he's a bright spark for Philly. Forty five touches and two games. That's pretty spicy. From Miles. I don't know how we've gone this whole episode without talking about the Titans covid thing, but good, good footy from us that. Did you see that game got postpone? Yeah, I went on. I'm fantasy cast and I've seen Quinn's projection go down to fifty because of Juju and Derrick Henry. I'm like, what's actually happening? Like, is there a chance it's best still being played on like Tuesday or something? Yeah, it's still being players just being pushed to Monday or Tuesday, so Tuesday or Wednesday our time. But yet I don't think it's that big of a deal. I think they're still playing and going ahead start at a later day. And also, did you see Ron Rivera's comments about tway house? Kids know that I'm not. Yeah, people reckon he's not going to be starting too much longer. Are Really WHO's they? They got caught with a Kyle Allen that they brought him. Yeah, they've got him, but they've also got Alex Smith and apparently both true chance and but yeah, I...

...don't know where Romfara stands on Alex Smith. But yeah, people are saying he didn't draft him. So there's a strong chance that he just flips them off straight away, because if you don't draft someone, you probably don't have like the connection with them that like you know, when you drafts on, you want them to be be so you cut them slack. But he's probably probably going to be ruthless. And what do you put up like three interceptions or something on the weekend. I don't know. Yeah, he like socks. I feel bad for him. Yeah, most disappointing running back. I think they're all my players. I'm going to Ken you great. I'm going Kenyan drake as the first guy. Look, I'm I've sort of by yards from scrimmage and I'm seriously scrolling here. Still can't see him. there. He's thirty eight cheers made. He had fifty nine touches. For some context, Kamar has had fifty eight, Jones has had sixty. They are the top two in yards per scrimmage. So my man's getting enough of the foot he's just don't doing anything with it. Yeah, look, it's just been pretty bad from him. He hasn't had much in the receiving game, but running the footie just just not much. Has Gone from really four point one yards per average, which is just on the cusp of being absolutely crap, and only one touchdown. Yeah, look, it's not it's not great from him. Yeah, I had big coats through in the way you finished last year. I thought he was going to be a top five running back, but that's looking like that draft pick has cought me cost me the competition, which is good to see. You know you've lost it from week for yeah, he probably the first two weeks he played the niners and the another good run defense, so I kind of thought, like I, he'll, he will bounce back. But round Washington, yeah, they're they got a good defensive line. But wait, three Detroit lions, shocking run defense and he didn't get it done. It's I think it's partly because of Kyla. Yeah, Carlo, all the touchdowns. Yeah, in fantasy that hurts big time. But yet the yard's per tense not good enough. What about you most disappointing running back, the really obvious Joey Mixon. Yeah, look, it's not entirely it's in fact, it's not his fault at all. Some absolute prick called Giovanni Bernard exists and still plays on third down, even though mixing is six times the better player than him. And the Bengalso line is I thought they added a couple pieces to it in the offseason and I thought it actually might improve, but it's just been shocking again and he's averaging about three yards per carry. So yeah, Joey, he needs to get out of there because he's a I'll still think he's one of the most talented running backs in the NFL. Yeah, Joe Mixon, three point two yards for a tempt. That's all. Like he's as much problems montgomery was doing more than our last year fellas. No touchdowns either. Yeah, it's been pretty bad. He's had fifty nine touches, so more touches or the same as drake, and even less yards. So yet two of the worst. Then I'll shout out todd Gurley. I was all I was big on him in fantasy as bulls. He thought he was going to somewhat return to his peak. But Yeah, fifty two touches, two hundred yards. It's just not being great from him for yards per tempt. So Yeah, look, Aus, I'll be good a game. Scripts going to dog him a bit this year because he doesn't play on when they're looking to pass, like they bring out Brian Hill or whoever that myth is. But if they're winning games, he still looks like he's getting the reps along the ground. I'm not concerned about his touches really, just more he's not doing much with them. Yeah, like, I'm probably going to stick with girly because at this point. I don't think I could trade him for much. But yeah, I'm not too worried about girly. I just don't think he's going to be as good as I was expecting, but I think he'll be fine here. He'll probably just be like one of the worst ur be twos you can have, though. Yeah, anyway, I'll probably start James Robinson over and most weeks, to be honest. Yeah, that's that's good, cool. I could probably be more on fixtures, but yeah, right, most depressive. We're starting to get up there in time, but I'm chilling. Most impressive wide receivers. You, I feel like you're probably more of an expert on this topic than me, to be honest. But who are you going here? I've got a lot written down here. I'll started off with Calvin Ridley, probably the most obvious one, but the bloke is a god and I'd arguably here's a question for you. If you could trade Julio for him straight up. Are you doing it in fantasy? Didn't I offer that to him last week?...

I think it was like part of you offered that as part of like a bigger thing. Think yeah, I've gotten to the point now where they're probably dead even I think Julio still like the Alpha and like better player, but that means he cops the yeah, it's like Ju Ju in two thousand and eighteen. Yeah, when you call the second cornerback, it's life's good. And Ridley look seriously good. So he's just been balling out, so he's hope. We hopefully with the Julio Injury, teams have seen what Ridley can do and then when they come back it's a bit more of an even thing with the defense. But I think Julio has been too good for too long. Now that Ridley it's just going to be left open more often than not. And Redley's the touchdown man as well, exactly. He's a bit of a beast. He catches the long ones as well. He's averaging six, sixteen point six per reception, which is like almost a while large. That's almost Mike Williams kind of stuff. They're or most impressive. For me, I'm probably going to go the man we took about before, but same team, third receiver, Russell Gaya. I didn't know too much about him going to the season. I've seen the name, but that's about as far as I could say and new about him, but he's had a hundred and eighty six yards and three matches as the third receiver for two of them, and yeah, that's just really impressive. That's basically all it needs to be said about him. One seventeen, seventeen receptions in three matches as the third wide out. I know they throw it a lot, but that's a lot more than most third whiteouts and he was probably the standout week one and two. Week three, as you said, he got can cuss, so he came off a bit early, but that in I think it was week one where Julio Ridley and himill had nine receptions twelve targets. Yeah, so, yeah, they're looking. They've got a pretty beast passing game Atlanta, but it's probably the only thing we can say good about them. But yeah, I think he's been pretty good this year. Who Else you picking from your large list, sir? I'll go my boy, deante Johnson. I was really high on him coming into the year and he's definitely broken out. He looks like he honestly looks like the Alpha, like he's I think you had double the targets of Juju in the first two weeks and unfortunately got can cast early in the second quarter in week three. But what that block does after the catch with ball in hand, he's he honestly looks like Kamara, the way he makes the way jukes. blokes like to actually silly, and he had a he also had a punt return touchdown which got called back because one of his teammates did a flag, which is calm of what he did to Ju Ju in round one. Last seven. Can you remember that? Genuinely? See, I was a sitting with that him or Moncrief, but yeah, yeah, I was him. But yeah, he's he looks like a he looks like a beast and Big Ben likes to target him as well. Next up. Yeah, that's a great call. I I like Tante our. Next up. I think this guy's gone very unnoticed. But Robbie Anderson, I think he's I believe his boke. I think he's had an awesome start to his Carolina Korea. I think. I feel like it was a bit of an underrated pick up. I think it turned to their weapons into solid with DJ more and Samuel to pretty beast. When you've got to like, you know, top ten, top fifteen receivers and then Samuel's probably the best third white out gone round. But yeah, he's killed at twenty receptions, two hundred and seventy eight yards. He's just like this magical balance between long range and high cap rate which you just don't see. You has a eighty three point three catch right and he has thirteen point nine yards perception, eleven point six yards for target, which is the highest yards per target in the top Jesus, in the top like fifty people. If you sat by receptions in like the top fifty, that's the highest yards per target. So he's copping a lot of air time, a lot of long range, but he's also duke in them a lot, which is probably actually another thing to shout out bridgewater for. That's probably a lot down to him. But yeah, Anderson, I think his yards are boost I think you had one like massive td in the first game. He might have gone like eighty yards or something like that. But yeah, that's been really impressive how quickly he is, you know, a simulated into that side and him and DJ. More though, Moore's kind of not lived up to the hype so far this year. He's slowly getting better and they're kind of looking like a tasty tandem. Anyone else you have one? He just shows how shit the jets are, because, I mean he's just an absolute myth on the jets, chucking up forty yards a game and now he's a beast. So, by the way, I know you're not being on him, so you probably agree this. I'm...

...a bit of a I think he's decent, but how does Donald not ever get talked about for being like Shit? Or yeah, like H Allen gets rinsed more to get ris to like last year more than Donald doesn't. I know the jets suck in most positions, but like if, if they go through this year, we like two in, surely they've got to consider like drafting a QB, because I don't think he's the man really. Yeah, like if they, if they came last, I reckon they would, they'd have to draft trevor. Yeah, ditch that. At the same point, like, why have you drafted the top ten quarterback and then you've just put like Jamison crowders the best weapon he's got. Like, I don't really know what they're doing at the jets and they they're just a joke of a franchise. Yeah, I don't know what they're doing there. They are rubbish and it's so who else do you want to talk about? Justin Jefferson, or just week three? Justin or the three way three? Justin Jefferson, but it's only pick up on the lable while. Yeah, I'll pee, I snagged him, snagged, you know. I just I just don't think, when you've got kurt cousins and on the Vikings, I don't think seven for a hundred and eighty yards and a touchdown in your third ever match that that's not a fluke. Like he has to be seriously good to be putting that up. So I mean as a rookie, if you're doing that in your third game, you're a God. So yeah, I was keen on Jefferson. I thought he was one of the tastier looking draft prospects and yeah, it's good to see him breaking out with that big game. The only I don't even want to really mentioned. I was going to mention Corey Davis, but realistically is just slotted into the wide receiver one role. There he's done well. But the deal with AJ Brown? How long is he out for? I don't even know. I don't even check my team anymore. You've been. You've been stings high those listening. I've copped AJ Brown, Julio and John Brown. So on the weekend I physically couldn't start a wide receiver in one of my wide receiver slots. I would have had to drop someone and pick one up just for the week. But yeah, that's what I'm dealing with. Down it down at Miss's men. I know you got a long list, but anyone else you want to mention? I'll just give quick shoutouts. Hopkins, Metcalf and Dick Yeah, or rate, although shouts most disappointing wide receiver. Or we probably won't spend too much longer on these net last three categories because we are getting up in time. But I'm going Odell Beckham Jr. I don't know. I just think he's been pretty crap. I don't know why people would drafting him as like the wide receiver ten or wide receive like for me he was like the wide receiver twenty eight, if that. So He's rolling at a fifty percent catch rate, which is what you want to see. And the funny thing is I think a lot of this could be down to Baker g mayfield, but seven yards per target and he's operating in a fifty percent catch rate. Like I'm sure it's down to Baker, but I don't know if you can put all of that on Baker. That's pretty bad. Averaging fifty one yards per game, which isn't the worst, but when you're meant to be one of the best whiteouts in the competition, that's pretty bad. And overall I think that whole Cleveland passing game has been pretty crap. I think might talk about hooper later, but I think Landry who by and him, I've all been underwhelming. Yeah, I had I'd Landry online and I don't think we mentioned Baker in the disappointing quarterbacks, which we definitely should have, because that bloke socks balls. But I'll go landry's one, but I'll go t why Hilton from the from the cults. Yeah, I mean he's he's he's getting old, but I mean he's meant to be the Alpha receiver on on the cults and he's just been putting up about thirty yards and match and I'm pretty sure he's he's past it now. He's he's no longer relevant. I don't know what's going on with that. I don't like. I actually don't know what the colts are like. The somehow good, right, somehow good. But I started when one with the loss to the JAGS. Yeah, like how did that? It pumps. I think there's the Vikings. They can't the Vikings like thirty eight till Evan and lost the cheat the jets as well. That was Oh yeah, I don't know if they're good or not. But yeah, it's a bit weird. But Yeah, to Hilton's definitely been poor. Other guys, I'll mentioned John Brown. I think, as I said before, he didn't play the second half of the weekends. Game could end he had an injury all last week. But I think he's it. Like they had easy opponents in...

...the first two weeks so he kept a lot of touches. But I think Beasley's almost getting more action than him now. And Yeah, look, I think, especially in fantasy terms, but just for the rest of the season, I don't think I expect much from him. He's pretty, pretty old. Is probably going to be the wide receive the three they're now just given the cold beasley players in the slot. And Yeah, I don't have much. Yeah, I don't know. It's probably bit stiff on John Brown. I probably forgot to factor in that he didn't really play on the weekend, but yeah, probably more just because I've been in fantasy and he dished up at Donut for me. And then other two I mentioned, I'll say Renfro he had a good game in the weekend, but I think the first two weeks he was very disappointing. Drafted him I thought he was going to have a bit of a break out this year, but yeah, he's not looking like he's going to be a dominant player in that offense. And then brandon cooks is someone else who I thought might have returned to, you know, two thousand and eighteen, two thousand and seventeen brandon cooks form. But yeah, he's not really getting near it at Houston. Neither any of the Houston boys really. But yet who else? For you? Dj More is my last one. Yeah, I mean we, a lot of people, including myself, were very high on him coming in bridgewater. Definitely an upgrade on Kyle Allen and considering how much they've been throwing the ball, he's numbers have been pretty underwhelming and Robbie Anderson's been blowing him out of the water. So, yeah, I'm not really sure what's going on there. But yeah, I don't get he's starts a weird he's had twenty six targets but he's only had fourteen receptions. Yeah, I don't know if that's him or teddy, but yeah, it's. Yeah, it's. But target aren't that high. So I don't know if he's just having a shocker or Ted he's not doing well. It's always tough with that catch rates that you never know who the part is. But yeah, not great. Anyone else. Chris Godwin has been unlucky. I think you did his Hammy on the weekend and you'll miss a couple games and he got a concussion a couple of weeks ago. So but when he has been on, hasn't looked like he did last season. He's kind of look like just your decent, decent receiver. And Yeah, yeah, that a'll temper offense is a bit strange, but I'm sure he'll click intic ear eventually tight ends. I'll be honest, none of the big guys of really like well, I guess we expect them to be good, but I've got a few miss going for me. It's probably no fan he's been the most impressively. We a lot with most probably predicted the breakout, but a hundred eighty four games and hundred eighty four yards and three matches for a tired and that's pretty good. Two touchdowns, fourteen receptions in one of the worst offenses in the NFL. That's pretty bloody handy. Did I steal your thunder there? I did have him, but I had a few breakouts. Johnny Smith from the Time News. Yeah, I don't know, like he's honestly looks like a God and I drafted him in the last round and dropped him before week one. Eric Abron, which I'm still kind of pretty sure about that, but that's right. Got Darren Waller Anyway, but yeah, he's looked very good. Yeah, and then two other guys I'll shout out. Jimmy Graham. I was pretty I was bit of a van of his work come into the season. I thought he'd be pretty decent option, but he's been good. I think it was the weekend he had a bit of a breakout game, maybe to tit das or something, and then he'd be probably not as many yachts as some people would have been expecting, but been a big scoring threat for the rams. So he's always someone, especially in fantasy, who's going to be a spicy player. Anyone else you want to touch on? Their TJ Howkinson as well. He looks like he's break yeah, he's looked good for the lines. Yes, we love we love the hulk. We've basically predicted all those breakouts, but I think most people had as well, so I'm not going to get around us. Most disappointing. I'll kick us off with my main all my men are disappointing. It didn't concerning when half my fantasy teams in the disappointing sections. But Austin Hooper. I didn't have much hope for some and Hooper, I actually thought. I was a lot lower on the most people, I think on fantasy pros, which is like the fantasy worst. I think he has been picked around the wide receiver tent or something, but I had him lower than that. Yeah, I just wasn't too keen on him and maybe he's energy and picked Ti than I actually don't know, but I wasn't too keen on him. Just ended up drafting him because I thought he had a bit of upside as a bench tight end. And he is like just not touching the footy. He's catch right's quite low for a touch tight ends. So I think a lot of the quet Cleveland issues can be blamed on Baker. But yeah, just not copping much snap count, not copping much footy. Even with the...

...end joke you injury, it doesn't look like he's going to be relevant at all the in fantasy this year and, quite frankly, I don't think. Well, it's obviously Baker's fault, but I don't think the browns picked up what they were expecting. But yet who's been disappointing for you in the tight end spot? We touched on him before, but Mark Andrews. He snap count last year and this year haven't actually been very high. Like he doesn't actually compared to the other like top end tight ends. He spends a lot best time on the field, but plays for the Ravens, so he's going to get fifteen touchdowns. But he looked woeful against the chiefs. Dropped a couple of sodas, including a touchdown, which you would have been quite shattered about. But yeah, he's looked pretty shit. Yeah, yeah, not looking good. Other guys. I'll mention my starting tight end. So both the fellows, Jared Cook just not seeing the ball. Not sure why, but he's just not seeing it. And then two others, Evan Ingram, I don't know if he's been injured or what. Never know with him, but he is not really looked what we were expecting. And Carl Rudolph, I don't know. He finished the last year really strongly. It's good in the playoffs and people were maybe expecting Earth Smith Jr to come out and deal. He's touches, but he has done nothing either. But Rudolph just done nothing. So I think once again I'm seeing a bit of a theme here that all our disappointing guys have disappointing qb's. So maybe through it's all down to that. But yeah, they're worth a mentioned. Yeah, definitely big worry signs for Cook. Not Really. I was very high on cook as well. I think we both were, and I'm not really sure what they're doing. But my last guy, Zach Ertz from Philly, just great shot. It just hasn't really I mean he had it, he had all those he had those talks a couple weeks ago about potentially leaving. But honestly, Dallas got it. Looked like the better player for the first three weeks and is unfortunately fractured. Is is fractured something. So he's out now, which is lucky if it hurts fantasy owners, but it's just look pretty bad. He's only been I think he's been laughing. He has to maybe one or two touchdowns, but getting absolutely no yards. Obviously when socks and the online sucks. But yeah, he's been very disappointing in my opinion. So there we go. That's our three week NFL recap. I reckon we'll try and do this every three weeks. Maybe you I think we'll do fantasy episodes in between, but when I know we talked a little bit about fantasy and the back end of this one, but in the real in real life NFL, I think we'll try and do every three weeks.
